  1. I just realized they have Samford the week before our game.. what a joke. So just like Florida, Kentucky, and Oklahoma, they will basically be coming off of a bye. In Oklahoma's case it was a bye and a cupcake in back to back weeks before they face us. That is egregious scheduling.
  2. Haven't you heard? Arch is a spare. The UTEP game is all we needed to see.
  3. Agree, why wouldn't we want Georgia to win? If we go on the road next week and finally get over the hump in Athens, that is going to be the win that gets us into the playoffs even if we do drop one of the last two games.
  4. You haven't been paying attention, but Baker is turning into a very good tackle. He has grown a ton over the last month. I think that Daniel Cruz is going to factor into the interior next season in some capacity, but I would love to see us take a couple of guards in the portal.
  5. NM.. already posted
  6. You guys could manage to complain during a blowjob. Shut the fuck up in here for a few weeks until our first negative play against Georgia at least.
  7. When you are trying to reset the market in the wrong direction, you are going to wind up with your choice of D2 and NAIA coaches.
  8. That is some quality TE reps right there.
  9. Um. No.. Pocket Awareness is one of Arch's strengths. It is more his processing speed and accuracy that will cause problems. He takes a lot of sacks because he is determined to stick in the pocket and get a throw off because it takes him too long to see the open guy. He is awesome at sliding in the pocket and avoiding the first rusher. Quinn looked like a giraffe on rollerskates when a free rusher came at him.
  10. 21967 #350 Posted 3 minutes ago Crossposting Ugh, fuck.. fine. I guess tag me in then. Diego Pavia on his best day is heaving it 150 yards per game. That is only slightly farther than Brandon Baker heaves us backwards every game with penalties. Diego Pavia is known as a field general and a leader. I guess you really do pick up some things in your early 30's. If he had a star for every year of eligibility he would be an 8 star general - Supreme leader of the galactic fleet and second only to gimpy the nacho vendor for longest tenured retard at Vanderbilt. Diego Pavia bears a striking resemblance to that time I pressed my bulldogs face against my ex-girlfriend's windshield to see how much snot and drool I could get on there. Diego Pavia once beat Joe Namath in a pushup contest when both were in their prime. Diego Pavia is going to shit out his own helmet on Saturday after about the 14th TFL. It will be slightly less entertaining than watching him become the trainee of the month at Duncan Donuts in January. Diego Pavia is both the before and after uncle Rico at the same time. Diego Pavia regularly throws for more yards in warmups than in games. Diego Pavia once fought a trashcan and lost. Diego Pavia threw for... checks notes... 1,485 yards during his high school career. South Austin's mom has a body count bigger than that. Diego Pavia has never ended a season above 60% completions, even at New Mexico Military Junior College. Diego Pavia is making over $2 Million in NIL this season, that equates to almost $760 per passing yard for his career season average. But VERTIGOOOO... HE IS A RUNNIN Quarterback! Diego Pavia runs like the statues outside the coop. Diego Pavia has only once rushed for more than 800 yards in his decades long college career. Diego Pavia idolizes Johnny Manziel. Chances that Pavia exits Vanderbilt with any of his NIL money are zero point zero. But it's not all bad, at least him and Johnny can sit together when they try do autograph sessions at the local 7eleven. Diego Pavia is the first college quarterback to get a Propecia NIL deal. Diego Pavia is so stupid he failed the doctor's exam on hims.com I hear they came out with a new grading system for Diego Pavia at Vanderbilt, it is called the Pavia Curve.

  12. Concussion protocol, how does it work Chip? If he didn't start his on field work on Sunday he can't clear protocols this week.
  13. He still hasn't actually developed. The Briles offense just sks those guys to run go routes, posts, and slants. He is fast, but even then he had two drops running basic routes while running wide open. Two years ago when he played for OU? Drop in the cotton bowl.
  14. This is actually the funniest game recap Pate has ever done. Legit lol.
  15. Surly Jesus has just delivered his sermon on the couch. Repent sinners.
  16. Mark Stoops is a tariff on joy.. lol
  17. The plays aren't the problem, it is our ability to block them and complete basic routes.
  18. I don't think Lea's schtick would work at a place like Florida. He runs an odd offense that masks talent deficits. He is also almost completely reliant on one player, and he is almost 100% portal reliant. I am very interested to see if FSU goes after Deion if they do have the means to fire Norvell.
  19. I have kind of stayed out of this whole situation, but what in the hell is she doing trying to tell Bill Belichick how to talk about football? He better be burning through the viagra for this level of bullshit.
  20. Seriously? You are simultaneously saying guys are worth every penny, top 10 pick, show real promise, he's getting it just young, too bad he got injured because he was showing something, starting as a true freshman, expect him to be a star, admittedly know nothing about a few guys... And then you end with "This group is grim to look at. I almost can't stomach or process it." Maybe back away from the keyboard for a while.
  21. It would be even more amazing if Gameday went to Lubbock, only to meet with a haboob during the broadcast.
  22. Dayum, 8.5 sacks midseason is bonkers. Hat tip to David Bailey.
  23. So they think that Greg Sankey is going to welcome tortilla throwing with open arms?
  24. I am going to go out on a limb here and state that the Florida game wasn't nearly as bad of a loss as everyone here is making it out to be. Florida has one of the best rosters in the country, and they have legit dudes on that team at every level. Yes they are poorly coached, and yes we played like warmed over dogshit and should have won the game. That being said, go back to the Strong/Herman years. We would lose bullshit games against Kansas, Iowa State and Baylor, and then rise up and beat Notre Dame, Georgia, take the best LSU team ever to the wire, etc. Why? Because beyond the bad coaching, you still had a bunch of dudes on the roster who would all rise up and get up for a game. To compound that, we splattered them all over stadium boulevard last year and there were guys on that team that got embarrassed. Plus, they were able to prepare for us for basically three weeks and get a bunch of guys back from injury, and unveil the best true freshman receiver in the country who noone had seen to that point. Billy clearly pushed all of his chips in on that game to win and it paid off, the same as all of the fuckhead coaches in the B12 would spend the entire offseason scheming for us and roll out a bunch of bullshit that they had been working on just for us. They got one over on us, fine. It happens. Kentucky isn't nearly that level of talent. All of their high draft picks like Dione Walker and Maxwell Hairston left for the draft last year and they look to have replaced them with post death penalty SMU players. We are going to be fine. We may not blow them out by 30, but this game will look more like Oklahoma than Florida.
  25. Most likely they are just going to use him as a hammer in short yardage situations. In that case, yes it kind of is. I imagine he will need to learn about 4 plays. Dive, off tackle, lead block for Arch, and leak into the flat in various formats.
