  1. Watched a movie called Tik TIk Boom based on a recommendation. Didnt know anything about it and thought it was excellent. Stars Andrew Garfield and directed by Lin Manuel Miranda. Just letting you know it is a musical similar to La La Land, so if thats not you bag you may want to avoid it. I only know Garfield as the worst Spiderman, but after his performance in this you can tell he is really talented.
  2. Damn I should have gone with my ALF so no one would figure it out.
  3. Knight's Tale is greatness. That is a stop down for me any time it is on. No way you should feel shame.
  4. Just coming to post this one as well. Such a great scene.
  5. RIP Richard Lewis. Todd Snider is 57 and he doesnt look much better.
  6. WKRP surprisingly holds up. The turkey drop episode was good too.
  7. Gordo's IT call to the wife was hysterical, that hits close to home.
  8. I was a Westfield Mustang, played for Emory Bellard graduated in 90. When were you at Spring?
  9. Christopher Walken hearing everyone's fake Christopher Walken was great. I guarantee he has to deal with that on a daily basis.
  10. We are taking a fairy from Mallaig. We will be renting a car and driving from there. it looks fun, and he is the most excited about playing this course than anything. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions,Ill post pics from the road.
  11. Son just graduated Clemson and is going to Europe for a couple months before the real world starts. I am meeting him in Scotland in January. The plan is to fly into Edinburg on Friday and rent a car to head straight to St. Andrews. Spend Saturday in St. Andrews and on Sunday walk the Old Course and then leave. The plan is to go to Inverness for a couple days. Do a Whisky tour from Inverness and then head to Isle of Sky, hike old man Storr and the fairy pools. My son is a golf whore, so he found a course he wants to play on the Outer Hebrides called Askernish. Then we plan to spend the night in Glencoe and finish for a couple of days in Edinburgh. Anything i am missing? Is three days in Inverness too much? Am I spreading ourselves too thin? Is Glencoe worth more than a day ? Any Food/Bar recs. I’ve made a list of some of the places mentioned here. Thanks in advance.
  12. He was also an accomplished acting coach. He made Tobias Funke who he is. RIP
  13. Looks like we will be seeing a lot more of these. Itkin and Arnold just won $2.5 Billion in a Round-Up lawsuit (link below). Even if I disagree with the litigation, hopefully they put a little into the TOF. https://www.inquirer.com/news/philadelphia/roundup-philadelphia-verdict-monsanto-bayer-jury-20240129.html
  14. Gen X here, born in 72 graduated high school in 90. I agree that Breakfast Club is probably the defining HS movie, but when I watch it now, I root for the adults. Those kids deserved to lose one Saturday for detention. If my son duct taped some kids butt cheeks together he probably would have been in detention for the rest of the year. And, they would have come back the nest week and write another paper if they thought they could get away with forcing the nerdy kid to write one for everybody. Favorite HS movie was Say Anything. Still holds up.
  15. https://breakingt.com/products/texas-football-tvondre-sweat-pose?gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIo-Lm6MLYgwMVsSzUAR1WdQG9EAAYASAAEgJ8gfD_BwE Edit Someone beat me to it.
  16. Got this for the wife. This happened right in front of us at the Big 12 Championship. She loved it.
  17. I graduated from Westfield in 1990. Not sure when those guys would have, but the names dont ring a bell.
  18. Octavious went to my hgh school (Spring Westfield). He was a freshman when I was a senior. Really sweet kid, I was happy to see he got his doctorate and found success after college. I think the story was he couldn't read when he got to high school. The coach at the time was Emory Bellard and he helped him out as a freshman.
  19. Wedding Crashers, after they get kicked out of Christopher Walken's mansion it turns into a love story/less funny movie.
  20. I agree. Like the briefcase in Pulp Fiction. We may never know. Biggest question for me is the familial relationship.
  21. Finished watching this last week. Didn't want to spoil it, so stayed away from this thread until today. Not much to add, this was such a great show from start to finish and the acting was incredible. I was wondering how everyone was related. I know Fak and Ritchie were friends of the Berzattos, and Ritchie was basically raised by them. Is uncle Jimmy a real uncle and was it Jamie Lee Curtis's brother? It seemed like he would be the dad's brother if it was a biological relation. I know Mulaney and Paulson were married, but was Paulson another Aunt or cousin of Carm/Mikey/Sug? Unless i missed it, i don't think it was mentioned why Ritchie's wife left him and what happened to the dad.
