  1. As a follow up to aggypedia.com, I think the next project might have to be “The Dictionary of Redneck Ebonics.” A guide to translating what those trade school racist idiots are trying to say when they speak aggyspeak. It wouldn’t be a hard project to put together. They have one adjective for “bottom of the barrel,” “mediocre,” “average,” “slightly above average,” and “the best we can scrape up.” That word in redneck ebonics is “elite,” The most over-used adjective in the redneck ebonic dialect. Another word for the redneck ebonics dictionary is “game changer.” In redneck ebonics, “game changer” means “soon to be proven ineffective.”
  2. And upcoming is (yet another) example of aggy stupidity and Fish Camp "redneck history." I am sure it will fill the aggys with great pride and embarrass them even further in the eyes of those who know the actual story. https://12thman.com/news/2022/8/11/12th-man-documentary-premieres-at-rudder-auditorium-on-aug-20.aspx BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Texas A&M Athletics and 12th Man Films debuts the much-anticipated STANDING ROOM ONLY - The Legend of the 12th Man on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 7 p.m. at Rudder Auditorium on the Texas A&M campus. The ambitious full-length documentary is a sweeping look at a tradition that is often imitated, but never duplicated. Admission to the premiere is free but seating is limited to 2,500 seats and on a first-come, first-serve basis. Patrons and groups are encouraged to RSVP in advance here. The Rudder Auditorium doors will open at 6 p.m., and there are no food or drinks allowed at the venue. For more information about the Rudder Theatre Complex, go to www.tamu.edu. “This all-encompassing story of the 12th Man has something for everyone,” said Andy Richardson, Associate Athletics Director, 12th Man Productions. “Whether you are a fan of college sports or a multi-generation Aggie, you will learn something about Texas A&M and the unique timeline that has sustained the great tradition of the 12th Man for 100 years and counting.” The first major production of 12th Man Films is fittingly a full-length documentary tracing the famous 12th Man tradition at Texas A&M from the early days of the school to present day. As the school continued to evolve from a small all-male, military-based college to its present status as one of the premier institutions of higher learning in the nation, the 12th Man tradition has maintained as a visual standard for Aggie students in selfless service to their school.
  3. And, finally, a snapshot of both schools from the THECB 2020 Almanac. Now, in exactly what universe does Texas A&M "have more money" than UT Austin? The dingbat aggy twit had no clue what she was talking about. Sent into the world with only an aggy-level education, she babbled the fairy-tale bullshit she lernt in Fish Camp and embarrassed herself. She is an idiot, but a consummate aggy. The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M.
  4. And the reminder that aggy athletics is (yet again) unable to generate sufficient revenue from ordinary operations to meet ordinary expenses. This deficit is curious as supposedly aggy "has more money" than UT Austin, yet UT Austin spends not only far more on academics than Texas A&M, but as shown above, for FY 2020 UT Austin spent 20% more on athletics than did Texas A&M. Maybe that tart on the podcast can use her "redneck logic" and "redneck accounting" and 'splain to us where aggy is holding all this "money" and where, if not on academics or athletics, they are spending all that money.
  5. And audited NCAA financial reports for Texas A&M. Texas A&M 2020 NCAA financials.pdf Texas A&M 2019 NCAA financials.pdf Texas A&M 2018 NCAA financials.pdf Texas A&M 2017 NCAA financials.pdf Texas A&M 2016 NCAA financials.pdf
  6. Also, here are the audited NCAA financial reports for UT Austin UT Austin 2020 NCAA financials.pdf UT Austin 2019 NCAA financials.pdf UT Austin 2018 NCAA financials.pdf UT Austin 2017 NCAA financials.pdf UT Austin 2016 NCAA financials.pdf UT Austin 2015 NCAA financials.pdf UT Austin 2014 NCAA financials.pdf UT Austin 2013 NCAA financials.pdf UT Austin 2012 NCAA financials.pdf
  7. The most recent data from the Dept of Education is for FY ending Aug 31 2020. This data can be referenced here: https://ope.ed.gov/athletics/#/
  8. The aggys seems to be in a perpetual competition to demonstrate just how bad the aggy education actually is. "We have more money than 'tu'" (Please excuse my use of their shit-for-brains redneck ebonics.) By what metric? Notice they never give the metric so their claim can be verified. That is because they don't know which metric. And that is because no such metric actually exists. The annual operating budget of UT Austin exceeds that of TAMU - College Station and OU - Norman combined. If aggy supposedly has "all this money" they sure aren't spending it on education. Remember that A&M athletics is (yet again) suffering from a multi-year cycle where their operating revenue can't pay operating expenses. This, while they still haven't managed to find the money to repay the interest-free loan they originally took out in 2006 to fund that cycle of aggy financial distress. My favorite aggy "we is redneck rich!" counter is the fact that on or about 2014, TAMU initiated a $4B academic capital campaign. By 2018, the year the capital campaign ended, the net financial position of TAMU declined. Only an aggy could raise $4B and have less to show for it than before they started. Four. Billion. Dollars. The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M.
