  1. Some horrible calls against us in this game. We should probably also keep giving the ball to the guy named Disu.
  2. RT is too worried about fouls sometimes. Shedrick and Disu only played a combined 14 minutes because both have 2 fouls. Sometimes you just have to tell your guys to be smart and not foul. He essentially fouls players out by himself by benching them for long periods during the 1st half.
  3. Rightfully benched to end the first half. Maybe that sends a message.
  4. Abmas is a volume shooter but at times he almost has to be because Hunter just completely disappears in games.
  5. We probably have the best middle distance team in the country. Throw in Neugebauer and that gives you a very good baseline for scoring at the NCAA championships. It would not surprise me if this team doesn't win the Big 12 championship and then wins a national title. That's very much in play with this roster.
  6. I think we have a shot at a national title this year on the men's side. It's a weirdly constructed team in that we don't have many dominant sprinters but we can get big points out of the other events. We won the indoor national title with only 47 points in '22 and I think the scoring will be even more spread out this year. If they can find a way to get to 35 points a national title might be in reach.
  7. They went on that run beating Iowa, USC, Providence, and Arkansas so everyone thought they were good. Turns out none of those teams are any good.
  8. Cal seems like a terrible situational coach. Two times there Kentucky had a chance to foul Radford who was 3/9 from the FT line. Instead, they fouled a 90% FT shooter. Also, the turnover at the end of regulation made no sense. I have no clue why they were willingly passing the ball to wing/bigs instead of just keeping it in the guards hands until 4 or 5 seconds.
  9. I will say it's a jumbled mess. UCONN (when healthy) looks like the only dominant team. It's pretty damn difficult figuring out the top 10 teams. Either way, should make for a fun time in March.
  10. Kentucky will be an interesting team in the tournament. Those guards can really score and are capable of going off on anyone. At the same time, they play no defense and seem pretty soft. I'm thankful Tre Mitchell is no longer here.
  11. Tre Mitchell getting abused on the boards. I've seen this before.
  12. Well, I would say he's a pretty good reflection of this Kentucky team. Has some offensive game but doesn't play much defense.
  13. Kentucky will be a pick for an early upset in the tournament based on how they defend. They play zero defense.
  14. This feels like a bad match up for Kentucky with all the young guys. aggy isn't very good but they are physical and tough. Not a good mix against a team with a bunch of young players.
  15. That wouldn't have counted either way. It was after the buzzer.
  16. What balls from the kid. Damn, both were pure too.
  17. Great shooter at the line but a FR. Talk about pressure.
  18. This game is wild. Shepperd almost nailed that too. It was half way down.
  19. Yikes, what are you doing Kentucky? Why would you even take the ball out of your guards hands there? Get it under 10 and then attack with the guards.
  20. They also need to pray to the basketball gods. Some of these injuries are just bad luck.
  21. This is a weird Kentucky team. Legit offensively but don't play any defense. Hasn't it been almost the complete opposite under Cal?
  22. That's the biggest key moving forward. Only thing holding this program back is all the injuries.
  23. Gaston wasn't able to put any weight on her foot. We're likely going to be without for a few games now.
  24. That did not look good at all for Gaston. This team is absolutely snake bitten by injuries.
  25. The issue when Booker goes to the bench is we don't have any ball handlers with Harmon out.
