  1. Possibly getting patched. I do miss his timely updates. And facts.
  2. the hitby site or was that just a ploy? interesting if true.
  3. haven't seen "Brisket" around for a bit, but then again, i do not know how to perform a user search.
  4. that is surprising. i wanna say there was a point when it was free to get in, then changed it to $5 a pop. don't recall any merchandise or drinks/food for sell. a lot of people skirted the fence too. college kids are cheap. fond memories.
  5. yup, ya got me. i'm outed. guess my argument is invalidated. the troll toll fee if you will.
  6. you know how many hobos i've had free sex with in those free bathrooms? they have showers too!
  7. i certainly don't give a shit if it's a great revenue stream, but i gurantee you it plays a role in the decision making process. there is upkeep you know. and believe is a strong word. environmental factors empossases a lot. i don't have the "fairly important" factors you're looking for other than humans are most often a detriment to nature when not actively seeking to improve it. just throwing the word "pool" out there seems a bit off in terms of the natural flow of things. i dunno. pass again.
  8. look i don't know shit, but fucking with the natural ecosystem can be a problem for the environment, not necessarily mankind. i'm speaking out of my ass here, but how long were the creeks and springs doing before human intervention? and I'm not discounting the fact that human could have made it worse and it is responsible to correct it with human intervention, or versa vice. i'm just not seeing valid arguments that take a holistic view of the environment man.... puff puff pass. environment is strong and adaptable without human intervention, but that's not to say we shouldn't intervene so long as the reasons aren't selfish to us species.
  9. what this guy said great tourist attraction? check great revenue stream? doubtful environmental factors to consider (not including humans swimming in contaminated waters) of messing up the natural flow? seems fairly important
  10. who's the guy giving the speech at the beginning? i see him in every game. he's basically tied to Herman's hip, especially when Herman is talking to the refs.
  11. i saw him on a delayed blitz up the middle. he laid the wood on Hurts but the ball still got out.
  12. Ok professor Macklin, you know a bunch. But if I were a drunk fan playing Roach/Coach, I would blow up the mesh point. At minimum, if a known team is shown to play ZR, I will have a man designated to blow up the QB (even if we're a gap assignment team) just to send a message. Doesn't matter who has the ball, hit someone. And if we're force to play gap integrity, hit someone in your gap irregardless of who has the ball (in ZR). Quite frankly, I don't know why this doesn't happen more in college FB -- it's as if the defenders are waiting until the handoff/keep to make a decision. Drunk fan says F that noise.
  13. this is a fundamental concept in pro-spread. then again, i could just be blowing smoke up your ass.
  14. Assuming Roach has responsibility for the QB (big assumption here), he should at minimum chip the RB in pursuit of the QB. At least, that's how I'd coach it. It's like our players don't know we can hit the QB AND RB on a ZR (though Hager did against ND). It doesn't matter who has the ball, you can hit both players on a ZR.
  15. our red zone D was pretty efficient today, aside from the last TD. it's like we're willing to let teams get to the red zone and then we pull out all the stops. it seems we put a premium on red zone stops, being content with allowing teams to settle for a FG on pretty much every drive.
  16. i'm not disagreeing. they could be more consistent. keep in mind, we've had a few targeting calls reversed (see BJ @ WVU) in previous games for similar things. CeeDee Lamb did a jump cut into a slide. that's very difficult to back out of if you're Roach, when you're expecting him to make a cut. a jump cut. into a slide. how does a defender not commit to the jump cut? once again, given the current rules, i think it was the right call but super difficult for defenders in this day and age.
  17. sometimes defenders are committed to making a tackle. it's very difficult to back out of. kind of like being in the middle of a yellow light and barely running it because you've already committed to the intersection. given the current rules, that was the right call on Roach but I definitely feel for him. as far as leading with the crown of your helmet, that's pretty much what happens when you dive for a tackle down low. physics and shit - can't keep your head up when diving down low. difficult time for defenders. if i had to complain about the refs, it would be for inconsistency on PI. the only way our offense had a chance to move the ball was by taking a chance downfield. our first two passes downfield (one to Jake, the other to Brennan) appeared to be PI but it wasn't called. Jake had one of his arms low barred while Brennan had a guy run into him before the ball was touched - the ball was under thrown but that's irrelevant to PI afaik.
  18. would like to know the same. pretty sure he's number 10 in the black jersey below. not sure why he's wearing black and roster shows he's number 14. if he's practicing, that's gotta mean something, right?
  19. Pretty sure Herman said that will re-assess Floyd in January. Not sure why they have to wait, but then again, I'm no doctor.
  20. It's not very often you see an underclassman walk-on receive a scholarship. Nice job, Luke. He showed up a number of times in the offseason "championship" contests. Wouldn't be surprised to see Sam's brother in the same position next year. Hook 'em!
