  1. I’m not a huge fan of current Fed policy, but Shelton is not what America needs today.
  2. I just bought a used Nissan Leaf. 2017. Super cheap. Purely an in town car. Can be charged nightly if needed...but with COVID it’s get charged once every 3 days. It is no where close to the performance of a Tesla. But it is a tiny fraction of the cost of a Tesla and seems to serve its in town purpose well. We still have an Internal combustion car for long range trips.
  3. Does Trump rally his base for the GA races? Hold some rallies in GA? Or does he abandon the GOP to itself? I think that will be an aspect at play.
  4. Seems like AOC would be better off and more effective continuing to agitate for change from the left flank in the House rather than getting buried inside the Biden administration.
  5. Nothing ground breaking there.
  6. Since this is all wild speculation...I am going to assume Biden's administration will focus heavily on domestic efforts. Yes, he can dispatch people to re-engage in foreign affairs but likely just a return to Obama era policies. I don't see Biden's administration focusing on leading in foreign affairs. Plenty of work exists just in rebuilding institutions that have been damaged over the past 4 years. There are plenty of issues to take care of domestically that speak to showing voters that democrats can produce.
  7. The problem isn't going away any time soon.
  8. No clue what you are trying to say. I will point out that a billionaire, Bloomberg, dropped over $100 million in states that Trump won. So uh...why didn't Bloomberg with those states if he has the gold and money talks?
  9. Pete needs to stay domestic. UN ambassador doesn't seem well suited. You want him in a position to continue to go on Fox news and press your high value priorities like healthcare, jobs, stimulus. Don't bury him at the U.N.
  10. ^^Yeah, that is my baseline assumption.
  11. Bwhahahah. Senate (McConell) will not raise taxes. Zero chance. The economy is going to need to survive on its own in 2021.
  12. Perdue has an almost identical vote count to Trump. I take that to mean every Trump voter also voted for Perdue. Ossoff is running almost 100k votes behind Biden. Who are the 100k people voting for Biden but not Ossoff? The Libertarian party senate candidate has over 100k votes. Did 100k LP voters vote for Biden and then their candidate for Senate? If so, that seems....weird.
  13. I'm starting to get a bit of hope that Perdue falls below 50% in GA allowing Ossoff to go to a runoff. Didn't think there was any hope last night.
  14. The AP called the race at 2:50 a.m. EST Wednesday, after an analysis of ballots cast statewide concluded there were not enough outstanding to allow Trump to catch up. https://apnews.com/article/ap-explains-race-calls-0b1988605f9101f4b799fc63b01e0090
  15. I have been worried about Peters since late last night.
  16. It would have been wasted in TX. Dump it in the blue wall.
  17. GA going blue is a game changer. Biden would only need WI at that point. But that seems like a real long shot, ignoring the NYT forecast meter.
  18. That sounds like best case scenario. How about Trump wins GA, NC, MI, and PA with the Senate staying GOP. That extends a much worse scenario out 2 to 4 years.
  19. His speech isn't surprising. He has been doing his rallies and speaking to his base. And on election night, he appears to be doing better than expected. So in his lizard brain, he thinks, keep doing whats working.
