  1. The Logan Act? For real? Why not jaywalking or ripping off a mattress Tag? Trump had already been elected. The real crime is that Obama waited until Dec 29th to punish Russia for interfering. It’s not like they interfered only on election day. Obama knew well before November and waited to see the election results until he slapped sanctions or called the Russians out. He let 30+ known Russian spies operate in the US during campaign and then expelled after Hilary lost. Unreal.
  2. What would be the crime committed if he did “talk materially about sanctions” on the transcript?
  3. Good point. Probably doesn't have anything to do with the social distancing in between seats in the audience.
  4. Looks like we will probably get to read the Flynn/Kislyak transcripts. Richard Grenell has declassified a new batch of Russia probe documents on his way out as acting director of national intelligence, leaving the decision on whether to make those files public up to newly sworn-in Director John Ratcliffe. The documents include transcripts of phone calls that then-incoming National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak had in December 2016, during the presidential transition period. Grenell said publicly last week that he was in the process of declassifying those files, after House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., asked that he do so.
  5. Go back and read post #28. Breathe a few times, comprehend, and then come back. It’ll be fine.
  6. What am I responding to? The judge was paid to go into an election booth and voted over an over again for a candidate. What am I missing?
  7. See post #28 and take a few seconds to see what was being responded to. Then check back in.
  8. I think we need to start early voting options in this country instead of making 100% of the country show up on only one day to vote.
  9. PM this Democrat and ask how he did it. After stuffing ballots, Demuro then used his authority as an elections judge to certify the fraudulent election results, according to his indictment, which was unsealed Thursday. (RELATED: RNC SURVEY: Majority Of Voters Believe Mail-In Ballots Cause Election Fraud) Demuro “served as a Committee Person for the Democratic Party and the Democratic Chairman of Ward 39a in the City of Philadelphia,” according to the indictment. “Demuro fraudulently stuffed the ballot box by literally standing in a voting booth and voting over and over, as fast as he could, while he thought the coast was clear. This is utterly reprehensible conduct,” U.S. Attorney William McSwain said in a Justice Department press release Thursday. https://dailycaller.com/2020/05/21/philadelphia-elections-judge-pleads-guilty-election-fraud/
  10. Meanwhile, in Philadelphia... A former Philadelphia judge of elections pleaded guilty in federal court to stuffing ballots in return for bribes during primary elections between 2014 and 2016. Domenick Demuro, 73, admitted during a sealed proceeding in March to using his position as an elections judge, which granted him the responsibility of overseeing the entire election process in his jurisdiction, to add fraudulent votes for politicians supported by an unidentified political consultant who had paid him bribes ranging from $300 to $5,000 per election. https://dailycaller.com/2020/05/21/philadelphia-elections-judge-pleads-guilty-election-fraud/
  11. After she lost to Trump, her biggest mistake was not continuing to push hard on the Clinton Foundation. This was her best opportunity to show what she really wanted to be about. It also played into the hand of those who say her foundation was only successful due to the access it provided to her in her current/potential government position(s). Bill and her have all the time in the world to dedicate to this full-time now, but have let it atrophy. I have to think if they both tried harder at it, they could be raising more and doing more good with the money. Cash flow to the Clinton Foundation continues to plummet, leaving the organization in the red for a second straight year after Hillary Clinton’s unsuccessful bid against President Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, newly released tax returns reveal. The Clinton Foundation’s $30.7 million revenue last year is less than half the $62.9 million it raised in 2016 as Clinton was at the height of her presidential campaign. Each of the two years since Clinton’s loss in the 2016 election has seen the organization’s revenue drop to record lows, raising less than any fiscal year in more than a decade — a sharp contrast to the $249 million raised during Clinton’s first year as secretary of state. The foundation received less money from fundraising events and its service programs last year compared to previous years but kept investing tens of millions in the programs. Paid speeches accounted for $369,899 of the foundation’s intake, a mild uptick from the $297,976 it received in 2017 but a huge drop from $3.6 million in 2014. The foundation continued to chip away at its savings, burning more cash than it raised in 2018. With revenue of $30.7 million, it spent $47.5 million last year on payroll, grants and promotion, among other items. It also scaled back spending on domestic grants and foreign activities compared to the prior year, but spent more in 2018 on advertising, promotions and fundraising efforts.
  12. Fair enough. The WaPo article that broke the leak was also an opinion piece from David Ignatius. Are you ok with him? According to a senior U.S. government official, Flynn phoned Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak several times on Dec. 29, the day the Obama administration announced the expulsion of 35 Russian officials as well as other measures in retaliation for the hacking. What did Flynn say, and did it undercut the U.S. sanctions? The Logan Act (though never enforced) bars U.S. citizens from correspondence intending to influence a foreign government about “disputes” with the United States. Was its spirit violated? The Trump campaign didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
  13. WaPo seems to disagree. They say it is certainly someone from Obama admin. But this much is certain: Obama administration officials leaked unmasked intelligence about Flynn to the press. The fact that those individuals have gone unpunished for three years, while Flynn has endured a legal hell, is appalling.
  14. A crime was committed, 100%. Leaking Flynn’s name to the media is a crime. It should be investigated and the responsible party should be prosecuted.
  15. When do you think people will catch on start to riot over the fact that California and New York have the same number of senators as Wyoming or Alabama?
  16. See General Cartwright. He ended up getting convicted and the pardoned right after. Personally, I’d like to see Flynn trial go forward. The FBI agents and their documentation, should be in front of a cross examination. It is bullshit that we don’t get to see this in court. Hey should deposed and put under oath to answer questions.
  17. Does anyone on here think that Trump should have done what Obama did for General Cartwright when he lied to the FBI? Let General Flynn get charged/convicted and then pardon right after? Or is the situation totally different based on what information was found in the FBI notes/files that were recently made public.
  18. Austin Wood arm was ragged out by then. Bad 6th inning.
  19. Preston Clark with a hell of an AB in the 3rd inning.
  20. What is the risk at this point? LHF says they will reimburse tickets and donation if no season/games. No?
  21. Got this: While we are doing everything we can to ensure we safely have a football season in the fall and looking forward to that, rest assured that should the season get cancelled, or significantly altered, we will make an exception to our standard no-refund policy. Season ticket holders will have the choice to have their investment (ticket and seat-gift) returned or converted into a charitable contribution to the Longhorn Foundation.
  22. He has Coronavirus, right? Isn’t Emory basically an extension of the CDC? Makes sense to me.
  23. I think there are multiple issues in play with initial testing strategy. - The supply will certainly be limited. Going from 0 supply produced to millions in a few days is not easy. Especially with the quality control needed to get something this serious, “right”. Only doing the test at concentrated locations will improve efficiency. - Putting the testing in locations that can have biggest impact. These 6800/8800 are big, expensive instruments. Connecting them to an IT system, to report back to as many ordering locations as possible to report data, etc... is already in place for Labcorp, Quest, etc... Not at every hospital lab in country. - Having fewer locations to amass the data and send to CDC, etc... will help the experts watch the trends, quality, various strand origins, etc... The testing is a game changer. Next is vaccine and/or treatment (think Tamiflu). Once all 3 are in place, we are back to normal managing this like many of other medical issues.