  9. Every Black athlete who signs on to what Texas A&M has to offer has to sign on to kissing the ass of Sul Ross, a virulent racist who, as governor, ushered Jim Crow laws to Texas. I’m sorry if that reality offends some of you. How pissed off would you be if your children, your wife, your parents, or your grandparents were doused with kerosene and lit on fire as they slept? THAT is the Texas that Sul Ross wrought. Fuck that. The aggys bleat about “family values” but they don’t dare talk mention “Sul Ross.” That is the “tradition” of the assholes who chose Jefferson Davis as their first school president. That is the origin of the “traditions” of Texas A&M. But Black athletes line up like “good boys” to kiss the massa’s ass. All for the money. It is what it is. Again, I’m sorry if this reality of Texas history offends some of you. Regardless of race, all the people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M.
  10. Lol. A “recruiting expert” and a “mental health expert.” Both offering their insight on this board for exactly what it is worth. A&M isn’t the only program buying recruits. Let’s face facts- we are dealing with kids who would struggle to pass an entrance exam to a respectable junior high school who are being offered six-figure (plus) bribes to attend universities they have no business attending and taking classroom spots from legitimate students. These kids have never given a crap about education and are being offered life changing sums to play college sports. They don’t care which coach followed them on Instagram first, or whether the university or “their uncle” is paying for them to visit a given school. Either way, they aren’t paying. Why should they give a shit who is? 100% understand 97% of them will never see a pro contract. 100% understand 99% will never see a rookie contract paying them more than they are being offered coming out of high school. These kids are professional athletes coming out of high school getting paid to play college football. And you “recruiting experts” and “mental health experts” actually believe these kids will pass over cold, hard cash because a given assistant coach has convinced them to give up life changing money to instead play for a program whose head coach has zero loyalty to anyone or any program over...wait for it...cold, hard cash. Cold, hard cash. Every college football coach, graduate assistant, or “quality control” lackey is a whore, praying for their next big payday. And you “recruiting experts” and “mental health experts” truly think the kids haven’t adopted the exact same attitude as every single other person in the college football food chain. Lol. Thanks for the laugh. Any given college recruiter could fuck a recruit’s girlfriend and shit on his mother’s dinner plate, and the only thing that will matter to that recruit is how much the school is willing to pay him to show up on campus, act as if he is attending classes, and be ready on game day. The one and only reason aggy had been able to elevate their recruiting is because the “best campus atmosphere” and “turdition” crap has no currency in a world of cold, hard cash. Those stupid, shit-for-brains, fairy tale swilling morons can toss aside the worthless shit they eat and drink every day and instead offer...wait for it...cold, hard cash. And yes, I’m saying those dumbfuck high school idiots are largely willingly agreeing to kiss the feet of the aggy shrine to white supremacy and play Uncle Tom for $$$$. That is the agreement every Black student makes when they enroll at Texas A&M. Regardless of what you think, history (outside of College Station, Texas) has proven Sul Ross to have been a human piece of shit. Sorry I have offended you by pointing that out. Last year’s aggy recruiting class was largely filled with Uncle Toms who will never last two years in that racist shithole. It is what it is. They took the money, they pay the price.
  11. It didn't matter in the least whether the aggy [pool party was during a quiet period or not. That was my point from the start. "Quiet periods" mean nothing in recruiting these days. "Official visits" mean nothing. If a recruit wants to ask how much a given school is willing to pay, he is free to have that conversation whenever he wants. Whether the the school pays, or the kid pays and recruiting expenses are rolled into his "signing bonus" is meaningless. It's all about the $$$$. Period. And, if you have noticed, aggy's pool party has gone off without a problem. Plenty of elite recruits, plenty of recruits committed to other programs. Not a one was worried about whether the event happened during a "quiet period" or not. Not one worried about whether it was an "official visit" or not. With VERY few exceptions, all these kids care about is how much any given school is willing to pay. They don't give a shit about what the NCAA has to say, they don't give a shit about who promises what. All they care about is the signing bonus, and the payout schedule moving forward. People need to give up claiming to be "recruiting experts." All we need to know is which program is willing to pay what sum to which recruit. THAT is today's college major sports recruiting. That aggy held their pool party two days after Texas held theirs was never going to leave aggy with "egg on their face." There was no misstep either by Texas or A&M. Both programs held their pool parties during a "quiet period." At both parties all the 'cruits wanted to know was "What you payin'?"
