  1. Weird. The gym must be upstairs if he's having trouble dialing into the streets.
  2. The fact that this thread was born from the hellspawn regurgitation of the Simms/Applewhite debate and has now devolved into Thompson vs. Card is
  3. This makes very troubling some of the stuff said about CTJ's daughter.
  4. I'll do you one better: What is big kat?
  5. Crazy to think that just a few hours ago, our staff was inchoate. And then we hired Choate.
  6. It's almost like we were extremely disappointing this past season.
  7. The Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area, and where it is Silsbee, TX, and how to get there Cheese Hydraulics
  8. Ubben is such a choach. Those are extremely reasonable hourly rates. Also, at an average rate of $437.5/hour, it would take those attorneys collectively billing more than twenty nine thousand hours before legal fees exceed Pruitt's buyout.
  9. Not to go full Katfid or anything, but have you guys noticed how similar Jeremy Pruitt and Bill O'Brien look? Would be wild for them both to be on Bama's sideline next year:
  10. Is he still a package deal with Kendell Jones?
  11. Only possible explanation is that LJ hit Jimbo with a volleyball so hard Jimbo had to have his jaw wired shut
  12. Agree. Turning up your nose at that is outrageously dumb. E.g., if you can fill your free roster spots that would otherwise have scholarships at another P5 program, then all of your practice reps are now against guys who are P5-level athletes. It raises the floor of your program and elevates your other players' development based on who they're going against.
  13. Jacksonville probably in need of some offensive coaches.
  14. Bitch, who the fuck do you think you are to second guess Bill O'Brien's personnel decisions? Sometimes you just gotta trade De'Andre Hopkins for David Johnson.
  15. If they voluntarily leave, there is usually no obligation to pay a buyout. In fact, depending on the contract language, the next school may owe Texas a buyout. In the case of firings, there are usually mitigation clauses (i.e., dollar-for-dollar or percentage offsets based on amounts earned in the next year), but it all depends on the specific wording of the contract.
  16. Can you imagine Charlie Strong trying to dissect and gameplan agianst NFL defenses? "You just look and see that Bill Belichick over there, and it's just about the way he gets those little receivers the ball and they're so fast."
