  1. It was so funny watching some analysis on OU that Klatt did. One thing he noted was "OU gets their defensive signals in super late.... Venables has a history of doing this.... make of that what you will.... I'm just saying... but teams get them very discombobulated when they run tempo." Those fuck knobs will always be cheating in some form or fashion, it is in their #OUDNA.

No no no… he has 12 posts on the football board. The rest are strongly worded letters to the admins.
  3. I actually think we are going to be able to run the ball on OU. They had a similarly fast defense last year that was flying around and disruptive, and we ran it on them very effectively. I think Sark will scheme up the run game and get some favorable angles to take advantage of their aggressiveness.
  4. Being an a&m beat writer has to be the most miserable job in existence. You get 4-5 weeks of sunshine, and then you are playing damage control for the rest of the year. Olin currently has his pasty white chest laid bare in the park trying to soak it all in.
  5. Lagway is on the bad side of the Arch early season mental soup. He made way better throws in his limited action last season, so the guy isn't a bust from a talent perspective. If he actually goes into the portal A&M is going to send a private jet to park in his driveway. Negotiating mid season is certainly a choice, is he trying to save Napier?
  6. Agree, if Lagway gets going it will be a tough out.
  7. I love how this guy nails the fact that we just pieface a&m all the time.
  8. Disagree. I think OU will enter the game as a favorite no matter what happens. With all of the national media bullshit about Arch over the last two weeks, every talking head on the planet is going to say that Mateer is the better QB in this game even if he balls out at Florida, and hence will be the favorite. They are going to look at 10 sacks versus Auburn and think that their defense is more disruptive. It is lazy analysis, but that will drive the opening lines.
  9. Although in fairness, I do have high hopes that the aggregate production of Ffrench, Lockett, and McCutcheon will outperform Moore plus maybe one of those other guys in the long term.
  10. Moore looks really really good at Oregon, in hindsight I wonder if we should have matched that.
  11. If Florida somehow manages to pull off the Lane train after they get rid of Napier I could see that giving some guys some pause late in the cycle, but Lane has never really been a top tier recruiter.
  12. It was on ESPN+. Awful fucking app by the way.
  13. In the moment I understand how everyone was feeling. It does appear that the fanbase has backed off of any prolonged shit talking outside of the few potatoes in the Arch thread, which is a good thing. I am going into this game with lowered expectations. If we score 30+ then I am fine. If we get into the 40s I will be optimistic that we are getting a few things clicking.
  14. Are you implying that Sark used bagmen illegally?
  15. I think they are going to have to settle for a G5 coach who is desperate to get to the P2 level. No top coaching candidate is going to touch this job with a 10 foot pole.
  16. Eh.. I would say no. OU is still trying like hell to be great but playing with a short stack. I think UCLA has kind of given up and is just there for the paycheck.
  17. I am definitely not liking the Guilbeau experiment. Problem is, I don't think that Kobe Black represents a huge upgrade in the speed department on the outside. Littleton to me seems like a perfect fit in the slot. He is rangy and great at coming up and tackling in run support and on underneath routes.
  18. That is the sense I get when I hear Peyton get asked questions about Arch. Its more of a "see you at Christmas" kind of relationship than a grooming to be the next great QB.
  19. Gosh.. I wonder which part of the season we are in..
  20. You want to bench all of our starting defense in a 10-3 ballgame?
  21. This is so dumb it feels like a schtick. But your schtick is so dumb.
  22. They got us this week..
  23. The first throw of the game he threw a swing pass out to the back and hit him perfectly in stride. The pass had some touch on it and he seemed loose. Every other pass from that point on was fired as hard as he could and he missed wildly. If I am Sark/Milwee, I am telling him this week that if he fires a ball as hard as he can he is getting benched. There is zero margin for error when you are throwing like that. Last year he was lobbing balls downfield and guys were running under them. This year he is throwing them all on a line, even deep balls.
