  1. Who exactly would have been overwhelming for you? Or even just whelming?
  2. Idk where you’ve been but I’ve been for the last 11 years in a row and 14 total and it’s never not been a shit show of people of game day. If you wanna talk about a shit show, how about when they wouldn’t sell alcohol inside, and handed out little red tickets on your way out of the stadium at halftime so that you could re-enter the game. That was a goddamned shit show.
  3. A couple years ago on game day I spent $300 on just myself. Not on beers inside the stadium, on food and drink out on the midway. We stayed from 8am until probably 6 that night, but even then it was still ridiculous.
  4. Arte Moreno is the gift that keeps on giving.
  5. Yes. And I can see his avatar right now: White dude with a Jew fro and coke bottle frame glasses with white tape on the nose bridge like they had been broken? He was doing some goofy pose or throwing a gang sign or some shit?
  6. Changed hotels for the third time for our trip in December. Moxy Chelsea. Apparently our first night in town the hotel is hosting “Drag Bingo”. This is gonna be fun shit. Wouldn’t mind a rooftop bar, but the wife and I love dive bars so if you have any in that area I’m all ears.
  7. Had an old man (not old man Barlow, Gus) get hooked by one a few years ago. Hooked him and then shook him violently whilst still hooked. His innards were outards by the time the ambulance got there. 0/10, do not recommend.
  8. You’re giving a pep talk to the wrong person. My current view
  9. You know who the only people are that think owning cows is a good idea? The people that don’t own any cows.
  10. There’s a question, whether it stopped being, and when. And Sammy Baugh lived in Sweetwater for two years. Claiming him is certainly a choice.
  11. As someone who spent 19 years in Abilene, this is horrible advice.
  12. MLD season opens in 6 days.
  13. I’m Jack county trash now. Don’t lump me in with those miscreants in Hood county.
  14. Blanton’s has never been a GOAT. It used to sit and collect dust at $46 ten years ago.
  15. This. It probably sounds stupid to someone familiar with it, but we got on the wrong train several times our first day in NYC from trying to follow the overhead signs in the terminals. Had a bartender tell me to get the app and all was made clear.
  16. I’ve looked at one and said “damn he’s young but he’s not that great, let’s clean the gene pool” only to find an old man with no damn teeth. So I’m by no means an expert, but I’ve gotten a little bit better at looking at the back, brisket, and snout. If I were in your shoes I’d have quite the predicament. My granny is on 2900 acres, and the land to the north and the east doesn’t get hunted at all. Combined with the fact that it’s just me, dad, my brother and occasionally my squirrelly uncle I’d lean towards letting him walk since the odds are in our favor he would survive to the next season. I would communicate my desires with everyone else though. If you’re in a high volume hunter area, I’d say fuck it let it fly if I saw him.
  17. All the Josh’s came to party tonight
