  1. Dance dance dance - tackled. Just run forward with power.
  2. He. Didn't. Slide. The optics looked bad but per the rule he was good to go for the hit. You don't have to like it or agree with it. The receiver was less than a step away when the knee went down. That's why the flag was picked up. I don't care if the defender intercepted it and just stood there in the end zone for 20 seconds. The play isn't over until the knee goes down. Go knock his head off until it is. If it was that egregious they would have had some national officiating guy weighing in. They didn't. The only one who thought it was a penalty was the color guy who was ass anyway.
  3. A QB is treated differently than any other player, and he wasn't sliding. We've often seen an INT near the end of the game where the defender falls down to protect the possession. Lots of those guys get hit right after their knee hits the ground but it's not called because they do it just before the hit. Not enough to time to pull up. Doesn't matter that he was in the end zone. He stayed up until before the hit. It's a live ball.
  4. He was STARTING to give himself up. Replay showed the knee didn't touch ground until a split second before the hit. If the receiver pulls up and the interceptor decided to run it out? Whistle wasn't blown. Play was still live. If he gets hit before the knee goes down and the ball pops out and goes out of bounds then it's a touch back. Play to the whistle. But yeah, I'd be pissed if it was picked up against us, but I'd understand the reasoning whether I agreed or not.
  5. Maybe, but it was a live ball until a half-second before the hit. Play to the whistle.
  6. Is Bevo still down by GameDay? Wife just sent me this pic all excited. Says there was a Longhorn in back and they waved at him.
  7. Gooners just need to let them score
  8. Lose this week, have players check out, lose to UMass. TexAgs will implode.
  9. Texas 38 TCU 27 Total passing yards - 699
  10. Please screenshot or copy/paste. I don't want to go there.
  11. Before LHN we had to do PPV to watch games vs North Texas or New Mexico St.
  12. Sounds like some players are checking out and not wanting to play so they're extending the "flu" excuse.
  13. He changed his name to "Jimbo" and decided to take them down from within.
  14. They're a good team and they deserved to win
  15. Ok. That makes sense. Wasn’t thinking about special teams when I made my prediction. I'll fix that glitch.
  16. But you're not buying out Jimbo. You continue to pay him to sit in an office and watch SpongeBob all day. It's like having an expensive car that doesn't work and can't be fixed but you owe a bunch on it still. You can pay off the entire loan and then go buy another, but that means you're paying for two entire cars at once which is hard to do. So you just keep making the monthly payments on the broken one, then lease payments on the new one. Much easier to afford two monthly payments then to pay off both in full.
  17. Then call him that. Just don't let him on the field.
  18. Not to argue, but where are you getting your 76 plays from? 36 passes and 35 rushes should be 71, no?
  19. Nolan Ryan still around? Or anyone with an Astros and Austin connection?
  20. Yep. Can't afford $95 million right now. Don't fire him. Reassign him to an assistant athletic director role and keep paying him his $9.5M salary on the current schedule even if you have to do it for ten years. Easier to make the monthly payments than pay the lump sum, especially when you're going to have to pay for a replacement at the same time. Fire the rest of the staff (hopefully they don't have long guaranteed contracts). Get a new coach - someone younger and cheaper with a decent track record to come in for 2-3 years at $3.5M or so. If they pan out, bump the pay. If not, then go after the big name once the national impression of Jimbo's aggys has faded. And they can hope Jimbo decides to quit and forfeit the rest of his pay. Make him the TexAgs liaison. That should do it. Or move his desk to the basement and take away his red stapler. Just keep him away from matches.
  21. They went to AppSt and JacksonSt. Playoff teams aren't their concern. Wouldn't be surprised if they went to Tulane for the UCF game. Edit: You look over there and it's all about taking too much time to verify next week's schedule and getting beat by mdmost.
