  1. Perspective. T's and P's. That's the thing that is so tough to realize, for most of us that are sitting in our houses healthy as can be there are people that are getting sick because people aren't being careful around them. It's a total mindfuck and one we all just have to make the most out of.
  2. My wife and I got a black lab a year before we got married. She was AMAZING. Brought twins home when she was about 5 years old and she would come and get me if they were crying, sleep in their room when they were taking naps, etc. When they got older she loved playing on the floor with them, playing fetch, going on walks, etc. She was part of the family. She was 13 years old when we had to put her down, it DESTROYED my wife as she had been around for so many important dates in our life, the kids took it hard as well and for the last couple of years the three of them have put on the full court press to get another one. I go back and forth on getting another one now. Not that I wouldn't love to have one just thinking into the future after the boys are out of the house and the wife and I want to travel more. Is that selfish? Sure but it is what it is. To the OP- You have a 4 year old and a 2 year old? Without a doubt that is pretty much the perfect time to bring a dog into the family.
  3. Or the could just not show it or focus on it but as you said they let the cat out of the bag and are now stuck with it.
  4. I was skeptical before we bought our Peloton. I never thought I would say this but I love it, good mix of classes as well as someone mentioned above a ton of non bike add ons- cardio, stretching, yoga, etc. One thing I do like that I never thought I would is the instructors do make a difference. Yesterday I was watching the end of Bosch so I just did my own workout and I wasn't anywhere close to the calorie burn then when I take an actual class. The only thing I don't like is the "social media" aspect of it. I don't share any of that shit but the adding of friends and "we are all family" stuff is a little lame but I get that some people need/want that in a workout class/gym setting. Most of the instructors are really good as well.
  5. A few things on the whole Jordan/Pippen vs. Reinsdorf/Krause 1. That love/hate relationship pretty much occurs with every sports franchise between star players and owner/management/coaching staff to some extent. That's just the way the shit works when you are dealing with that amount of ego 2. Krause had MASSIVE small man's disease and wanted more credit then he deserved but he also deserved more credit than he got/gets for putting those teams together. 3. Jordan WAS Jordan. I have no issue with him poking fun at Krause at all. Unprofessional? Sure, but who the fuck cares, the way Krause aired his dirty laundry in the public was also something he shouldn't have done. 4. I don't blame Reinsdorf for not signing Scottie to a better contract but he sure as hell should have given him an extension. Krause's ego just got in the way and Reinsdorf was too stupid to fire his ass.
  6. Today is as good a times as any. "Come on in the water's great!"
  7. The May contracts expire tomorrow. It's good for a headline and that's about it...... Except for the idiots that are still holding their May positions. (Hello- US Oil ETF!) Not saying it isn't crazy and we aren't going to be bent over in the short term but there are far too many people that have no clue what it means are acting like they have been trading oil futures for the last 20 years.
  8. Anybody else watching or watched ZeroZeroZero? Italian cartel and cocaine? How can it not be good? Giving it a shot-
  9. I have no clue the % of people that are actually staying home and only going out for the needed essentials but it's a shit ton. (is that a scientific term?)
  10. Banshee. He has a supporting role but the series is fucking great if you haven't seen it. fights, women, non stop action what's not to love. As long as you aren't a "there is no way that could happen in real life so this show sucks" guy.
  11. It was annoying but a way for them to cover basically everything and everyone related to that season, give history on where the players came from, their journey to ending up on that Bulls team, and how it all came together. I hated it at first but understand why they are doing it. Next episode being the Rodman/Pistons episode should be great. Saw this on Twitter holy shit you would never see a roster like this in today's NBA-
  12. Um yeah do these come in a size 13 extra wide?
  13. Agreed. I wish the season was longer and sad to hear the next season is the last. This series is entertaining as hell, such an easy enjoyable watch. Oh and-
  14. Great 2 hour trip down memory lane. Looking forward to the rest of the Doc. That extra second hang Jordan had at the top of his jump is still amazing to see again. I understand in today's social media world everyone has to shit on everything but I will never understand why people have to turn shit into a competition of Lebron vs. Jordan. Just enjoy seeing greatness first hand in a different era of basketball.
  15. Yeah, I didn't understand that either.
  16. I am far from a Bear but there isn't a chance in hell that the market can stay flat with what's going to be coming down the line.
  17. Yeah it would be nice if the regulars that hang out in the CR would fucking stay on that board and post in that thread instead of shitting all over this one where people are actually trying to have a mature discussion. It's like two fucking kids having a slap fight in the back seat.
  18. Yes Lee Ann was the culinary producer or some shit like that for 5 seasons I think. As others have mentioned not that they don't all know each other but seems odd that they have her on the show as a contestant. Bravo/TC connection aside she isn't a great cook. Love Jenn, sad to see her go.
  19. He was an awful physical player but hand's down one of the most ruthless and "great" survivor moments of all time. As for the loved one's episode- I didn't think it was that bad, I enjoyed the kids being able to come and also a nice gesture for those on exile island to see their family. The vote was crazy going to be a lot of flipping sides moving forward I think as it's time to start thinking about who you can beat for the $2M.
  20. There will be a lot of changes. The # of people wearing masks in public is something that I never thought I would see in this country.
  21. 100% and also made me think about the Physical Ed teacher in the vid
  22. and tell her she needs to do a better job scrubbing the cookie sheets.
  23. Yeah, Tony should have got up and picked up the entire podium and said "I want to play this"
