  1. My comp for him has always been mahomes because of throws like this. His success at the next level will be dependent on where he ends up. Somebody like the Rams would be preferable if Stafford has a year or so left and McVay sticks around long term.
  2. Since getting back from injury in the RRS last year Quinn has now played a full season + bowl worth of games and is 10-3 while throwing for 3176/23/6 and adding another 6 TDs on the ground. If he keeps up his current rate this season and we reach the CCG he will finish around 3530/26/3 with 13 TDs on the ground. I am assuming the rushing TDs trend doesn't hold so it will likely get to 30+ TDs in the air and ~7 on the ground. Unless USC stumbles multiple times in the regular season the Heisman will belong to Caleb Williams again. Can Quinn get to NYC with a Big 12 title, 3500 yards and ~40 TDs, and 11+ wins?
  3. Georgia Tech going the aggie route of mid day flow in the dark unis
  4. I believe they bought his norman house for 500k over list of 2.1 million.
  5. Not so sure about that. He got a double in his salary and gets to upgrade lifestyle. He is also on the record as not wanting to coach too long. USC would have been a no brainer for any coach regardless of conference affiliation.
  6. Was on a long drive today and ran out of pods so I listened to this all the way through. Listening to Billy talk medical is pretty painful but he said the SEC grind is to blame for the aggie QB injuries and not the OLine. No mention of Tech rolling through QBs or any other school with an atrocious line. Even though he never quite said it his theme was in line with "if the other teams lose their QB a&m has a great shot because Max would start for more than half the SEC". That's the only hope he's holding onto that this team doesn't go 7-5.
  7. Johnson on this aggie team will likely lose to every team that has a qb better than him. He's just not gonna be able to take over and make up for secondary/OLine deficiencies. Remaining games and QBs Arky- Jefferson > Max Bama- Milroe with open offense > Max Tenn- Milton = Max until he proves different Scar- Rattler > Max Ole Miss- Dart > Max Miss State - Rogers > Max but Miss is a mess ACU- lol Lsu- Daniel's >> Max They could go 5-7 in a blink. But 7-5/8-4 is most likely with the way things usually go for them.
  8. Manning will start next year. Arch for 2 years is the most optimal outcome for all. MM will look good somewhere else though.
  9. Banks will be the first Round 1 lineman in 20 years and hopefully the last line man to start from game 1 for another 20.
  10. That's the exact same way Quinn got hurt last year.
  11. Good insight. Being at 11 at Kyle is positive for Auburn though. They may have the biggest morning to night crowd disparity I have seen.
  12. The aggies will struggle with any P5 team that has above average talent since it will come down to coaching/execution. Until Petrino/Jimbo prove they can outscore what Durkin gives up then this is a toss up. Freeze is a big game coach and knows what this win would provide (media laughing at aggie tears do wonders) so i would expect him to come out prepared to take what Durkin gives him all day. They may not win but a FG game coming down to the last possession would be my guess.
  13. Assuming they didn't count the Cook drop when that graphic showed then QE is 54/79 for 68% (almost nice) completion percentage and ranked 30th in the country instead of in the 70s.
  14. Anthony Richardson just got drafted 4th overall after posting 17/9 TD/INT and 53% completion. Quinn will have a much better season and will be picked in the 1st round solely on his measurables.
  15. Aggy played ULM and NM. Who are literally among the worst G5 teams.
  16. Quinn is currently sitting at 204 passes in a row without a pick dating back to the TCU game. That's 6 games without a INT and a 63% completion percentage. The completion percentage should be higher but that's 50% his fault and 50% drops. He's had 3+ TDs in every game and just won at Alabama. Let's pump the brakes (again) on the Murphy talk.
  17. Either way it's not like he had some miserable day. With drops/pick six we only played like 2.5 quarters of offensive snaps. If Sark wanted to show out and throw for 400 the game plan would have been much different.
  18. Those last 2TDs were big for the score watching only voters
  19. Drops and that long Wyoming drive killed QEs production totals. He had an above average game all things considered. He made 2 bad throws one to Worthy and the Sanders end zone ball. It's also evident Sark was just trying to out athlete them and let his guys make plays instead of pushing it downfield all night. They won by 3 scores and didn't put a lick of creativity on film for the big 12. We'll see much more of out QE and Sark as league play starts next week.
  20. But Milroe still beat them last year with 3 turnovers so...
