  1. If only she had made Jesus her copilot.
  2. Universal health care? Or pipe?
  3. It's been a while (early 2000s) since I've been to Dauphin Island, but it was pretty rural at the time. So if you're looking to escape crowds, it's a good place to be. But if you're looking to escape crowds, why are you going anywhere on the Gulf Coast during Spring Break?
  4. Just finished the last episode. Fantastic series. "Is Ginsburg named after Allen or Ruth Bader?" "We'll let him decide when he is 21."
  5. One of my favorite Arrested Development lines: "You're married to Carl Weathers? Oh shit."
  6. Watched the first episode last night and laughed out loud several times. I'm definitely in. I love the Space Ghost vibe as the cartoon interviews real-life people. "I once got an erection while reading Plato's The Republic."
  7. Nevermind, it's working now. Not sure what the problem was.
  8. Is Peacock down for everyone else? I tried to log in, but it says there's an error loading.
  9. Iamaleava Tennessee after the sanctions hit.
  10. I haven't seen all the nominees, but American Fiction is the best movie I've seen this year. Definitely better than Oppenheimer or KOTFM.
  11. WTF Pelosi?!? This pisses me off. It's possible to have some serious moral qualms about the slaughter of innocent Palestinians without being on Putin's payroll.
  12. Definitely finish it. It's a classic. My wife asked me why I was reading it and my response was "Imagine Leslie Knope, but evil".
  13. Or you could just shake it off, shake it off.
  14. Completely disagree. If Texas in August, aka Hell, freezes over, then that'll mean that A&M has finally won a championship.
  15. This. I'm gonna whip up a gumbo omelet when the Niners and Lions get to halftime.
  16. Yes, Scott, the reason women won't sleep with you is because they are too consumed with thinking about DEI and open borders. You've solved the mystery.
  17. This is what my dad did and it worked great. He was a chemical engineer his whole career. The last five years he was working full-time he started conducting training for new engineers and really enjoyed it, but it was only about 20% of his job load. When he retired, he became a consultant and just did those trainings. Now he does it once or twice a month or whenever he feels like it. So he gets to do the enjoyable part of his job without all the other BS that goes with it.
