  1. If he blew 0.00, it makes me wonder why he was pulled over in the first place. And if a butthurt cop decided he wanted to bag a Longhorn athlete and didn't care for what. Doesn't excuse driving around with a vape pen, but Christ, someone had an attitude that night.
  2. Exactly my thoughts as I read it.
  3. I think Raiders are Quinn's best last chance.
  4. Cam to Philly
  5. Hope so. He's been mocked to them a few times.
  6. Success is always imitated. Not a new concept.
  7. I'm just glad the Bengals didn't draft Barron. No Horn should spend time in the Gulag Cincinnati.
  8. Other than politics, Lubbock and Idaho have zero in common.
  9. I've gotten the impression that he doesn't have good hands and isn't always where he's supposed to be in his routes.
  10. I think it was $3 per semester hour my freshman year (1978) and increased to $4 the next year. UT was harder to get into then, but a whole helluva lot less expensive.
  11. He was a great partner for Ron. Those broadcasts were for people who loved college football, in the days before espn decided to make everything an episode of Glee.
  12. Wasn't the conventional wisdom that RT wouldn't let Haith implement his offense?
  13. Carl Crawford chose baseball over becoming Tommy Frazier, pt 2 at Corn Aggie.
  14. More front offices are looking to sign their top prospects to long-term extensions early which provides both parties financial certainty. Which, to believe Bobby and Gerry, is likely football, since they both declare is why he chose the Horns. But a whole lot can change in a couple of years. Like someone posted upthread, it's good to have options.
  15. Vlad didn't do too badly, either.
  16. He's been under the Lucas family tutelage since he was a kid, so I'm sure the money is there but that's not the primary reason.
  17. His post-athletic career quality of life will be exponentially better if he chooses baseball when he turns professional. And he'll likely have a longer life if he chooses baseball. There are studies on this.
  18. I think it is too.
  19. Sayers, Sanders and Father and Son Metcalf. That's the roll call.
  20. Yep. He's not as athletic as Helm but he demonstrates glue hands under any circumstances. Arch's safety valve.
  21. How I loathe and despise the Dodgers. Way to go Rangers!
