Some clarification on the tabs: 2026-AP101S - Current roster with those in the portal removed (unless there are discussions about returning, such as Derek Williams). Texas Grid - Roster sorted by their original signing year. Their 247 composite rating appears below their name. If they were a transfer, then their transfer rating is used instead of their HS rating. It includes all the incoming and outgoing portals so we can see the churn. Players that have eligibility remaining but have declared for the NFL draft are also highlighted. This will get updated to just the final roster after Spring practices. Texas by Class - Every signee since 2017, sorted by signing year. It includes their status so you can where they ended up (NFL, transfer, graduated but not NFL, etc.). There are also Aggie by Class and Aggie Grid tabs.
  2. 247 does a pretty good job of tracking transfers which you can sort by team: Indiana Transfers Preston Zachman 0.86 S Joshua Burnham 0.89 Edge Turbo Richard 0.88 RB Chiddi Obiazor 0.87 Edge Tobi Osunsanmi 0.94 Edge Josh Hoover 0.93 QB Jiquan Sanks 0.86 S Nick Marsh 0.94 WR
  3. Here are the details (from the Aggie by Class tab: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TzoBTIvCXfZIk7Sz3C9txMg0yPvrXyVM/edit?gid=1912575733#gid=1912575733) Scarlett and Nabou have 1 year remaining. Scarlet has played in 2 games in his career (McNeese St and Samford) with a career total of 1 solo tackle and 2 assisted tackles. If they both return for 2026, then A&M will have 5 players out of 32 complete their careers at A&M and only 2 that are drafted (assuming Moss is drafted). 27 players transferred/quit. I added a 2026 tab https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TzoBTIvCXfZIk7Sz3C9txMg0yPvrXyVM/edit?gid=1327300395#gid=1327300395 Players that are widely known not to be returning (NFL or transfer) are in italics. There will be many more leaving, but I'll let that play out. The starters and rotational guys will change quite a bit after portal season. I couldn't bring myself to color code an entire 2-deep since we have so many shitty options. We need need a lot of portal help. There's a legend at the bottom that explains the abbreviations after a player's name: RS - Used a redshirt WO - Walk-on EE - Early enrollee TR - Transfer BS - Blue shirt I haven't seen a reliable list of early enrollees for 2026 yet, so that will need to be updated. I also updated the Texas by Class and Texas Grid tabs. Still need to add the 2026 class to the Aggie Grid tab, but the players with no more eligibility have been removed and redshirt status has been updated. Concepcion will be declaring for the NFL. Bisontis, Ricks, and York have been mentioned as possibly declaring for NFL as well.
  5. Went to the game with my son and teenage grandson. It was his first football game to attend at any level. He said he had a blast and would like to do it again. IMG_6902.HEIC IMG_6903.HEIC IMG_6908.MOV IMG_6917.HEIC IMG_6925.MOV
  6. Thanks to the 2020-Covid year, ND has won more conference championships than A&M this century.
  7. The roster spreadsheet I track has a Texas Grid tab (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TzoBTIvCXfZIk7Sz3C9txMg0yPvrXyVM/edit?gid=537784767#gid=537784767) with 247 composite ratings using the transfer rating instead of high school. There's also a team summary at the bottom that excludes special teams (K/P/LS) and former walk-ons (Taafe, Landwehr) from the average rating and blue chip ratio columns. For comparison, here's Texas A&M (Aggie Grid tab):
  8. 3 days until football. Here's a clip of Texas Tech blocking a field goal, recovering it, then fumbling it, which gave Kansas a second chance at the game winning field goal. An instant classic. Classic Tech.mp4

  10. More Chris Gilbert Home visit. Wish I knew how to make the pic larger.
  11. Who from the Texas roster do you think could crack the A&M 2-deep?
  12. I've updated the depth chart spreadsheet with the 2025 Spring roster. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TzoBTIvCXfZIk7Sz3C9txMg0yPvrXyVM/edit?gid=1658728281#gid=1658728281 We can all rejoice that Max Merril is no longer on the roster (@closetojumping) The roster is at 81, so plenty of room for more transfers.
  13. Baseball - Wake Forest ('55), Minnesota ('56, '60, '64), Oklahoma St ('59), Cal ('47, '57), Missouri ('54) Basketball - Wisconsin ('41), Oklahoma St ('45, 46), Cal ('59), Utah ('44) Football - Iowa ('58), Minnesota ('40, '41, '60) So that leaves A&M plus 13 others: Boston College Virginia Tech Illinois Northwestern Purdue Rutgers Iowa State Kansa State TCU Texas Tech West Virginia Oregon (basketball '39) Washington St Texas A&M

  15. The operating system was assembly language, which is what I did. The rest of the flight computer code was HAL/S. There was other hardware that had their own language, but that stuff rarely changed after it was initially designed. I didn't join the project until '84, so all the big challenges of coming up with the original design was already done.
  16. The Space Shuttle's AP-101/S onboard computer operating system.
  17. Here's the link to the 2025 tab of the depth chart: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TzoBTIvCXfZIk7Sz3C9txMg0yPvrXyVM/edit?gid=1658728281#gid=1658728281 Here's an explanation of the tabs: 2025 - Depth chart based on remaining eligibility. Players in italics are expected attrition (portal or NFL). As players enter the portal or declare for the draft, then they will be deleted. 2024 - I'll continue to update this through the end of the season. Players entering the portal will remain in this sheet so we can see how the depth was affected. Portal entries are color coded per the legend at the top of the sheet. Texas by Class - Shows the player data of each signing class since 2017. The source is 247 composite. I track current status such as Roster, Transfer, NFL, Graduated (a career other than sports), Medical retirement, etc. Texas Grid - Shows players by their signing class rather than by remaining eligibility. Also has their 247 composite rating so that the average rating for the offense, defense, and team can be calculated. Also shows the blue chip ratio. Aggie by Class - Same as Texas by Class, but for A&M. Aggie Grid - Similar to Texas Grid, but for A&M. The difference is that the portal entries remain on this sheet through the Spring so that we can see how many players left. 2023 - 2011 - End of season depth charts for past Texas teams.
  18. I added a 2025 tab to the depth chart spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TzoBTIvCXfZIk7Sz3C9txMg0yPvrXyVM/edit?gid=1658728281#gid=1658728281 Those that are projected by Surly to declare for the NFL or portal are italicized, although when there's not a consensus, I'll assume they're returning. I also updated the Texas Grid and Aggie Grid tabs which shows athletes by signing class rather than by remaining eligibility, along with their 247 composite rating (transfers get their transfer rating, no their HS rating). The Blue Chip Ratio is at the bottom of those tabs. Names are removed once they state they are entering the portal or declaring for the draft (i.e., no speculation for these tabs).
  19. I included the 2 transfers (Max Johnson, Micaiah Overton) who are both gone.
  20. @closetojumping already answered this (50%), but here are some details. This link (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TzoBTIvCXfZIk7Sz3C9txMg0yPvrXyVM/edit?gid=1682239859#gid=1682239859) has an Aggie by Class tab which lists every signee since 2017 and where they ended their careers. There's also a Texas by Class tab. 16 of 32 signees from 2022 are no longer on the A&M roster.

Cross posting from the Billy Bowman thread, because fuck Billy Bowman Billy Bowman announces new NIL deal with Slip’n Slide
  22. Saw this on Twitter/X: Billy Bowman announces new NIL deal with Slip’n Slide
  23. Coach Glove is Deon Glover. His son is Tony Grimes. Maybe A&M saw how poorly Tony played in 2023 Spring ball and decided not to pay. He transferred to UNLV in 2024.