  12. Since you seem to have a rather short attention span, let me bring you back up to date on the subject at hand. It was brought up that aggy was having their pool party in a window where "official visits" were not permitted. I opined that such formalities were of no importance, as "official visits" mean nothing in the new world of "the highest bidder for the whore gets her services" college football recruiting. Texas had it's recruiting pool party this past Thursday, inside the same "quiet period" window aggy had theirs. Again, the fact that Texas couldn't host any "official visits" meant nothing, just as aggy having its pool party in the same window meant nothing. While "certain people" were mocking aggy for having their pool party in a "quiet period" window, curiously no one pointed out Texas doing the same thing in the same window was any problem. Hmmm....... Now you are up to speed on the conversation. As I said then, aggy having their pool party this weekend has no significance. "Official visits" mean nothing, except to two and three star recruits, and recruits at smaller programs. Elite college football recruits don't care which school has the best engineering department, the best logo, the most ferocious mascot, which coach followed them on instagram first, who offered who when, the promise of a jersey number, early playing time, or anything other than "How much you willin to pay?" THAT is college football recruiting these days, whether it is during a "quiet period" or not. I'm glad you are a college football recruiting expert. Thump that chest. Congratulations. The insinuation that aggy having a pool party two days after Texas had theirs was going to be a disaster for aggy recruiting is something I am sure we can both laugh at together. You, because you are a genius when it comes to college football recruiting, and me because I knew it was laughable from the start. And yes, the aggy shrine to white supremacy, their devaluing the Medal of Honor into a cheap marketing gimmick, using the negligent deaths of twelve students as yet another disgusting marketing gimmick, the filing of false government documents under penalty of perjury, and teaching ignorant rubes fairy tales as being actual history all qualify as crimes against my personal humanity. I respect that you feel differently. Evidently, that one laugh we just got to share together is all we have in common. But at least we had that one laugh. Have a nice day.
  13. Well, enjoy. The mere suggestion that when a recruit takes his "official visit" matters in the least is comical. Those times are long gone. aggy is doing their pool party this weekend. Texas is doing their pool party this weekend. Both will be well attended. Recruits at both parties have but one question - "How much are you willing to pay?"
  14. Not many comments lately about the aggy pool party turning into a complete fiasco. "Official visits" mean nothing in today's world of college football recruiting. It's all about the money. Just remember, you heard it here first.
  15. "A well designed stadium can be easily located from the adjacent parking lots. Kyle Field doesn't qualify" -random "Auburn Fan"
  16. Uhhhh.... Did you actually attend UT Austin? Two ounces? Even at 24%, two ounces isn't "commercial" volume. It's pretty much "stocking up for a big weekend and the next three months." Retail, the profit on two ounces is maybe $100. Do you really think spending $500k to train a police officer to then chase down criminals pocketing $100 for their "crimes" is good public policy? When an auto thief can pocket $5k with pretty much zero chance of getting caught? No, 2oz isn't worth expending law enforcement resources to try to crack down on. Unless, of course, you are in law enforcement and dedicated to the "blue code" of doing as little as possible to make the smallest possible effect reducing on crime.
  17. Meanwhile, back in College Station, the impact of TAMU includes economic stagnation, chronic underemployment of most residents, zero real wage growth in the past 40 years.... If TAMU makes such a huge positive effect on the rest of the world, why is the Brazos Valley of Texas such an intellectual, economic and cultural shithole? "TAMU ranks very high in many systems. For example: success of grads 20 years out, earnings, number of CEOs, facilities, national merit scholarships, international presence, facilities, number of recent graduates, Med school, engineering, law school, dental school, physics, petroleum and chemical engineering, Qatar, Osaka University, Business school, etc. Hard to beat the cumulative impact of TAMU across the nation and the world. It is huge." https://texags.com/forums/5/topics/3303560/replies/62564424
  18. I can't think of a culture whose members are more in need of constant validation than that of Texas A&M.
  19. The essence of the aggy experience is dumbing down as much as possible at every possible opportunity. The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M.
