  1. I feel like that family can't keep up with the Joneses anymore. They probably have the most valuable franchise, but the NBA has become a billionaire boys club.
  2. I don’t understand but that’s ok. We can move on.
  3. Probably closer to us defending Dirk in 2005-2006 after a finals failure. You twisted your brain hard to miss that analogy.
  4. My point remains.
  5. I would have thought the best offensive player in the NBA possibly being overweight and drinking beer would have made him a Surly Cult Hero.
  6. Uhhhhh. That’s definitely a “they,” buddy.
  7. Fair enough but I didn’t wish an injury on him.
  8. I don’t know. Pam almost went nuclear on me because I made a Wemby plantar faciitus joke.
  9. I only responded to your uniformed observation of his offensive game, but this is a great response because it allows you to sneak out the back door unnoticed. Well played.
  10. I almost posted the same thing. Also, Harden's foul hunting was an organizational philosophy at the time. Luka's offensive philosophy is diagnosing the defense and then getting his teammates wide open looks. https://x.com/JADubin5/status/1758495366696120495
  11. It's really not.
  12. I appreciated your civility.
  13. Both can be true.
  14. You guys don't have to be so humorless. It's a joke.
  15. Behavior like this only makes it more likely. You guys have a lot more love to give the universe before you get to take again.
  16. I don't wish this for him, but if Spurs fans think they've repaid the universe for all of their good fortune during the early 2000s, they're mistaken.
  17. He's one of the best offensive players I've ever seen at 25. He's only going to get better which is insane because like you just said... he just took his team to the finals after defeating a stacked Western Conference.
  18. Wemby is going to start getting lots of lower leg injuries in the coming years. Better win next year.
  19. He was in shape til april. He hasn't been able to stay in shape for the past two months because he's been trying to get healthy enough to just take the court. Luka is 24. If his career "plateaus" at this level, he'll retire as the NBA's all time scoring leader, first ballot hall of famer, and top 20 player of all-time. That being said, if the Mavs can put another creator around him and Kyrie, I hope he takes the time to rest his legs, stay fresh, and stay healthy.
  20. Luka is so good. Keep building around him and the championship will come. Great season. Go Mavs!
  21. I hope the outcome of the series hinges on Tingus Pingus. I know he’s reformed but I still think there is a weak minded player inside. When I saw the stat about Lively having more playoff experience, I was like “yeah, Porzingis is a concept, not a player that has ever actually helped a team win a series.” I mean his team swept their way to the finals WITHOUT him.
  22. They need The Dude to go along with their dudes.
  23. Last night didn't seem too bad. The first half of game one was pretty silly. He had 11 free throws in the half I think. I think what REALLY irks Mavs fans is that Dort is playing like a middle linebacker on Luka on every possession. If things were called the same Dort would foul out midway through the second quarter.
  24. Are they moving to the East next year?
  25. Just saw this. Yeah, no poker face this morning.
