  1. If we have to choose been 2 shitty QBs, play the younger one. Maybe he'll learn something and it'll help in the future. If not, it doesn't change the result of this game anyway.
  2. I don't know what that is behind the bar but get a better pic. Could be a good mascot for this game.
  3. My wife will tell a long story and end it with "So..." like she's ready to continue it at any time. I wisely refuse to engage.
  4. Aranda said it was to get over 10 for the B12 tie-breaker.
  5. Yeah, I was 44 for my first and 47 for my 2nd. 52 now. (Got married at 36) Oldest turns 8 on Sunday. I remember picking up my kid at daycare and having other little kids yell, "Your grandpa is here!" Wife is 10 years younger than me. If we had started earlier we would have had more. Took us a bunch of fertility treatments over a couple of years to get the first, then the second was a first try the natural way. I'll be 63 when my oldest graduates high school, and 65 when my youngest graduates. That's what happens when you start late.
  6. Not going to quote the moron who says that "this doesn't work" as motivation. But I don't look at this as a motivational thing. This was a "Fuck Around and Find Out" speech. This was putting everyone on notice that their shit isn't being tolerated any more and if they can't put in the work and have the mindset we need then they better leave before we kick them out. Because we will. MFrs need to stop motherfuckering.
  7. Congrats! Your wife sounds like my mom. When my brother (3rd) was born, we got up to go to school and my dad took us and told us he had to go back home to take mom to the hospital to have the baby.
  8. Just saw a highlight showing Colt throw a beautiful long pass right on the money for a 50-yd gain.
  9. Half-time stats: 12/15, 145 yds, 0 TD, 0 INT, 0 Fumbles 4 carries for 9 yds (one was a kneel-down to end the half. 1 sack for 4 yds 106.9 rating Cards lead 17-7.
  10. The other day my wife brought up a subject, started arguing with me about it, then forgot she brought it up and blamed the argument on me bringing it up. Then stayed mad at me about it for 2 days. Oh, and she once told me, "I don't want to talk about the nail" before telling me something about her job. Glad I showed her that video a while back and that she was letting me know she just wanted to vent and I didn't have to do anything but sit there and pretend to listen.
  11. Sounds like my wife when I'm driving: Her: Stop looking at your phone. You're driving. Also her: Me: Her can you look up what time the restaurant closes? Her: You've got a phone. Why can't you look it up?
  12. Throw a flag on 12. Not stopping at the whistle.
  13. Maybe we decided to flip the script and just suck in the first quarter and then play well the rest of the game?
  14. Haven't fully caught up on the thread yet, so SIAP, but I'm willing to bet that video is longer than what TMZ posted. I doubt that bystander just started filming with the car fully engulfed and Ruggs on the street. They probably shortened it so people didn't hear the girls screaming inside the car or the dog yelping in pain. The jury will probably see that, at least for the punishment decision. I hope we never do.
  15. Assuming a PC and not Apple, this is where still knowing DOS comes in handy. Assuming the actual files aren't encrypted and fucked beyond recovery, I'd just bypass any OS and go straight to a Command Prompt and copy off all personal files then do a reformat of the hard drive and reinstall the OS. Open each copied file in a shell to make sure they don't have a Trojan piggybacking and you're good to go. Then make sure you have a good anti-virus program that prompts before any registry change and tell Dad to call you if that prompt ever comes up.
  16. Understood. Just have her keep sugars and caffeine in check until her blood glucose test. Don't want gestational diabetes. Can end up with some big babies. We had that with our first and she was on a strict diet for the rest of the pregnancy. No problem on the 2nd. Oh, and see if you can get her to bite on this: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10706945/#:~:text=The%20present%20study%20shows%20that,in%20the%20occurrence%20of%20preeclampsia.
  17. Good luck, but you wait until 12 weeks to tell people just to be safe. And congrats!
