  1. Boring and frustrating at the same time. Must be how many posters’ wives feel.
  2. He was a low-rent Brett Farve starter kit at Indiana. Every play was exciting- roughly 50/50 for each team.
  3. Saban, Smart and Dabo paid players at FSU? That seems counterintuitive.
  4. "Bold" is certainly accurate but she was solidly in the Stripper/Tiffany/Redhead Danger Zone on that graph from the Beard thread. I'd like to think it was an "impression" but it's probably more accurate to say "didn't ever file for a restraining order."
  5. My 2006 didn't have a place for a front plate. The dealer coffered to just drill and affix a janky-looking bracket to the front bumper plastic. I just took the 2 tickets I got in ten years - both of which came from DPS as I drove through Waco between Dallas and Austin. Second guy got really hot because he could see the previous ticket in my record. Threatened to impound the car and some other nonsense. More on topic, the tint place that did my wife's car had a board of choices - one set was "front windows" and one set was "back windows." All kinds of "colors" - some had red undertones, some yellow, some blue, some grey, some green. Despite the two categories, they said it was my business and they'd put whatever I chose on whatever window I wanted. Did not ask about the windshield.
  6. Many reasons not to marry that one. She did call me out of the blue on my wedding day to try to invite me to move with her to Atlanta instead - which, now that I think about it, is probably one more.
  7. No way. Dude's a chameleon. In my head he looks like this:
  8. Extorting and moving in on a legal, licensed business because it still sounds criminal to certain people. The "call me 'It' cuz I can't take this shit" pronouns speech. The bikers selling laughing gas. All had me laughing so hard I put the show on pause. It's great. He knows his audience.
  9. CSB. A girl I was with fell straight down on her foot off that damn thing. Just stepped off it thinking there was still ground there and landed hard straight down on her foot. She complained for 2 days about the pain and I continued to tell her she just needed to tough it out. She finally went to a doctor who told her she broke a bone he'd never seen broken in 30+ years of practice. Put her in a full cast nearly up to the knee for 6 weeks - which made sex interesting. She blamed me completely, which also lessened its frequency.
  10. I have to keep reminding myself that 5 new pages on this site = zero new information and dozens of posts about Case McCoy.
  11. There is a person I know who is an equity partner at a pretty major law firm and basically lives off her parents. But it’s kind of a grift. She has a few houses, including ones in RO and West U. She would just rather spend their money on stuff like cell phones and groceries. The parents seem fine with it, though, so maybe “grift” is the wrong word - I will admit to a fair amount of jealousy when I pay big things like my property taxes.
  12. I have literally never waited 20 minutes to buy gas in 40 years. 20 minutes is a long time to save like $6. My time is worth more than that.
  13. Common law marriage doesn't exist in California for any reason or length of time (that's actually the majority rule in the US - only 10 or so states still have the concept). But California does have a complicated domestic partnership law that has some rights that occur automatically, and some you have to contract for in writing. Depends on the specific issue.
