  1. Chris Vaughn was the story with this test scores.
  2. Jesus Christ, people, Demas was bought. How hard is this?
  3. I love the smell of fresh butthurt in the afternoon...smells like victory.
  4. Of course there is value in his system, but let's not overvalue it either. There is value in Sagarin's system as well, but Jeff doesn't go on Twitter and act like a little bitch or write articles throwing shade at certain teams when his system shows a shortcoming.
  5. The point is that they aren't especially proven and Brewer is only an upperclassmen because we didn't have the luxury of redshirting him. It wasn't like there was a real 2-deep at TE this season with Brewer recovering from injury. Leitao didn't play a snap at the position. I haven't heard much buzz about any of the returning TEs. At least on the OL there was talk that Imade, Angilau, and Jones are making moves. Hit on 2 of those and the OL could be decent even without a GT, assuming they stay healthy. We are set at QB and WR and while our RB room is thin, Ingram is a proven plus asset. I hope the position works out with the current roster, it is normal for there to be an unknown when a proven senior leaves the team. I am just pointing out that for all the handwringing about who we should be chasing as a grad transfer, including positions that have some proven depth like DL, TE is a position of potential concern that no one wants to talk about.
  6. I find it odd that so many are worrying about getting a grad transfer DL when we have more proven depth there than TE. (Especially when our luck with TE's staying healthy is worse than Chip Brown's luck in Vegas.) Brewer had his moments as a freshman but who knows if he even has Beck's upside. Everyone else is unproven and young. It seems like the prime position to get a hungry senior looking for a lot of minutes. It certainly isn't as dire as RB, but TEs are similar to OL in that they are usually most effective when seasoned for a few years. Maybe there are no options on the portal or more hopefully the coaches like what they have seen of Brewer, Leitao and Epps (do I even mention Cummins?) in practice and don't think it necessary. To me it is the biggest question mark we have on offense going into next season.
  7. Look for a repeat with LSU stonewalling an investigation and some high power Baton Rouge attorney representing a former Texas blue chipper nobody in-state wanted.
  8. I think more guys are on the grad transfer wire than ever, but yeah, most teams don't have a quality senior TE looking to move. Probably need a Calvin Anderson situation with a G5 late riser looking to improve his NFL chances.
  9. Sounds like we won't consider pursuing a DL until after Spring Practice. If any DL are unhappy about how things go and put in for a transfer, I imagine we would be in the game, but it sounds like the staff is going to give the current roster the chance to show their quality first. I am somewhat surprised Warehime isn't following a TE or two. It's not like Cade is going to scare anyone off and everyone else is pretty much an unknown.
  10. I didn't realize just how simplistic his recruiting model was. Some teams are great at mental evals and some are great at development and others suck. Sometimes you bring in 30 players and others years you bring 20. Then you have the myriad of new hires that change those dynamics and generally cause roster churn. Not to mention coaches coming up from G5 who may be in over their head. A lot of moving pieces to just throw in some percentages and stale recruiting rankings. Still feel his system overreacts to blow out wins over weak opponents. Woodshedding 3+ sub-P5 teams gives you a big S&P boost against a team that only plays 1 sub-P5 team.
  11. And the players they get seem to have a similar lack of morals.
  12. Good point. They got rid of the requirement that the school offer a grad program that isn't available at the current school, right? I would think law or business school would be pretty hard to offer something unique since they are more professional programs rather than research-based.
  13. I am pretty sure I read that he is a history major. USNWR ranks our graduate History program at #16. OSU is actually higher (#27) than Florida (#53) for grad history. GT's program is at #114 and Auburn's comes in at #125.
  14. They make it sound like it's such a positive, but to anyone not an aggy it sounds like they are likely just buying recruits. I am sure if a guy like Mickens showed up to UT and committed on the spot every ag in Brazos County would be screaming cheating even louder than they already do when we get guys after spending months and months building relationships.
  15. Same as it always was. Myck Kabongo gets docked a full season for just talking with an agent, no lawyer. Johnny Manziel is caught getting paid for signing autographs and gets docked a half vs. Rice, lawyered up. The NCAA, and by proxy all the schools that are its members, won't spend any money in defending its rules. At this point the schools should just end the charade and close up shop on the NCAA, what's the point of making rules when you won't invest to enforce them.
  16. All I know is that I hope he takes her up for the 'aTm' offer after the formal.
  17. Stupid sip, aggy only gave up 28 pts and 413 yds. aggy should be #2 in the nation! Whoop!
  18. It's flat. You gotta dig a hole first or the sand blows away.
  19. This from the guy whose latest bit was claiming no internet in Vancouver! Bravo, bizzle, bravo!
  20. There's way more variation in talent evaluation when you are talking about MWC teams. The recruiting services just don't invest enough to really track these players. If you get a bunch of P5 offers you get eyes. I doubt the recruiting services do a great job in ordering recruits once you get past those with multiple P5 offers. USU is probably in the same tier as everyone but Boise. I bet Well's ranking vis-à-vis the rest of the MWC would improve a lot if there were a dozen recruiting service guys paying attention to these recruits.
  21. Meh, with NSD2 now being a non-event, I imagine blacklab won't poke his head back on this thread again. We need more shitposting on the 2020 thread now to get the page number up before NDS1 when the mods will be around to crack down. Then we might be close enough by NSD2 to threadshit our way to 1000 pages.
  22. Looks like someone's dick is living rent free in Looch's gob.