  20. The list of “12th Man” incidents is long and predates the aggy claim by decades. What makes me laugh about the aggy story is that they supposedly declared a player who never came off the bench and was surrounded by 10 other available substitutes as the hero of the game. Not the player who scored the winning touchdown. Not the star QB who broke his leg. But a player who left the team mid-season because he hadn’t gotten any meaningful playing time the entire season, who for yet another game never came off the bench. Only aggys can understand how doing nothing is more meaningful than actually contributing to the win. Here is the video of the 1954 Cotton Bowl tackle.
  21. I'm getting a lot of DM's about my "hate" for A&M. Let me set the record straight. I have no hate for Texas A&M. I firmly believe Texas A&M is badly failing the people of Texas. Which is why I believe the people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M. Upon having been conferred a post-secondary degree from an institution as munificently funded by the taxpayers as Texas A&M, one should be able to discern fantasy from reality. The entire culture of Texas A&M is built upon a foundation of fantasy, hence aggypedia.com. The people of Texas deserve better than post-secondary "graduates" who can't discern fantasy from reality. Their "corps of cadets" is a fucking civilian fraternity that is poorly lead and full of intellectually stunted children lacking self esteem who need to be "elevated" by being coddled in a "reality" that will for the rest of their lives be referred to in quotes. Again, I refer everyone to aggypedia.com. That not one but two former brigadier generals of the U.S. Army have signed on to perpetuate teaching fairy tales to gullible, small minded children lacking self esteem and guidance is a shame to our nation's military in that it produces such weak leadership. While the rest of America seems complacent about such weak leadership, I believe the people of Texas deserve better. aggys live in a world of shame that everyone but aggys see with complete clarity. The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M. By the time one has been conferred a post-secondary diploma, one should be able to participate in thoughtful disagreement. The mere concept of thoughtful disagreement is an anathema to the culture of Texas A&M. And that is what differentiates the Texas A&M trade school experience from a classical university. Classical education seeks to expand one's mind and one's horizons. The Texas A&M experience brutally and shamefully limits one's mind and one's intellect. The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M. The reforms necessary to elevate Texas A&M to being worthy of the people of Texas are many. If I had to start, it would be with the concept of "sacred grass." If we are to stand on the shoulders of giants, we need to first walk in the footsteps of those who have walked before us. The concept of "sacred grass" is of a trade school mentality. A trade school mentality is completely acceptable, and in its own very valuable. But we should proudly differentiate trade schools from classical universities. Trade schools are charged with teaching specific skills. Trade schools summarize human knowledge. Classical universities are charged with imagining and capturing the human potential. Classical universities expand our horizons. Classical universities build a better tomorrow. It should escape no one that the computer age so far has flourished in Austin and has completely passed over the Brazos Valley. Intellectual capital is the difference. Trade schools summarize intellectual capital. Classical universities expand intellectual capital. If I had to choose a second reform for Texas A&M, I would remove their shrine to white supremacy that stands at the center of their university and their culture. Sul Ross stands as an example of what decent people revile. The memory of Sul Ross is a shitstain upon the state and the people of Texas. The people of Texas deserve better than the shitstain Texas A&M currently represents. I have no hate for Texas A&M. I have disdain for Texas A&M. Because the people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M.
  22. Are we talking about the same Jimbo? The same Jimbo Fisher who made his reputation at FSU and was hired by A&M in part because he was a guy who would never let ethics or education take precedence over football? “So. I am a teacher. And I want you to know I have watched Jimbos actions with players in tense moments on the field and off the field. Here's what I can say. He honestly cares more about the players development than he does about winning. I can't tell you how many times other coaches would have changed things but he was insistent on teaching. Growing. Developing. I expect him to give Smith consequences for sure. But if history is a guide, he will also give the player every opportunity to learn and grow from this mistake. Because he is a teacher. I see it in our coach. And that's what good teachers do. They don't crucify students. They teach them to do better. So if Jimbo doesn't act like the judge and jury you would expect, recognize what his goals are and why he does this. He's in it for growing players. If he can see any other path towards teaching him, that's the path he will choose.” https://texags.com/forums/5/topics/3303047/last#last
  23. "It's definitely hetero. You know, the kind of stuff we did back at A&M. Hetero. Right?"
