Sark's failure at Florida is really killing us, goddamn.
edit: lol @The_Great_Hornsby do you disagree with that assessment? But for getting our peepees whacked by Florida, and slamming our dicks in the door at Kentucky and Mud Aggy, we would be in the CFP.
IMO I doubt he could do at Texas what he did at Indiana. There's too many cooks in the kitchen at Texas, and too much money and interest to make incredible transformations like we see at IU possible at Texas.
And JMU is in because of a really strange quirk - they aren't one of the 12 best teams in the country, they're just uniquely positioned to benefit from the structure of the CFP selection criteria. In a way, Texas choosing the hard road in going to the SEC and scheduling tough OOC opponents is going to make for conditions for a good team but also give us a harder road than everyone else to get to the playoff.
a Manny _iaz coached team making a big defensive play?
also, congrats to James Madison lmfao. Please go and get steamrolled to show how much of a bad system this is
gotta say, Fox News putting out a bunch of Christmas shit about "the first Christmas" while cheering on Bethlehem being flattened is some top-shelf dark humor
It's not getting punished for losing a game - it's getting punished for looking like roadkill and having negative rushing yards right before the playoff
