  1. Was thinking about this the other day and the huge advantages teams like Texas currently get from this system. Non-playoff bowl games feature a ton of opt-outs with some teams half-assing it out there. They are not nearly as useful or competitive as they used to be. Texas is about to play their 2nd postseason game against complete squads that are playing at their highest level. It's huge for returning Texas players to get that kind of experience in multiple games that other teams completely miss out on. It's gonna make the gap between the top 5-6 programs and the rest of CFB even wider.
  2. His dad was born and raised in Iran. We claim him.
  3. Just thinking about this ASU game and potential matchup vs. Oregon or Ohio State, I hope Sark puts together a game plan for Quinn to let it rip vs. the Sun Devils. Quinn did some very nice things in 2nd UGA game and successfully handled the game manager passing attack vs. Clemson. He's also getting healthier and should be walking into the Peach Bowl with a lot of confidence. We might not need aggressive Quinn to beat ASU, but we'll probably need it against OSU or Oregon. With the expectation that we can run the ball well, this is a good game to open up things and take more shots down the field. I'd rather see us successfully stretch the field now instead of holding it back and hoping it works later on vs. better competition.
  4. Yes, Nikki, let's "invest in our education" by getting rid of the DoE, banning books, focusing on bullshit trans hysteria, revising history books, and keeping America and schools as dangerous as humanly possible by having zero gun control. Cunt.
  5. I just want to reiterate how much I hate every sports columnist at the AAS. Got rid of Bohls and it still sucks shit through a straw. Whoever has been in charge there all these years is a disgrace.
  6. Elko does not have enough skins on the wall or personality to talk about his team like this in front of the media. I understand the frustration, but it's amateurish and I doubt it will be helpful in the long run. You love to see it.
  7. So many red flags in this first year regarding Elko's ability to be a successful head coach. Lot of signs of immaturity: the "this is a real program" comment then losing 4 out of the next 5, his sideline antics, sideline commentary, etc. He gets easily frustrated out there and his body language is terrible for a Head Coach. Maybe he figures it out, but I get the sense that Elko thinks he has all the answers with little ability to self reflect. Kinda reminds me of Tom Herman.
  8. Love me some Christopher Cross. Stay for the random 80s footage of Austin.
  9. This is the good stuff.
  10. Hit the weed pen 30 minutes ago and it just kicked in. I'm crying.
  11. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
  12. This guy was very clearly yelling "Big 12 refs! Big 12 refs!" when they cut to him. Please someone gif it.
  13. Are you ok? Let me slow it down for you. Arch, in his 2nd start of his career, had similar pre-snap motion count as the 3rd year starter. So when you allow the synapses to start firing, the "dumbed down" argument is gone.
  14. Well, you clearly can't think for yourself. And FYI, I just found Babers talking about Arch and the Mississippi State game and how the pre-snap motion increased from ULM game and was almost at the average with Quinn starting.
  15. The routes and concepts are the same. Arch has almost completed 2 years at Texas. He understands Sark's offense. He's not some mongoloid.
  16. Show me an example of Sark running a simpler offense for Arch. You're just talking out of your ass.
  17. Sark's offense for Quinn is simple minded. It is not complicated. He has curated it as much as he can to make things easy for Quinn.
