  1. If you believe in liberty and minding your own business, this is a nothing burger. Many people do things that I disdain or am disgusted by. I don't like the sight of men in drag. I despise anyone with a Trump or Let's Go Brandon flag waving from a fence. They aren't hurting anyone by these specific actions. They're owed tolerance from fellow citizens. That's the ideal. I don't know that the wide availability of porn to anyone with access to an internet is doing us any good. I suspect it is not. I honestly don't care that this woman is having sex on screen in the way described as an issue regarding her capabilities as an office holder. That she does it is sort of sad to me. The pervasive national interest in sex either celebrating it or condemning it doesn't strike me as such a good thing either. But there's no stopping it.
  2. My values regarding this matter are liberty and minding your business. Frankly, I'm not sure I should even know about this. She wasn't hurting anyone. It's not a criminal matter. She is not, as far as what little I know, running moralistic campaign inconsistent with her actions. Your post seems to be a clumsy attempt at characterizing me as what some would call a sexual degenerate based on my statement earlier which is really just a briefer way of alluding to what I lay out above. It seems to me that intolerance or condemnation of actions a person takes which hurt no one nor violate any laws makes for a degeneracy in the functioning of a republic that claims to be founded on liberty. Further, it more than seems to me that a sentence like the one I quote from your post is an appeal to the intolerant degenerates happily destroying a republic that they've been convinced that they are saving. Shame on you for distorting a statement in favor of liberty into some slimy notion of "values and belief system [that] align with pornography and public or exhibitionistic sex." Oh, and fuck right off, too, dickhead.
  3. This whole game went to hell when they stopped using straight ahead kickers.
  4. Me weekly watching them and rooting for the other team will have no impact on this.
  5. What evidence is there at all that A&M has sure victories against anyone in their conference? Weigman is good and they have excellent receivers. Okay. True The world keeps repeating that they are the 4th most talented team in the country. Based on what? Can you really be so talented and have such a miserable losing streak against D1 teams that, by the same metric, are comparative pygmies? It's an idiotic statement to keep repeating. Discussion of talent level should not revolve around some abstract notion. It does not take a world class offense to exploit their secondary. Their five-star DL has not established itself as any more than ordinary in the pass rush. They will be in danger from ordinary passing attacks. Olin the Dull pointed to their run defense being a bright spot. Is it not natural that a team who is easily exploited in one phase will have better stats in another? A&M is not easy to run on, but we've seen teams do it. Why run for 3 yards in one play when you can pass for 8 in two attempts? They quit. Not Weigman and the skill positions on O, but the rest do. They show inconsistent intensity. The fact that the Aggies are so terrible on the road could suggest that their players actually need a favorable atmosphere to expend the effort necessary to beat a D1 team. Last year, that often wasn't enough. Their culture is rotten and their coach would be gone except for his often-discussed contract. Inspiring! Every conference game they play is a toss-up at best. Alabama playing murderball will be a problem if their secondary doesn't buck up and support the line. I haven't seen LSU. I expect Heupel is familiar enough with a passing attack to be quite prepared. The Aggies may turn it around and start getting maximum effort, team cohesion, and displays of their alleged overall talent level, but I don't see why that will happen. Will they have someone who was a seeming mercenary like X. Worthy talking team? Do they have any chemistry at all? No, my friends, I don't see the Aggies healing themselves and becoming a team with a sense of great things.
  6. As long as she's not running as some sort of moralist opposed to such things, I can't say I care much. Of course, politically, it's suicidal. Unfortunate for the Dem efforts in that state.
  7. Criminal organization looking after one of its own. The top cop in Texas, corrupt through and through, is now totally controlled by the fascist leader of the fascist anti-republic party. I think I got that right. The good guys are doing great in this struggle. I see the power of the GOP mob collapsing any day now. Which Housewives show should we watch tonight? No, honey, there's NFL Sunday nights. Then your giant pickup truck and my giant SUV better be clean when we wake up to drive to our offices. Fair enough, honey. Or we could watch the news. [Both explode in laughter.]
  8. Not a culture that appears to appeal to the kind of elite athletes who chose to go to and stay at A&M. Permissive coaches and bags o' cash are the big draw to go there. Impose discipline and here's what the portal looks like in beautiful, beloved College Station:
  9. The questions were rhetorical to illustrate what the meat puppets on TV will discuss instead of the mammath in the studio.
  10. Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation. Still makes me laugh. Some of it's dated, but so much of it is funny. James Stewart and Maureen Ohara.
