  1. Good post, but adjusting language won't help Dems win. The people you're trying to appease are unappeasable. It's a scam.
  2. Bumping this after watching again last night. I don't know who Elephant Graveyard is, but this is legit critique and philosophy laced with dry humor and crazy editing skills. He focuses his videos on the comedy world (and Elon and Thiel), but what he's talking about is much bigger and IMO can be applied to our political hellscape and this fake alpha male bullshit that is poisoning our country. It's 90 minutes long. There are no ads. Watch it on TV and treat it like you're watching a documentary. If there's such a thing as actual art being produced on YouTube, this is it.
  3. Arch's HS head coach.
  4. Yep, the game is rigged. I think the Democratic Party is an absolute joke right now, but the reality is nothing they say matters because, in general, the American people have lost their minds. I think we are living in probably the biggest mental health crisis in our country's history, the triumvirate of social media/post-pandemic/Trump has broken us. Pray for Trump/GOP to lose power and Dems enacting legitimate policies that undeniably benefit people. That's our only way out.
  5. Henley is #4 in the world rankings! Didn't know he and Scottie were really close. Announcers think they'll be paired up in the Ryder Cup at some point.
  6. Save those penalties for Games 2/3/4, Neto.
  7. With all the massive changes to modern college football, we are actually blessed to have 3 traditional rivals in our pod. A mix of the old with the new. It's great.
  8. Yeah, fuck Pete Golding too. Should have said that first.
  9. Imagine crying about our schedule after decades of yawn-inducing bullshit in the Big XII. Now that we live in a world where 3 loss teams can make a college football playoff, I want Texas to play as many big time programs as possible.
  10. Long excerpt about Arch's recruitment from an upcoming book about QBs: https://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/46022536/ruthless-recruitment-arch-manning This part caught my eye. Fuck Nick Saban. NOBODY KNEW WHERE Arch Manning wanted to go to school. Some in the family preferred Georgia, where head coach Kirby Smart would coach him hard. Others, Alabama. The problem for Alabama was that Nick Saban -- whom the Crimson Tide assistants affectionally called "Daddy" -- was getting up there in years, and nobody knew how long he'd be there. Texas kept lingering. Competition was so fierce that everything was fair game. It was public record that Steve Sarkisian had battled alcoholism, a disease that nearly cost him his career. Sark had rebuilt his life and work in recovery. But during one Zoom call with Arch, Golding was discussing Alabama's schematics and culture, and then he went there. "I love Sark," Golding said. "He's my best friend." He paused. "I hope he can stay sober." After the Zoom ended, Stewart called Golding. "Pete, that's f---ed up!" Golding knew. He had no choice. "Daddy's on me."
  11. We should take the OU/A&M/ARK pod and ask no questions.
  12. Scottie was off with his approach irons most of the day, to the point where he almost slammed his club on 17th fairway, and shot 63.
  13. Incredible par save by Scottie on 16. Henley shoots 61 and made over 207 feet of putts today. LOL.
  14. Thanks for sharing. Took about 20 minutes for this guy to admit he can't condemn King Trump because they'll remove him from the negotiating table. Probably also scared he'll get deported.
  15. I agree it's not an easy hire, but I'm sure they could find someone if they prioritized it. With Arch Manning season(s) ahead and program looking elite, it's a golden opportunity to elevate the channel.
  16. Yeah, I don't know what to make of it.
  17. I'm back to watching a lot of Texas stuff on YouTube. - It's weird how unlikeable the InsideTexas guys are. They report on Texas with such a lack of enthusiasm, like they're not even enjoying their job. I like that they're willing to discuss Xs & Os, but it's a shame that Ian Boyd is leading it. - On Texas Football is still my go-to, but things feel a little stale. Jeff Howe seems like a good dude and is knowledgable, but his inclusion feels a little redundant with CJ Vogel. Really like Gerry. Babers should not be doing solo segments, he tends to drone and it's a hard listen sometimes. I was hoping they'd add a film study analyst/segment this year, that is such an opportunity for them with so many eyes on Arch and the program right now. - I don't watch Orangebloods stuff. Can't do it.
  18. Great start to this tournament. Course is gettable right now and a lot of players are stepping up.
  19. Yes, and I'm assuming he'll do a detailed film study of Arch every week this season.
  20. Then the requested media blackout has begun. They don't want the 75 yard TD catch on first play of game to feel too obvious.
  21. And the auditioning at East Lake begins...
