Apple's feed is so much better. I'm pretty sure the current feed is a toddler with an ipad.

This was Shaffer Bend early March. There is water to float on and there are areas to easily wade across.
  5. A couple other articles: Goodbye to a Writer - Mimi Swartz In Remembrance of Inimitable Texas Writer John Nova Lomax - Joe Nick Patoski
  6. Really looking forward to the series finale. Looks like it's going to be 90 minutes long. Every episode this season has covered a single day. I can't imagine how they can wrap the series up with just covering the day after the funeral.
  7. Malcom Reed sells barbecue rubs and barbecue sauces, so its no surprise that his videos feature heavy use of both. I find him entertaining and informative - especially on cooking pork. I have followed his guidance with mojo pork chops and pork belly burnt ends. ETA: There is nothing Texas BBQ about Malcom Reed.
  8. That doesn't seem possible. The snake is stretched out and not coiled - I don't see how it could jump up in the air and lunge.
  9. Reading all of the posts in the MAC thread reminds me to be very thankful for all of y'all. I remember MAC showing up on this thread in January 2019 after putting down the bottle. I remember that because that was the same time as my first day of sobriety. With the assistance of this thread, I have made it this far with out relapse. MAC wasn't able to make it - I'm glad he is no longer tortured with the stress, anxiety, and obsession.
  10. Latest update: After a long hard fight in which he defied all doctor's predictions, John Nova Lomax passed away peacefully early this morning with his former wife, at his side. He was in no pain at the end and slipped peacefully away to another realm. Again, thanks so very much to all 400+ people who helped keep him going this long. Back with news as we figure out next steps.
  11. Wasn't as bad as I expected. Easier to enjoy by not trying to compare to the original.
  12. I would hate it if they pinned the murder on Couseneau. The whole brainstorming of how to keep the women from experiencing the next killing spree was hilarious.
  13. I have a GMG Davy Crocket that weighs less than 70#. Won't fit a bunch of food, but it is big enough for ribs or pork butts. I think the newer version is called a Trek.
  14. This is a good first step. Run the a/c and then pull the caps off of the high and low pressure values. If there is moisture in the caps, you need to have the valves replaced. I installed a cut-off valve for the heater hose in my truck. It takes longer to cool the cab if you have hot water running through the cab in the summer.* *ETA - your truck is likely not 54 years old, so you might not want to start messing with the heater hose system.

I was impressed with his play last night as well. It feels like Josh Wolff is getting the pieces in place to run the formation he wants. I'm liking the three CB with the defensive wings pushed way up. I'm looking forward to a game with Driussi and Fagu back and at full speed. Cautiously optimistic.

His crosses have been excellent. I am extremely pleased with that acquisition.

Season ticket holders bought their tickets a year ago. I don't what percentage are season ticket holders. Certainly helps the sell out numbers when season ticket holders renew at a 95% rate and two years on the waitlist.
  19. Ended with with 3-days for W2. I wanted to catch Die Spitz on W1, but the all of the family and friends got W2.
  20. That was the way to go. The wife and drove to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon in '98. Left Austin, drove to Albuquerque and found a Motel 6 on the other side of town. Drove to Flagstaff and, much to the wife's chagrin, I chose a motel on Route 66 with a flashing neon Indian. Retrofitted with an a/c unit that blew right into a wall.
  21. All that work and no picture?
  22. My wife and I put one together. It took 36 man hours - only a couple of times did we have to undo something for failure to follow the directions
  23. We have a two car garage with side-by-side single car garage doors. The idea of straight in and straight out just does not compute. When I get in my wife's 4runner that she has parked in the garage -
  24. The fact that people have no concept of actual, paper maps is absurd.
  25. That's nice of her to take you to the park to swing. Doesn't look like she is watching you very closely, though.
