  1. Lol . So can we assume his initial audition as a recruiter didn't go well? I wish him well.
  2. I wonder what happened to the awesome aggy stadium that made things change from being the most awe inspiring structure ever known by man to a place aggys themselves find unacceptable. ”My wife was treated poorly in the Zone Club after 40 years of attending games at Kyle Field. There was no one two rows in front of us and two rows behind us. It was 90 degrees. She had the email in her "clear" purse from the Foundation explaining mask protocol of no mask in the seat but a mask if we left our seat. The policeman said he would remove her from Kyle Field. We left 3rd qtr to watch on TV with air conditioning. If that's the way the Athletic Dept and the Foundation want to run the show, that's not the way Aggies roll.” We know this one is authentic aggy by the lack of understanding how one uses paragraphs: ”Many of the "opinions" stated are not coming from people who were actually there, so they don't have perspective. The mask nazis in the Zone Club were out of control. They weren't "senior citizen ushers". The worst was a young, blonde girl who apparently found her life's calling. I was chewing my last bite of pretzel, sitting in my seat next to my brother, appropriately distanced from others. My mask was under my chin because I was eating. This girl got about 10 inches from my face and told me I needed to put my mask on correctly. I told her I was eating a pretzel, I was literally chewing the last bite, and she said, "show me the pretzel." She was so rude! I told her I had just finished it and was fixing to drink my water because it was so hot. She said if water isn't currently going into my mouth, then my mask needed to be pulled up completely. Admittedly, it p*ssed me off and I said, "Thank you for being so clear and diligent, now go harass someone else." She turned back around, put her finger in my face, and said that was my first warning, and 1 more would get me kicked out. There is a way to go about this and she was out of control. At halftime, we went inside to cool off and she was in the face of a group f grown men who were having drinks telling them that they needed to pull up their masks between drinks. One of the guys told her to chill out and she radioed for a police officer. Im sorry, but there is no place for this. Donor or not, we are all adults and don't need some snot nosed power hungry individual treating us like we are toddlers. Hopefully this gets addressed by Arkansas.” ”The mask nazis at Kyle were horrible in some sections. These people are the worst kind of people. It's like they get off on enforcing meaningless rules” "This is the exact level of enforcement that we ran into. Just straight up nasty and rude about it. Calling police over to threaten us ect....... I can only imagine the ushers meeting they must have had right before the game started to come out and just start laying into everyone like that."
  3. He played pro after UT (I think KC) but got into concussion protocol and while he was waiting to get cleared medically, he got passed over and ended up out of the league. Last I saw him was last summer. He was hanging around The Opening at The Ford Center in Frisco trying to network his way into his next career. Not the most friendly guy, but he was there to try to get a foot in the door somewhere, not to talk with people.
  4. I’m tempted to head to Lee Harvey’s to have a stern talk with you right now. If only....
  5. Bullshit. Jimbo looks pretty good for a man of his height. It’s tough for men dealing with dwarfism. Let’s show him some sensitivity. Now squeeze your testicles and apologize. And for your penitence, fill a Mason jar with semen and mail it to him.
  6. The Knight Commission came out with a report on NCAA distributions (basketball, etc). Here is the breakdown. The report can be accessed here: https://www.knightcommission.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/kcia-cla-report-revenue-distribution-impact-fbs-football-factors-093020-01.pdf Who wants the fun of explaining to aggy that only redneck math can lead to any conclusion that their outside of football, their beloved S!E!C! is consistently fourth or fifth among the five major conferences in almost every metric.

  8. Their core problem (swidt?) is poor leadership. aggys revere Earl Rudder, but they fought Rudder tooth and nail when he saw the choice for A&M was either integrate racially and across gender or cease to exist. Earl Rudder was probably the only true leader A&M has ever had. And they hated him for being the only grown-up in the room. How many aggys have looked back on how aggys acted when they were fighting against Rudder's reforms and noticed how they are repeating those same mistakes in judgement today? Where is the "adult in the room" in today's aggy culture. Surely not John Sharp. His full-throated adulation of "the gallant Texas negro killer" shows his "leadership" is leading the poorly educated of A&M culture right over a metaphorical cliff. aggys don't understand the concept of good leadership, which is why their continuously fall for "false heroes" and keep anointing every clown walking down the street wanting to trade a handful of "magic beans" for their cow as their latest "hero." Or course, having promised "magic" by "their exultant leader", the aggys expect "magic" (all the while wondering why everyone around them - UT, LSU, OU, even Rice - have nice fat cows (or steers) and they have nothing). aggy has had a clear choice for many years - either be respected and successful in athletics and academics, or be aggy. They have always chosen "aggy." We know, "wait until next year!" Their "hero" is about to turn it all around in aggyland! And if not next year, then the year after that. And if not then.... Wash, rinse, repeat. Moo! The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M
  9. After over 20 years of not being competitive in conference play, a reasonable person would look higher up the org chart and begin to question whether they have the right people making their AD and HC hiring decisions. If Herman flames out, I would think the people who would have made two bad coaching decisions would be “thanked for their service.” aggy is now waking up to the fact they have made their fourth bad coaching decision in a row. It amazes me that aggy culture never assigns accountability for dumbfuckery. A bunch of drunk students get killed due to dumbfuckery, no one is held accountable. Waste hundreds of millions of government welfare dollars, no one is held accountable. Waste well over $1 billion on overbuilding sports facilities and on bad hiring decisions, no one is held accountable. Kellen Mond isn’t the person aggys should be directing their frustrations toward. They should start with John Sharp and not stop until a number of decision makers were replaced. But not at Texas A&M. Which is why their fortunes will never change.
