Everyone protected the football, except for one fumble that “got treated like a school ID.”
Wtf is this supposed to mean?

Several of these will drastically affect Georgia's defense, if enforced--abrupt pre-snap shifts and defensive signals intended to draw the offense offsides.

Not that I defend a Sooner with any regularity. But if the screenshots of Mateer's payments are true, and they really had the tag "Sports Gambling" attached to them, I can see that as a really poor attempt at humor, and not evidence of illegal sports betting. Or, he's one of the dumbest mother fucking gamblers to have ever been awarded an athletic scholarship.
What if I told you he willingly chose to transfer to OU?

Can anyone go back and find that ludicrous, terrible photoshop of Evans as a cross-eyed superman???

I have to assume that we have some absolutely classic posts about Evans on that cycle’s thread. I remember in the early days, Evans was considered a once every 5 years kind of back. As time went on, it became clear that he was another North Shore fucktard and Texas was going to have other priorities. Then we’d occasionally have the drive-by football board poster show up and demand answers as to why Texas was focused on other recruitments, etc.
That was also peak "Thots" era, too.

Who's ready to overanalyze throws against air?
I'm ready to overanalyze the repeated examples of play-action bootleg passes while taking snaps from under center that we're being fed of Arch. Big time Peyton vibes.
This is also the second time we've seen Manning put a ball on the back corner pylon to CTJ's son. I'm not entirely sure how you defend that route if Arch can drop a ball in like that to a 6'4" receiver running full speed to the back pylon:

lolol
It's not about the destination; it's about the journey.

I went to school in Austin when I first got out of the Army, Spring of ‘95, and the only way I got in was I had ~50 hours to my name as a transfer student (University of Maryland) taking college undergrad classes while in the military. Always grew up a a Longhorn, thanks to Dad, and it was just a given fact. Plus the fact that I was 25, married, and had MFng bills to pay already. I couldn’t get in straight out of HS in ‘88, so I went to the Army for the college fund they were offering back then. We were living in a small ~ 500’ 1 Brm apartment off Runberg, behind the SF Steakhouse back then, so small only one could get in/out of the bathroom at a time.
i finished at tiny McNeese (Lake Charles) as that’s where my wife’s job as a court reporter moved us and she was basically paying all the bills, as my Army college fund only brought in about 750 monthly as a full time student. Always thought I’d go beck to UT and get my MBA, but life happens.

If something is a “whoa!!” for you and you don’t think you’re one of the board idiots, then that is something different. There are no current worries in that regard, btw.

Why would we hire a British coach??? They play a completely different type of football there.

If I can think of the best possible place to find an answer to that question, about a kid from a boston prep school, who is the son of a boston hockey player, it's a football message board in Texas. The second best place might be Pinterest.

I've always thought the Big 12 breeds the most creative/cutting edge coaches, for whatever reason. Texas always got other teams' best shots, and they would scheme specifically for Texas--with trick plays/tendency challenges/etc. that reflected some pretty high level coaching, even if the athletes on the field left something to be desired.
I think we saw similar coaching from Dillingham last week--the fake punt, HB pass, and defensive stunting that we were not prepared for.
For that reason, I think it behooves everyone to pay attention to the Big 12, as a lot of the most successful CFB concepts have come out of the conference in the last 25 years.

I had no idea that player existed.
A&M has mastered the ability to have quantum football players. They exist and don't exist, both, at the same time.

This tweet implies that although he is 6'7" tall, he is only 75% of a monster's size.
