  1. Our OL situation is in a comical state. I wasn’t in the fire Flood camp before but I am now. Change is needed. Recruiting large human beings that can’t execute any kind of run scheme and can’t stop committing penalties should be grounds for moving on from Flood.
  2. Sark can’t seem to understand he doesn’t have the players at almost any level to run his offense. This was obvious after San Jose St. He had weeks to adjust and didn’t.
  3. Connor Stroh has shown plenty of enough in game reps for the coaches to realize he doesn’t deserve to be on the field.
  4. https://x.com/BolieveInNix/status/1974202003950850124? It doesn’t look like the kid(Lacy) had anything to do with that accident.
  5. And Jamaal had an idiot of a head coach who thought it was a good idea to have him splitting carries with the ghost of Larry Johnson and then Thomas Jones to begin his career.
  6. In the context of OL don’t forget Charlie had an OL good enough for some guy named Donta Foreman to run for 2k yards in a season. You think he could do the same behind this OL? And don’t get me wrong Charlie Strong sucked ass as a head coach.
  7. I’m not a fire Flood guy yet either. But his unit is probably the least talented unit on the team. I know he likes to recruit his types but if you can’t get them to execute they are worthless. I don’t know if Pittman gets another head coaching gig but he’d be a welcome addition on the staff.
  8. I find this virtual measurement thing useless. If anything, better technology would have been a virtual spotting of the ball if the spot is challenged.
  9. It’s funny how soon some of you forget about the FSU Bama game and are right back to sucking off Bama like they are world beaters now. That team can very well lose next week to Vandy.
  10. I think it’s more likely most aren’t sure what your ultimate point is with all of this.
  11. I’m pretty sure I stated why it works.
  12. I wish yall would get off this 3 shell is Sark’s kryptonite bandwagon shit. There are WRs running wide open all fucking game. Sark is not stumped by a defense being in that coverage. Now is it his fault for not prepping his QB or recruiting a QB that can make the necessary reads? Or having an OL that can bully a light box? Sure, but from a play calling perspective Sark has no issue beating that coverage.
  13. I don’t know if you go to games or bother to watch/rewatch the games on TV but more often than not there are WRs open throughout the game. I think Sark is dumbfounded because he can’t understand why his offense hasn’t been able to execute.
  14. The thing that frustrates me the most about Sark is he seems to think his offense is akin to the early 90 Cowboys. Where the defense can know what’s coming but they still can’t stop it. I think he calls plays in the sense where, if y’all execute properly the play will be successful. Which is likely why he called all those zone running plays against UTEP. Trying to force the OL to be able to execute, yet the result was us watching them fall all over themselves. I can’t honestly believe they are executing these plays in practice but maybe they are. But at this point I think there is plenty of game tape and over the next 2 weeks, a few positions should be open for competition. I know Sark treats these games as glorified scrimmages, but he really needs to call a friendly game for what the offense is capable of against Sam Houston so they can have something positive to build on going into SEC play.
  15. He shouldn’t even be put in those situations considering his stature. You can’t make me believe he is executing these blocks in practice. He should be a return guy and a gadget player similar to Keilan Robinson.
  16. I do agree with this sentiment. Maybe they thought it was just because our defense was that good, and would be one of the best they saw all season, and would play better against lesser defenses. Iron sharpens iron etc… Particularly the OL play. If that was the case they need to realize they were wrong and some of those guys just aren’t very good. They desperately need to re-evaluate and figure out what blocking schemes their best 5 can execute well.
  17. I don’t have to pretend. I’ve watched the games and witnessed it. If Arch could get to a 60% completion percentage, make his reads at least half the times, and hit wide open WRs it would do absolutely wonders for the offense. Then we can move on to primarily complaining about how the OL, TEs, or RBs aren’t going to win any games for us. But the QB needs to show up first
  18. I don’t agree that the other issues are greater than Arch, I do agree there are other issues besides just Arch. However the buck starts with him. We need better play from him first and foremost. Just average play from him and we are 3-0 and still ranked #1 in the nation.
  19. I just have a tough time believing a kid from the Manning family is primarily taking his QB coaching from some dipshit named Milwee. And if that is the case, his personal QB coach needs to temporarily relocate to Austin or something. No doubt in my mind the Mannings would already be on top of it if that was the case. IMO the kid has just been a mental wreck. Hopefully he can get right in the next 2 weeks.
  20. If he can’t hire the right people to do this for him now, I’m not sure why we should think him hiring an OC would be any different. Also what OC worth a shit would come here just to get micromanaged by Sark. We hired this dude to call plays, he has brought us back to national relevance calling plays. Rewatching games and watching the all-22 when available displays the play calling isn’t the main issue here. So do we relieve him of calling plays so he can focus more on coaching QBs at the possible expense of the play calling taking a back seat? I’d rather hire a better QB coach.
  21. Play calling looks like dog shit when the TD play is called but aren’t executed. Just yesterday we saw a perfect play call in the red zone only for the QB to over throw the WR. So the choice Sark has is to trust his QB or hope his OL can get the necessary push. Resolving Sark from calling the plays don’t fix either of those issues
  22. We’ve made the semifinals in back to back years with Sark calling plays, and his play calling wasn’t the reason we lost either of those games. Thus far this year the play calling isn’t the problem. The primary issue is the person leading the offense. Unless relieving Sark of calling plays frees him up to go out there and execute for his QB I don’t really get the we need an OC train some of you are on. If anything we need a true QB coach who doubles as a psychologist. Also it isn’t a given anyone can come in and call a better game than Sark.
  23. Yep I saw that too, and there were other plays where Manning just missed his read or refused to throw it. It definitely puts Sark in a pickle. What do you call when your QB can’t execute easy reads? I think he should be prepared to pull him in the Florida game if it comes to that. I am hoping it doesn’t.
  24. I take this back after watching another angle of this play. Wingo did attempt to go get that ball, the UTEP player beat him to it. So back to being a ball Manning just threw hoping for the best.
