  1. Because the market will support $4.50 gas in LA but not in Phoenix.
  2. I saw it at Bass Tuesday night. It wasn’t quite the original cast but it was still really great.
  3. Jumping from 7 to 5 has some interesting game implications, particularly for Dean. Dean’s fake legacy advantage said it could be used until F6, so it’s now done. And his nullifier has to be used by F5 so only one more opportunity to play it.
  4. Agree completely this is easily the best system if P5/G5 insist on remaining in the same division. If they want to split, then 8 is perfect.
  5. How would it being possible to win every single game you play and still not win the championship not be fixed by adding more teams?
  6. If the goal is to go undefeated and untied, then any system that makes it possible to go undefeated and untied but still not compete for the championship is fucked.
  7. I said they shouldn’t be “severely penalized”, not without consequence at all. Losses would still affect seeding. Had Oregon just played Portland State instead, they’d likely be in the playoff. That’s an incentive for bad football.
  8. You ask why I prefer watching Oregon-Auburn over Oregon- Portland State and question whether I’m the one who likes college football? The goal should to go undefeated by playing better than everyone else, not by strategically avoiding scheduling losses.
  9. What would make college football even better is for teams to not be severely penalized for losing an OOC game so we can prioritize high quality OOC matchups over “don’t lose a game.”
  10. Any system where Oregon is penalized for scheduling Auburn rather than South Idaho State is a bad system.
  11. Agreed those are some of the best candidates. Congo is a good call I’ll nominate: The Bonfire of the Vanities Gulliver’s Travels (the Ted Danson TV miniseries was decent, the movie was awful) The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
  12. That Larry Klayman still has a law license is a real indictment of the profession.
  13. SEC deal is also about to go way up because the CBS deal is up.
  14. Great acting and a lot of fun. I thought it was one of the best movies I've seen this year.
  15. You'd need to get her to sign a release agreeing to settle her claims against you in exchange for the cash.
  16. What political purposes are those? If anything, seeking to stop the execution of someone who, even if innocent of murder, has possibly committed multiple other abhorrent crimes, is harmful to anti-death penalty politics. Someone approaching innocence claims with a political purpose would only stick their neck out for the most egregious cases and for choir boys.
  17. I also saw the original cast on Broadway and absolutely loved it. Possibly even better than seeing the original Hamilton cast.
  18. What women aren't being believed? By whom?
  19. It is in fact possible for him to both be a monster and to be innocent of murder.
  20. It's hard to imagine this changing a single verdict. Do you really think there are jurors out there handing down guilty verdicts in capital murder trials who are thinking, "well, I do have some doubts, but those doubts aren't reasonable, so guilty it is!"
  21. Because only weak women feel sexually harassed?
  22. It is? The difference between the 30th best team and the 44th best team in most systems is going to be about a field goal.
  23. Yeah, I meant as coach. They finished ranked twice when he was QB, so that’s be 9/14.
