  1. Despite all that, the biggest sticking point for me is that the president put human beings in cages, including children and there was zero impact on him from that. And now he's having his admin remove the documentation, and surprise surprise, zero impact.
  2. I'll vote for the Dem candidate regardless, but Bernie seems to hold that excitement factor that nobody else has grasped. As for the people voting strictly against Bernie, it's safe to say the vast majority of them would've done that for any Dem candidate. Or better yet, they would find some reason to vote for DJT anyway.
  3. Yeah it's kind of a subtle flag (to me) that something is off about that person.
  4. Well said. I think the ideal needs to be around 45-60 years of age, but older people vote more and essentially decide candidates. They will usually pick someone closer to their own age.
  5. That Killer Mike speech was very good, he's a fantastic orator. But that last part where he lists groups and then randomly refers to women as just "females" just weirds me out. Not sure why, maybe it feels cold and clinical compared to how he listed the other groups?
  6. Wells added that there's no chance of hiring both Carrier and Jones, with one being moved to TE's.
  7. The run game has now started off hot against two opponents, and then they've adjusted at half time to stop the run. Texas coaches haven't done anything to change it up, and then they throw their hands up and abandon the run game altogether. They're either not capable or not willing to make adjustments. Super K said OU was also surprised at the lack of adjustments from the Texas O.

  9. (Jones)Texas Takeaways: On breaking down Oklahoma’s sack fest and figuring out the why in the Red River loss
  10. Second clip is amazing. He's unable to talk about Ivanka without sounding like a creep.
  11. Feels like a "you can't fire me, I quit!" kindof situation. It's funny that a network that claims everyone else is a snowflake can't handle someone disagreeing with them.

  13. No one can match Michgan (MGoBlog) for "meltableness"
  14. I had that same experience. My thing was, they were also the types that would get the most upset if that law ever came up for debate.
  15. This is nightmare fuel, and I can't imagine a world where a Dem candidate will lose Ohio + Florida and still go on to win. The podcast mentioned that those Milwaukee suburbs will likely get more conservative after choosing to sit out in 2016.
  16. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/07/24/podcasts/the-daily/2020-electoral-college-race.html Rundown about election math by the NYT. Basic tilting point will be Wisconsin, where Trump's approval rating is 47%. If he wins that state, he will win re-election. If he loses Wisconsin and every state where he's less popular then the Dem candidate will win.
  17. Tangent, but we should do away with that rule.
  18. I'm shocked, I tell you.
  19. In the grand scheme of things, I'm fine with him focusing on small issues like A$AP Rocky. It means he isn't fucking something else up. So... keep tweeting, Donny.
  20. Shot and chaser: Not to mention, she's always opposed legislation banning any of the dark money in politics.
  21. Exactly, and these people will one day be in charge of the GOP. If they aren't on their way already. Someone will attempt to take these ideas and make policy goals from them.
  22. There was a National Conservatism Conference (yes, I realize it's on the nose) last week. One of the speakers got accused of being a white supremacist, conference people got upset at that label, and a journalist covering the conference releases a transcript. This is where the Republican party is headed with people like Josh Hawley. There are plenty of Republicans who agreed with her, but there remains a facade of "merit based immigration."
