  1. They did manage to go 4-1 in 2020 but the largest crowd they saw on the road was 22k at Tennessee so that year was devoid of any homefield advantages. In 2019 they were 1-3 on the road with Ole Miss being their only road win. In 2018 they were 1-3 again on the road with SCar being their only road win. Excluding the Covid year Jimbo is an amazing 3-13 in true road games since jumping to the ags in 2018. Through 2.5 years Sark is 5-6 on the road with a real chance to match Jimbos total of 7 wins by mid November.
  2. Their reasoning for giving Jimbo that contract was due to him reviving an old power that won multiple championships in the 90s before winning one himself in the 2010s. What if I told you there was another coach that brought a team who won multiple championships in the 90s back from the dead with a super bowl in 2015? Even better is this one is already an aggie.
  3. This would be the biggest dumpster fire and Sanders knows that. He currently controls his own destiny with the new big 12 lacking a blue blood. Winning 9+ next year would be his best bet to take over Bama or another high end job if it were to come open. Also he is at Colorado until Travis Hunter gets drafted, there is 0 chance he would leave him risk not getting a 2nd transfer in 2 years. Lanning has as good a job now and gets to use the B10 recruiting and money to his favor. Elko is a Penn grad who has spent all but his 4 years at a&m in the north or on the east coast. Michigan State fits his profile much more the aggies.
  4. Listened to some Texags radio and Billy on the Bama defense "This is the best defense in the conference, Georgia included. Texas only had 13 points entering the 4th while the aggies had 17 at half". Never a mention about Texas finishing with 34 and the aggies finishing with 20. That's the moral victory the ags needed to hang their hat on this year.
  5. But the clock never started. The play after this we ran the play clock down to 13 before the snap so it is evident during the Bowman timeout Sark had a discussion about running the clock down with QE and company. The refs failed to start the clock and we paid the price ultimately.
  6. OU scored 24 of their 34 points on the bookends of each half. 7 after an INT in plus territory on first possession 3 points to go to half 7 points coming out of half 7 points with 15 seconds left 3 of the other 10 were scored because of a running into the punter and dropped int in the end zone. Outside of the last drive PK and the defense gave us a chance to win. Nobody would have cared about OU scoring with 15 seconds left if we were up 10 like we should have been.
  7. 11-1 with all but one being 10+ point wins. Rematch in the B12 title game with a spot in the playoffs on the line.
  8. Also hate Calzada who has their biggest win in a decade. Tough life to be an aggy QB
  9. @ Tennessee, @ Ole Miss, and @ LSU should all be ranked matchups. 7-5 in year 6 upcoming
  10. RE emotion for this game. Here is a clip from the Brooks TD that tied the game. Quinn is about as calm as they come and showed this type of emotion as did others when big plays happened. If anybody can GIF this I would love to use it. @immamac

