  1. Hecker of a punter they got there.
  2. The refs are not always in the right spot. They do not have tV camera views during the play. It is better to let it play out, then correct it if need be. Which they did. If it had been a fumble and they blew it dead, they took points off the board.
  3. It is better to let it play out than blow it dead and be wrong.
  4. Every time they bring up the ketchup nonsense, it is a defensive TD for the Rams.
  5. http://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/25232432/as-thanksgiving-approaches-alabama-crimson-tide-ot-jonah-williams-cooking-field-kitchen Dammit, now I am hungry.
  6. Dude, it is a mix of self-deprecation and pointing out how bad our kicking has been. Bama has missed like 6 XP so far this season.
  7. I can block a Bulovas kick and I am nearing 50 and out of shape.
  8. ^You must have lived through the 70's to be a true badass.
  9. If you don't check out reddit, you should at least have been paying attention to r/cfb the last few days. They have a pic of him with the fake stache, each day zoomed in a little closer. https://old.reddit.com/r/CFB/
  10. Except change the first 4 games to Tuscaloosa, Ann Arbor, Clemson and South Bend. Need to save those other bowls for other teams. No sense in a team playing in two bowl games in one season. Also, make it a reward for the higher seeds, to play at home.

  12. Will UAB beating aggy next week hurt or help them in the AP?
  13. This might be one of the few cases where I pull for Auburn against one of these cupcakes. Fuck Falwell U.
  14. Rather than start a thread for this, just going to post this here. The following is a post I created on r/cfb about a real issue that just came closer to reality as of this morning. If you are not too lazy, read it in full. https://old.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/9v36y6/could_new_alabama_state_amendment_lead_to_more/ For those too lazy to click... There may be issues with several parts of this passed amendment but the last line is the one of most concern. I am not sure if many of you kept up with the events surrounding the shutdown of the UAB football program, after the 2014 season. At the time it was shut down, the President of the UA Board of Trustees was Paul Bryant, Jr. They claimed that the program was losing money. Soon thereafter, Bryant turned 70 and was automatically removed from the Board of Trustees, as that was the rule then. Soon thereafter, an independent study found that UAB was not losing money on it's football program, it was turning a profit and it was soon reinstated. The UAB head coach at the time, Bill Clark, stayed through the entire fiasco and has done an admirable job there, making them bowl eligible in all three of his seasons, the one before the shutdown and the two since they restarted the program, basically starting from scratch. This new amendment will allow Bryant back on the Board of Trustees, which I fully expect to happen ASAP. Both his name and the money he has donated to the UA program almost guarantees this will happen. I can not honestly speak to why he chose to shut down the UAB program, as I do not know his mind. I do know that a former UAB AD made some unflattering comments about his Father, Coach Bryant's former assistants. Many believe he has carried a grudge about this issue ever since. If he truly does hold a grudge and is put back on the BOT, I fear he may go after the UAB football program again, without real cause. There was a lot of local, state and even national outcry, on sports websites, after that last time, much of it directed at the Capstone, even though it had nothing to do with the UA AD or it's employees. I fear if he does anything like this again, it will not only hurt the UAB program but also the public image of the UA program. My hope in this is that you will use your social media, letter writing skills, sexy phone voice, etc to prevent this from happening. Keep in mind, the UA AD and those who work for it are not the ones doing this, it is those who run the entire University of Alabama system(UA, UAB, UAH). Please be courteous in any communications. I hope enough of you see the potential injustice here and feel strongly enough to reach out. If you do not feel the need to do anything else, at least educate yourself on this issue, so that any news that may come from this will go to informed eyes/ears. I have included a few links below with more information about this issue. Voters Guide, pre-election, scroll down to Amendment 3 for info Program shut down after 2014 season Back from the dead History of UAB Athletics and the UABOT All of the above is written by a lifelong Bama fan and Tide Pride season ticket holder. One who worries about the UABOT overstepping it's bounds again, to the detriment of the UAB program and the backlash towards the UA program.
  15. Been a few weeks since this has been bumped. https://www.rollbamaroll.com/2018/11/6/18066626/nsfw-its-meltdown-time-lsu-is-big-mad-texas-tamu-aggies-florida-gators-longhorns-tigers
  16. Hey Titans, you know who has had a grand total if one fumble in the last 7 years? Some guy wearing 22. Yeah, I get with your suddenly shitty OL, that he is not getting much room to run like he did before but at least he is not a TO machine.
  17. What a coincidence, he was also not good at watching his weight.
  18. Now he is firing back at ESPN for apologizing for his comments. FWIW, I agree, they knew exactly what they were going to get. If you want to be like Finebaum, lean into it. He does not apologize for the nutjobs he puts on the air. https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2018/11/05/james-carville-calls-espn-gutless-after-it-apologizes-his-anti-sec-rampage/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.331d04c3a8bb
  19. I would say that dude had a practice run or a thousand. Knew where every little shortcut on the course was to be found.
  20. After living through Dubose, Fran, Price and Shula, it is not boring but OTOH, I am selling more and more of my season tickets.
  21. Since everyone seems to agree with him, I guess you all bought into the BOMC and the B12 running everything through UT? FWIW, I wish they had overturned the White suspension, while it technically was a correct call, as the rule is currently written, it was not intentional. I think when they first came out with the targeting rule, it was a little more flexible. It could be overturned completely, it could be called as a personal foul but no targeting or it could be the full deal. Of course that called for some measure of judgement. I think they simplified it, making it either targeting or nothing but that made it so that many more end up being targeting. They need to go back to original rule and add a true appeal process. If there is no intent, then it gets overturned, at least the targeting portion.
  22. Looking forward to seeing a neekid live Shani. If they get that right, can forgive most else.
