  1. Love to see Tay Tay triggering the crotchety old fucks here. I'm no fan of her music, but she's given my daughters a lot of joy, and empowered them to be the best girls they can.
  2. The discussion of Blue versus Baxter (who are incredibly complementary) just underscores what an embarrassment of riches that Sark has stockpiled at every offensive skill position. We are legitimately 2-deep at QB, 2-deep at TE, 4-deep at WR and balls-deep at RB with extremely qualified starters. That is recruiting and NIL, certainly. But it also speaks to the allure of Sarkisian's offense, and this effect should only build upon itself given the talent on display this upcoming season. It is hard not to get drunk on the Kool-Aid.
  3. I'm just being a drive-by commenter. I truly appreciate the effort to start a meaningful thread, as painful as it may be for us to revisit. That 2019 class was all the more of a gut punch because Texas football was such a fucking mirage. The team had its biggest win in nearly a decade, over Georgia, just weeks before signing day. Then they signed what appeared to be a bomber class headlined by that awesome dude from Cali, Bru McCoy. It looked like Herman had picked up the pieces from Chuckles and baked the fucking cake. Then it all exploded like that turkey on Christmas Vacation. It's good to remember what happened five years ago because it makes the reality of what is happening now all the more sweeter.
  4. Sorry for being a pedant, but I can't let this pass. The space shuttle never left low-Earth orbit, so if you created one, you aren't going to the Moon either.
  5. I'd be curious to see the thin-skinned response to this on IT, if such a thread exists. And congratulations to Gerry, Bobby, and Imma. We all win because of this.
  6. He said rumor, sir. If something critical of tu is mentioned on TexAgs, it is henceforth a fact to be enshrined in granite next to the Sully statue.
  7. I'm sorry, ClubWhatever. The word we're looking for is 'is.' As in, This board is a truly awful place.
  8. This. I actually grew up a Lions fan, in Michigan. I was a kid, at the 1989 playoff win. But fuck that redass aggy coach.
  9. I highly recommend the final cyclocross race of the season that pitted Wout van Aert and MvdP against one another last weekend. Even if you've never watched cyclocross, it's easy to pick up, and there are some thrilling moments of pure power in this race. Access to cycling in the United States has become an absolute nightmare, but fortunately it is on YouTube. I've time-stamped it to the start of the men's race. https://youtu.be/BkrCjEllKnA?si=3-mmGgQ8zqrJ-3H0&t=5756 The FloBikes commentary in the link above is pure shit, so I recommend watching it on Eurosport/Discovery+ (UK-based) if possible.
  10. Let me tell *you* something, pendejo. You pull any of your crazy shit with us, you flash some moderation out on the forums, I'll take it away from you, and stick it up your ass and pull the fucking trigger 'til it goes "click."
  11. He ain't come here to play school. https://athlonsports.com/college-football/deion-sanders-reveals-shedeur-sanders-possibly-has-never-taken-a-class-on-campus-in-college
  12. Two things can be true at the same time. Yes, Kenny Baker does not have a deep resume. One could look at this track record and say he does not have enough skins on the wall to be coaching DTs at Texas. His ability to recruit is unproven. All of these are red flags. However, Texas under Sark has shown no reluctance to spend money to get top coaches. They were willing to break the bank for Bo Davis, but dude likes to move around and had family reasons to go to LSU. Texas just went and got Arizona's DC to be its linebackers coach. Sark presumably had plenty of cash to chase a wide range of options for a DL coach. He ended up with Kenny Baker. It seems likely that since this process was not rushed, and Texas had resources, that this was a hire Sark wanted to make. So in his view Baker is a plus for the team. Given his track record in hiring coaches, and Baker's experience in the deep south, it seems prudent to give Sark some leeway and see how Baker works out. Maybe it's a tragic mistake. Or maybe it's the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Like CTJ said above, the hire is singularly great because it was so out of the blue it is going trigger a lot of debate among the populace of this message board. We get to enjoy seeing morons be morons. A few years from now we'll be able to look back at some people and laugh. Truth is, we don't know shit about fuck when it comes to how this will all play out. Embrace the chaos.
  13. You're doing great work for Texas, my good sir. But I cannot let the butchering of a perfectly cromulent word like "commensurate" go unchecked.
  14. Griffin, possibly our top QB target for 2026, just needs a mullet to resemble a young Quinn. /nokatfid
