SEC Refs Suck
I agree there was fuckery afoot, however, I don't think it's tied to the gambling line. I think it's tied to SEC officiating getting guidance that SEC vs SEC needs to be close games because that reinforces the best league in the land mantra. It's especially an issue when a Top 10 Team is getting boat raced. As you see from the rankings, the Vandy come back helped soften their ratings drop. SEC, SEC, SEC. and all that.

Why Texas Stomps A Mudhole In Vanderbilt's Ass
It's a sad day when CTJ feels the need to write a "mudhole" post for fucking Vandy. Vandy....They are entitled rich kids who don't belong at the big kids table for football. Everyone needs to man up. The team needs to kick the shit out of them. Send Pavia back to whatever community college they pulled him out of and make that school never want to play football in Austin again.

Coach Sark Press Conference 10.20 - 11:30am (LHN and ESPN apps)
Nice work, I would have preferred "Peruna Dick" to make it more obscure, but overall nicely summarized. Sark again is calling his offense against shitty teams rather than game planning assuming talent will win out and it's the best way to "train" the team on what he wants rather than adjusting to what his team is capable of executing. We are about to get another dose. Expect we'll see alternative approach against Vandy, but maybe not till GA.

Tell Me About Texas a&m
Economics is hard for the Aggie. It takes understanding something outside of their internal need to eat, sleep, and chase sheep.

Texas O-line talk
He was only there two years, so likely none of the starters were his recruits. The AL part of the resume is way overstated. Focus on the 10 years at Rutgers to understand what we have

The cotton bowl is a shit hole
For the love of god could the fire marshall clear the fucking concourses? They are narrow af, and having 10k camped out on stairs and along every wall and railing make them super narrow, and impossible to navigate. They need to turn off the in-game Tvs so less people loiter or better yet tell people to a) look at weather report b) understand you are sitting in the world's largest jiffy pop pan so if you cant handle that dont buy tickets. "But I didnt think it would be That Hot" Then leave the stadium and go to - I dont know, maybe The State Fair of Texas - with 100s of buildings and places to see the game, with AC. The concourse is not a fucking camp ground OU sucks

Coach Sark Press Conference 10.6 - 11:30am (LHN app or ESPN app)
No argument from me on that. I wasn't suggesting that Sark should be fired. I am saying he has a problem and it's his to fix. Can he meaningfully address mid-season? I doubt it.

Coach Sark Press Conference 10.6 - 11:30am (LHN app or ESPN app)
Agree for the most part, and overall the talent level now is significantly better/deeper than since the VY days. However, our lines are ineffective and our coaching and skill players can't overcome it. That's on Sark in year 5, and an indictment on his recruiting and player development of the lines. At least they tried to fix the DL lack of depth again through the portal. OL? A massive coaching and recruiting disaster. Given the player development success in the first couple years with the old staff's talent, I think we have to at least consider his line recruiting is at best TBD (Def) and likely a huge problem (Off) for this staff. Saturday this was on display married to a bizarre set of game plans on both sides of the ball. PK's game plan seemed to be based on a interior DL he used to have but doesn't anymore tied to an in-game adjustment strategy that seemed to be "let's rotate everyone in, like this is SHSU". Sark continues to game plan and call games for the OB he hopes he has, not the OL he does have. We will see if Florida was a wake-up call for all involved, can they coach up the team they have versus the one they want, can they make effective in-game adjustments, or should we all go buy hunting leases for the fall. Fifth year, five games in, I'm guessing: https://www.leasehunter.com/states/texas But I hope I'm wrong.

I give LSU, MSU, SCar a shot. Aggie overall looks beatable. That qb still has accuracy issues, the line has to hold, and the defense is good but not great
