Like I said, I think that's a piss poor example to try and make your point. A much better one would be him succumbing to the turf monster against Georgia. His weaknesses are he is not a physical WR given his size and he does a poor job of contesting catches. He also needs to run better routes and yes, he drops some passes but he has also made some spectacular ones. I also think he has improved this season and he might well do so again next season. No qualms at all with looking for a more talented WR in the portal however. Some competition might even spur Wingo to get better. And as for the subject of this thread, Parker was a far better option for contested catches and jump balls. I'd have to go look at his drops in the Citrus bowl since I don't place much credence in the Surly evaluations committee. I was gone most of the day and only caught the last 1:11 left in the 4th Qtr.
I plead ignorance your honor. As for why he is leaving, I don't pretend to be in the know and it's difficult to know which people claiming they do have the straight scoop.
I can just see Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs elbowing each other out of the way to snatch up, checks notes, Physical Culture & Sports major Parker Livingstone.
People get shoe-string tackled all the time, especially when moving fast or in the act of accelerating, because it's easy to get tripped up, especially if one leg or foot gets deflected into the other. Not going to argue he runs through tackles, but that's a piss poor example to use.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's more about playing time. As for a degree from Cal, his major is listed as Physical Culture & Sports. I don't think it matters that much.
