  1. That’s right JD, this is definitely not your parents Vanderbilt. This team is meaner, tougher, grittier, more athletic and smarter than anything ever before. This team is built to win! Just look at how they blew out Ball State by 10 points on their home field. And just look at how they handled 0-4 Sun Belt powerhouse Georgia State. That too woulda been a total blowout, but they just ran out of time.
  2. I's say 10-3 was pretty fucking good considering everything Texas lost. And Colt's passing far exceeded expectations.
  3. It's more a reflection of how many close games you've been in. If 1 play constantly makes that high of am impact, you're in a lot of close games. Texas has had only 1 close game so it makes since Texas would be near the axis.
  4. And Texas got it done with RS Fresh Colt McCoy. Some people just have IT. I got berated once for saying Quinn doesn't have good football intuition. Maybe I was right. But it's possible for 2 things to be true and Quinn and the OL both sucked ass. The OL was directly responsible for 2 of the fumbles and giving up 2 TO's means you sucked regardless of Quinn's decision making. Arch couldn't do anything either. I'm not sure any Texas QB's over the last 25 years not named Vince or Colt coulda won that game for Texas. Maybe Sam.
  5. Is that Tennessee score and comment a joke or something? I'm not sure I get it.
  6. I don't even have a twitter account so I wouldn't have seen that, I didn't click on it to see all the text. A friend of mine posted it elsewhere and I copied the url and pasted here. He's more liberal than me. I also don't have the time to research and find out what everyone's motivation is. Have a cow why don't you!! Personally, when I see someone else do something like that I just move on. I don't have to attack people and make them feel bad to make myself feel superior.
  7. That's a bizarre question. I only posted a contractors experience and why he won't be coming back. I don't know why it would be political and why anyone would try to make it political. Why does everything have to be political?
  8. 🤣 Keep posting your drivel I won't read 1 word of. Love It!
  9. Next time it's going to be worse. Houston isn't getting any out of state help.
  10. Thousands of whites get murdered by the police every year. Just ask Daniel Shaver and Tony Timpa. I don't see it as a race issue. I see it as the type of officer they get when high school losers who can't make a C in Algebra 1 seeking power are out to get their revenge because they can't earn any. When a person has been rejected their whole life they flock to something that turns the table and being a cop is about the only solution. People like that can't be put in a position with that much power until they've proven they prove they're mature enough not to abuse it. Big changes need to be made in hiring and training. There's a long long way to go before we get anywhere close to that. But I also hate the bullies that make people that way even more. From what I experienced in Europe, Cops are very very different than the US. Their culture is different too. And Brisket, you could be right, I dunno, I read 3 articles before I posted and none had anything about that long criminal history.
  11. I have more evidence that one can imagine, but I've chosen not to waste my time with you.
  12. 1000 ICE fires release less poisonous toxins than 1 EV fire, including cyanide. And there's no way Houston will be able to power 5 million EV's in the next 25 years.
  13. Like I said! Protestors demand answers after Sonya Massey killed by Springfield-area deputies (sj-r.com)
  14. I always thought she was an aggie hearing the Texas to the SEC announcement.
  15. BS. Some famous person once said it ain't over until it's over. In 4 mos this shooting won't be headline news anymore. Polls are still close and we control Dominion and the ballots.
  16. He was kicked out of his HS shooting class he was so bad. If you either want an assassination or you want to hit an ear at 150 yards and miss a head there's no way in hell you chose this guy. Oswald was a trained military marksman and top of his class. These 2 were on different planets on skill level.
  17. The question I have is, "why wasn't the SS watching or on every roof top even close to the stage"? That seems like SOP for any current or ex-president. What if they had done that poor of a job for Biden? I think we all would be a lot more pissed.
  18. Unbelievable and absolutely unacceptable. I know people still w/o power. Abbott, Paxton and Patrick should be making some serious threats to Centerpoint. I shoulda bought Gererac stock last week.
  19. The media certainly is, and on crack too.
  20. Just quoting news sources, obviously CNN is wrong, probably father, but why do they keep saying he was a registered Republican, but donated to Democratic PAC's?
  21. I don't put too much past Dotard, but neither CNN or MSNBC are even suggesting it was staged. If they had suspicions they would mention it. And even a slightly off shot Dotard is dead. 3 others shot and 1 dead certainly doesn't suggest staged. CNN just said Crooks is a registered Republican, but he donated to democratic PAC's and voted for Hillary and Joe. That's kinda strange.
  22. You didn't read far enough. Tesla has not eliminated cobalt. "Metals used in lithium-ion EV batteries such as nickel, lithium, and cobalt are known to cause a variety of ailments, from cancer to nerve damage. And yet the extent of the risks posed by handling these materials is just beginning to come into focus." Cobalt has not been phased out YET. I've had my share of inorganic chemistry courses. These metals are extremely carcinogenic. And Tesla is using Li from countries that put their people in horrific conditions. And don't know how people support Musk and what Tesla is doing. Lithium-ion batteries need to be greener and more ethical (nature.com) While I certainly agree greenhouse gases need to be eliminated, I don't know how coal burning electric powerplants used to charge EV's are doing that. There are a whole lot of things that have to happen before EV's make environmental sense, including SMR's or other safe energy sources, and we are far from being there. AT THIS POINT IN TIME, hybrids make sense. EV's do not, until battery and other technologies advance. Centerpoint can't keep Houston powered, how are going to power EV's?
  23. Maybe, but the toxins in Lithium Ion batteries certainly isn't. And the toxins released into the air when they burn is devastating to the environment. Along with it taking over 50x as much water to put it out as a conventional fire. EV Batteries’ Chemical Risks to US Workers Rising as Plants Grow (bloomberglaw.com) United Firefighters Union Australia warns governments to address lithium-ion battery fire risks during electric vehicle crashes - ABC News "Lithium-ion battery fires release toxins such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen cyanide, hydrogen fluoride and cobalt." I'm an environmentalist. I care deeply about what this is doing to our environment. I can't believe other environmentalists aren't all over it. Not to mention Li is being mined by slave labor in abhorrible conditions in 3rd world countries.
  24. The future doesn't look to bright as it once was for Tesla. At least until battery technology advances and they aren't as poisonous.
  25. Just remember, when you call the police there's about a 50-50 chance on the problem being better or the problem being a lot worse. As we have seen, there's a chance you or a family member may end up murdered by the police.