  10. Only the agricultural branch college of The University of Texas is a land grant institution. The University of Texas itself is not a land grant institution, but thanks for playing. Univ of Alabama is not a land grant institution, either. The founding of Univ of Texas pre-dates the land grant college system. UA was granted just over 40,000 acres of federal land by the federal government, in the 1880s but that was in lieu of repayment of a debt owed the university by the federal government. Neither school is, or has been, subject to the provisions of land grant legislation. One differentiator between Univ of Texas and Texas' agricultural branch college is The University is, was, and always has been "Of, by, and for the people of Texas." The agricultural branch college was a federal welfare construct forced upon the people of Texas against their will during Reconstruction. Texas' agricultural branch college was essentially established as a reform school for incorrigible high school-aged farm boys whose parents wanted to be rid of them. The University was established under the model of the University of Virginia ("Mr. Jefferson's university"). Instructors from The University could be hired at the agricultural branch college, but the instructors at the ag college were understandably judged as unfit to make the leap up to teach at The University. The ag branch college instructors bristled at their second-class status. That differentiation has long been maintained and it has long been established that The University would always be the finest public university in the state. The people of Texas will never accept "Of, by, and for the people of Texas" being allowed to become a second-class institution. In any respect. That continues to this day. Which is one reason why the academic side of The University would never accept a decision to join the SEC and why they would never accept the hiring of a known human piece of shit (such as Urban Meyer). Never gonna happen. The Univ of Chicago gave up intercollegiate football over higher pursuits (although the school remains an academic member of the Big 10 conference). Johns Hopkins also maintains an affiliation with the Big 10, even though they only play intercollegiate football at the D3 level. Those examples are what UT academics keep top of mind. Because Bill Powers wanted to defend the authorities of the president of The University over the meddling of the Board of Regents, Nick Saban wasn't hired by UT to replace Mack Brown. Had Powers valued the prospects of the football program over academic interests, UT would today be contemplating stretching the budget to accommodate 70,000 students, and would be burdened with a 2.5 guaranteed transfer admission from junior college (and the overall lowering of academic standards we have seen elsewhere in Texas). That fight cost Powers his job, but saved the academic standing of The University. Ain't no way the academics at UT Austin are going to toss that chapter of university history on the ash heap less than a decade later. If UT will pass on hiring Nick Saban over tangential academic considerations, Urban Meyer (or his type) will never step foot on the UT campus in any official capacity. People might as well be wanting Art Briles. Never. Gonna. Happen.
  11. I’m convinced this aggy squad is salty. Jimbo has them just on the precipice, and we need to watch out because A&M is about to go on a multi-year roll that will redefine the sport. They are only about $5 mil/ yr in coaching salaries away from making it happen. Just throw more money at the problem, aggy. It’s gotten you this far. Just throw more money at your coaching staff, you fucking dolts. Lol.
  12. You would think that by now they would put their energies into game day activities and give up the midnight garbage. The aggy receivers should easily be covered in man coverage. Mind should see pressure. Especially early. aggy safeties are going to be crushed with play action fakes, putting their corners in shitty situations against Bama receivers. I predict Bama has at least 70 yds rushing in the 1st qtr and aggy has less than 70 total yards in the 1st. If so, grab your popcorn because aggy’s adjustments to slow down Bama’s rushing game will lead to 400 yds passing for Bama. In a short season, beauty points will help decide playoff teams. Look for a few instances of coaches running up the score this year. This would be a good one for Saban to grab a few easy style points.