  11. We can count on media analysis to continue ignore the big picture and talk about political fallout instead. They're too lazy or timid or stupid or all of it to open their eyes to this real story of intimidation. Will this help Abbott with national Republicans? Might he be Trump's running mate? What will be the political backlash against the Dems who knuckled under because they don't see the big picture either. None of that shit matter much against a back drop of a former president leading the field to be his criminal organization's nominee again threatening and demeaning prosecutors, judges, the system, and the entire notion of us being a republic. Fascism and abuse of power should be covered and discussed like the presence of a massing hostile army on our borders. A real army, not a bunch of exhausted refugees. And that's only one of two armies poising to destroy us. Climate change and the coming cataclysm cannot be presented whole. It's only reported as ice deficiencies around the Antarctic or the string of hot days or the flooding. Those are the puzzle pieces not the entire assembled jigsaw puzzle. It's astonishing to me that both of these threats are descending on us with such speed. I would like to get out of this banana republic, but I will likely never have the means.
  12. Couldn't agree more. Any GOP holding office can't be embarrassed because they are shameless. Their supporters won't be embarrassed because all they see is what they're meant to see, and they actually choose to be that way. I think some people in Florida are resisting DeSantis. In Texas, the criminal anti-republic "party" runs free. Texas is an awful state filled with awful people.
  13. They'd get their swagger back and play with a chip on their shoulder!
  14. I liked DangerSnax, too. If I take a break, I'll go find him and bring his free-form prose writing ass back home.
  15. Wheelhouse! Nobody, no-bod-ee, wins at losing better than the dear old Texas Aggies. They're walking algorithms constantly misprocessing information so that their losses make them better than other teams who have worse losses. Hell, the losses may as well be wins! I've seen the Aggies claim they were better than Texas after losing to Texas based on common opponent scores. Kings of Losing. Welcome to the party, Fla, Clem, LSU, TCU, and Bama! 1 What? Why haven't I heard about this? 2 Nobody here wants that. Winning our conference and going to the playoff is not enough. How the Aggies will laugh at us for having a better year than they've had since things were trending Hitler's way. Same idiot: We see another Aggie myth in the making. Should Alabama decline starting this season, it will be because the Aggies beat them 2 years ago. Like the moon, they control The Tide. Ain't nobody want to hear that.
  16. A Texas recruit had a great game. Let's double down on declaring he won't be of any value! Don't make no sense to me. I agree with Helobius. To suggest this player has no promise is weak. Why would he get an offer from Texas early in the process? He does have measurables. All the feuding distorts perspective sometimes.
  17. A&M has had good coaches before, but their careers died, they were investigated by the NCCA, or they leapt to a better job. They got Jimbo Fisher after he peaked, and everybody knew it except the brilliant negotiators at Texas A&M University in Texas, home of the Fightin' Texas Aggies and the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band. Anybody who doesn't get a deal like Jimbo will either leave or crash. Traylor seems to be an extraordinary coach. If her were to take the A&M job and win the conference, do you think he wouldn't be more interested in a job at Alabama, LSU, or Texas? RC, Sherman, and Fran would have been happy coaching there for eternity but not many others. Also, I don't care where Traylor coaches just like I don't care much about recruits choosing schools we play rather than going to Europe or something. He may improve A&M to being a national contender (doubtful due to DNA), so we get a better game every year. I think we are on a great track right now. I don't envy anybody.
  18. Here he is with Maryland. The smug millionaire smirk still goes strong; he looked the same way on the Aggie sideline. The Aggies wanted Jimbo to let go of running the offense so he could be more of a CEO coach. Shrewd.
  19. You seem to think "brat" refers to on the field performance. It doesn't. That was the point of my post that you seem to want to ridicule and disagree with. A good surgeon can remove the bullet from your dick. Godspeed.
  20. I come from a long line of cowardly bullies.
  21. You're right about Auburn and Ark, I suppose, but who would look at A&M and not think the same thing? It's become a meme about A&M's tremendous top 5 talent that is just rarin' to manifest on the field any minute. They were given two touchdowns and the lead against Miami early on but aggyd up the fuck out of that. But, it's not like we're watching an obviously great and talented team being snakebit. We're watching a team with some very nice pieces playing like snakeshit because that seems to be all that they're capable of. Until proven otherwise, they just flat-out suck as bad as any SEC team on their schedule. They are what their record says they are. For us, we win watching them no matter which way it goes. If they lose one or two more games before their game against an Alabama team their fans seem to take lightly because we beat them, we could witness an implosion more thorough than that of the Titan. Or we could see the battered rollercoaster car start clickety-clacking upward again headed for the classic October derailment. Should be fun either way. I don't think they get to Alabama without another loss.