'01, '02, and '08 were all one score losses that kept us from winning the B12. That's as much luck as it is anything and Mack didn't have a whole lot of that as evidenced by being 1 play each season from going back to back in 08/09 and 3 in 5 seasons. What would Saban's narrative looked like if Colt doesn't get hurt in '09, Ok State doesn't get snubbed in '11, or tOSU gets to play ND instead of Bama in '12? He would have won 0 championships in his first 6 years if the stars didn't align so perfect.
  12. As for time remaining for OU to drive for a score, the officials made their biggest gaffe of the day when Worthy knocked Bowman out of the game. They took an officials timeout with 2:35 left but never restarted the clock once play was ready to resume saving OU a timeout and :30 seconds of game time. We all know Sark was ok with a field goal at this point so its fair to say we would have snapped the ball with around 2:05 left and either ran the same play for a sack or ran brooks up the middle. Venables didn't call a timeout 30 seconds after our 3rd down play which was an insane thing to do in its own right. So with 1:29 we run play 3 and get into FG range and kick with 1:22 left after the OU TO leaving 1:17 left. If the officials restart the clock with 2;35 left we could have been looking at taking the lead with around 48 seconds left instead of 1:17. Even with prevent defense this would have been a FG to tie at worst, sending the game to overtime if they were successful. If the game plays out the same with Official starting clock: 2:35 Bowman Hurt 2:05 Snap 1st down 1:58 Play concludes 1:28 Snap 2nd down 1:21 play concludes and Venables calls TO #2 at 1:00 1:00 Snap 3rd down :53 Play concludes and Venables calls TO #3 :53 Snap FG attempt :48 FG good NCAA rule in spoiler:
  13. We will be dissecting this set of downs until the rematch in Arlington but running the ball there accomplishes two things which I know have been talked about ad nauseum but alas 1. They were forced to use their last timeout and make the full length drive that much harder. Which did ended up being a moot point. 2. Auburn's career long was 49 yards against Rice this year and he was 3-6 coming into this game. This also moved the ball to the middle of the field to make a FG attempt easier. If Sark attempts a pass on 3rd and 9 and it goes incomplete then OU has one timeout remaining and it forces Auburn to hit a 51 yarder from the left hash. Worse case scenario is they bring pressure and QE has to take a sack and the FG attempt is 55+. If either a sack or incompletion forces an Auburn miss then Sark would be eviscerated here for making those calls. Even though I do think he should have thought more about going for it on 4th down.
  14. Mond is the all time leader in yards and TDs in a&m history as well as winning their biggest bowl game in 80 years. He deserves a statue.
  15. Herman made it through Red River with less than 2 losses exactly once just like Sark. Herman was 1-4 vs non con P5 teams and Sark is 1-2 currently with Arkansas being the only indefensible. With the Bama/Georgia wins canceling each other out I think they're in the same exact spot. Through their 3rd OU game which coaches trajectory feels/felt like it was trending correctly? For me that's Sark without a doubt.

The 5 times a B12 team has made the playoffs they've all had 1 loss. The only time a B12 champion has been left off was due to there not being a championship game in '14. That includes losses to 5-7 Texas, 7-5 ISU, 9-4 Texas, 8-4 KSU, and 10-3 KSU. If this OU team is as amazing as they're being made out to be here then 12-1 Texas gets a top 3 seed with 0 debate.
  17. This could be from 20 different Saturdays the past 6 years.
  18. This is the way. OU sold their soul for this win. Texas will win out but can OU?

We had 3 turnovers, twice the penalties/yardage and lost our starting center on the 2nd drive. Yet we were leading with a minute left and needed 1 play on either of the last two drives. These losses happen to everyone at some point in the college game.

They got every break imaginable from the very beginning. The fact that we had the lead with 1 minute shows this is just plain wrong. Play that game 100 times in a row and that's the only one we lose
  21. Terrible last play call by Sam there. Don't have the QB or WRs to pull that off regularly.
  22. NSIAP. The land thieves deserve an ass whooping that makes 49-0 look compassionate because of this picture alone. I would say the state of Oklahoma deserves better but blatant debauchery is right up their alley. Texas by 80.
  23. My comp for him has always been mahomes because of throws like this. His success at the next level will be dependent on where he ends up. Somebody like the Rams would be preferable if Stafford has a year or so left and McVay sticks around long term.
  24. Since getting back from injury in the RRS last year Quinn has now played a full season + bowl worth of games and is 10-3 while throwing for 3176/23/6 and adding another 6 TDs on the ground. If he keeps up his current rate this season and we reach the CCG he will finish around 3530/26/3 with 13 TDs on the ground. I am assuming the rushing TDs trend doesn't hold so it will likely get to 30+ TDs in the air and ~7 on the ground. Unless USC stumbles multiple times in the regular season the Heisman will belong to Caleb Williams again. Can Quinn get to NYC with a Big 12 title, 3500 yards and ~40 TDs, and 11+ wins?