  13. Speaking of “ivory butt plugs,” last night the aggys found a new low in “white people doing shit that is difficult to explain.” How did aggys first start thinking having five ivory butt plugs prancing around on a football sideline is anything other cringeworthy? (Warning to anyone expecting to see individuals other than of “pure Aryan blood,” remember, this is Texas A&M)
  14. I always enjoy when teams put aggy away in the 3rd, get the subs some PT, handle the game as just another cupcake.
  15. I think we have already established my level of concern over my possibly offending aggys. You mention Brenham. I am in the process of learning more of the activities that occurred in and around Brenham in connection with the infamous "Sul Ross election." Corpses hanging from the end of a rope in the town square, people doused with kerosene as they slept and set on fire. All kinds of events, all in the make of "traditional values." I'm looking to better understand the families of those responsible and what else they may have done in and around Brenham over the years (possibly where they went to school). At least for a while, Brenham seems like it was quite a place to live.
  16. Couldn't do it, personally. But I do find it fascinating how intellectual individuals end up in College Station, Texas. aggy culture erases unpleasant truths and exaggerates positives, enforcing all as dogma (with physical violence at times). I couldn't live in a community or culture that doesn't allow academic integrity or intellectual honesty, and instead enforces the "supremacy" of white, male privilege above all. I get enough death threats from those immersed in aggy culture as it is. No way in Hell could I live there. And, as I said, with the wife being Asian, I would never put her into the racist sewer that is College Station, Texas. She has earned the right not to ever have to interact with aggy. I wish more people were spared having to tolerate aggy culture. I find Texas A&M an embarrassment to the reputation of the state of Texas. The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M.
  17. Serious question - how often did you get out of B/CS to eat in a decent restaurant, interact with interesting people, or just live the life of an adult? And where did you go? Personally, I can't even stand to drive through College Station. Being Asian, the wife won't even consider visiting B/CS to see for herself. She has already seen enough of aggy culture to understand who they are. Living there? No fucking way in Hell. Couldn't do it. Most of those poor souls have zero real choice in life concerning who they work for, where they live, how they provide for themselves. I could not image having to live adjacent to, let alone immersed in, aggy culture. As for Jimbo, I think he fully realizes he is taking money under false pretenses, but if you consider how aggy culture perpetually (and ignorantly) careens from "hero" to "hero" and factor in that John Sharp hired him to play the role of "hero" (not to somehow surmount the cultural baggage that is the core of their problem), I guess Jimbo did his part and he is entitled to reap the benefit. At least until they (yet again) tire of him and careen off towards their next "hero savior." In the mean time fleece the living hell out of them and in return give them their (turditional) pablum of fairy tales and false hope. Wash, rinse, repeat.
  18. Jimbo's "arrangement" begs the question of whether any of us would wholeheartedly immerse ourselves in a racist, backwater culture for a decade for $75 million. Jimbo (FSU) and Tubervile (Tech) both understood they had worn out their welcome and neither wanted to take a step back to perpetuate their coaching careers. So they jumped. We get the dynamics. We all have repeatedly seen it throughout college and professional athletics. LSU would have been problematic for Jimbo because they would have realistic expectations. LSU doesn't have the cultural baggage that A&M does, so the LSU job would never allow for the excuses that are de rigueur at Texas A&M. A&M was desperate to assert some sore of legitimacy as a program that should be taken seriously, and on the surface, Jimbo Fisher carried some level of competency (we see the same with Mack brown at UNC or Les Miles at Kansas. Both programs going nowhere that needed adult supervision). Woodward did right by his friend, although we all know the real party responsible for Jimbo is John Sharp. The long-term price for the Jimbo Fisher contract is that Jimbo isn't laying a foundation that will support the program moving forward. I don't see any members of Jimbo's coaching staff who appear destined for greater opportunities (am I being delicate enough with my words?). I struggle to see any impressive examples of player development. He unquestionably has not had a signature win at A&M. His A&M teams have lacked any discernible identity. So we know why Jimbo agreed to coach at A&M, and it wasn't because he saw an opportunity to win national (or even conference) championships. He isn't building a program capable of delivering long-term stability to a chronically inept program. And the question remains, "Could you live a lie for a decade immersed at the highest levels of aggy culture for $75 mil?" Or, at some time during that contract (well after you had already banked more than enough money for your needs, wants, and desires) would your ethical self come out and bluntly explain to aggydom why their program has been what it has been, is what it is, and will probably forever be nothing else?
  19. If ever there was a picture screaming for a photoshop.
  20. I would advise starting at Harbor Freight and then ask yourself what features you like, don't like or wish it had. Then look for the manufacturer whose products are best aligned with what you are looking for. Ultimately, I decided to build my own, one specifically for automotive tools and another for woodworking equipment. The original HF one I use for general purpose tools. The ones I made are at the height I need for my comfort, have a flip top to provide a larger work surface (when I need one), and are on wheels, so I can move them around the garage, depending on the project (or clean behind).
  21. Hilarious. This is just a sample of the comments. https://www.thefire.org/research/publications/student-surveys/2020-college-free-speech-rankings/2020-college-free-speech-rankings-view-rankings/
