  1. At least Mack admitted to letting “all of the bb’s out of the box” at the end of his tenure at Texas.
  2. “Blinn College has an acceptance rate of 100 percent and an undergraduate population of about 9,000 students.”
  3. Had to look “Calumny” up. Thanks for the new word Graham!
  4. I just saw the regular season final standings and Minn was 3 games better than GB. So I probably erred saying GB is the better team.
  5. Surprisingly, Kyle’s gig working for some Texas gun lobby didn’t last and now he works at a gun shop in Florida.
  6. Well at least he didn’t break the Aggie honor code.
  7. Bond has now been posted at $750 each for the two charges. He should be out of the pokey soon?
  8. Graham’s rankings are: 1. Georgia 2. Tennessee 3. A&M 4. Alabama 5. Ole Miss 6. South Carolina 7. Texas etc.
  9. I seem to recall that the Karen responded on a social media post of the video that she was the Karen and that she deserved the response and learned her lesson, or something like that.
  10. His legacy has been ruined. He would have eventually been inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame and into the Longhorn Hall of Honor. Not to mention losing future business opportunities in Baltimore and Texas. Sad
  11. I’ve never seen a group of fluffers use the term “The future is bright” more than aggie.
  12. My god, they truly are the biggest crybabies in college sports. The Texags host personally whining to the SEC broadcaster about every perceived slight of the broadcast was embarrassing. But the aggie faithful just lap that shit up. They don’t realize, however, that they continue to look like idiots to the media. I mean, bitching about a broadcast on a fan message board is one thing; everyone does that including us. But grilling your weekly guest about every single thing he said during the broadcast you didn’t like is not a good look to the media that you are demanding respect from. And they wonder why they don’t have the cachet that UT has. I hope they never change, and they won’t.
  13. Pattaya… https://www.reddit.com/r/ThailandTourism/s/2YT1TZw2of
  14. Well actually, I’m not much of a beach vacation guy, I just know about Pattaya’s reputation as having a nasty, trashy beach; but close to the Mecca for Thai whores. My brother’s best friend married a Thai gal and he lived there off and on for a couple of years, some of his time near a beach. They went on a beach vacation, pictures looked awesome. I’ll get some details tomorrow and let you know. Watch out renting jet skis at Thailand’s beaches. I hear it’s one of their major scams.
  15. Mr. Tough Guy…
  16. “Y’all need to call more audibles for the screen to the sideline!”
  17. I’m done. The first football game I remember watching was Super Bowl VI in 1972 when the Cowboys beat the Dolphins. Roger Staubach, Drew Pearson, Bob Lilly and Tom Landry were my boyhood idols. I remember my Dad disavowing the Cowboys after the way Jerry fired Landry. I knew there needed to be a change, so I wasn’t as unforgiving as Dad. The three Super Bowl victories in the ‘90s validated me sticking by them, although I started having doubts when Switzer was hired. Five or Six years ago I became an ambivalent fan. I vowed not to give Jerry another dime, refused to go to a game even if someone else was paying. I was ok with the Cowboys winning or losing. If they won, it was good because I was a fan. If the lost, I was okay with that too because I knew it probably upset Jerry. Now, I will actively root against Dallas until the Jones’s are no longer part of the team. I realize this is probably a lifelong decision for me, but whatever.
  18. Stupid question, but when the USS JFK gets to the tip of mainland Florida, will it continue to hug the coast of the Gulf or make a direct beeline to Brownsville?
  19. Reminds me of a beer joint in Wichita Falls named Frank’s Eight-Ball Lounge. Frank, the owner, was a WWII aviator who also played the trumpet. Frequented this place a lot as a UT student in the 80’s when I came back home to visit. Place had a jukebox that played Sinatra, Glenn Miller, The Letterman, etc. It was guaranteed that as the night progressed and patrons and Frank imbibed, he would play the trumpet at the end of Bobby Vinton’s “Blue Velvet”. The crowd loved it. Anyway, we almost always put a quarter in the jukebox for this song. @Armybrat, this one’s for you.
  20. This thread was a poi idea.
  21. The legend, the man, the ho.
