  1. Eh, I never got the sense that he was a great recruiter, although he was a good coach. Justin Wilcox would rock, but not sure if he would want to take that role coming out of a P4 HC job.
  2. I think it is more of an indictment on Neto than anything else. What the hell is he doing that would allow Stroh to pass him. The fact that he couldn't find the field at all this season is crazy to me unless he went to the portal at the start of the season.
  3. In this case, I agree. Moore was clearly exercising abuse of power in the situation. If the reports are true that she wanted things to end and he wouldn't let them, then there really is no retort. It doesn't excuse her from entering into the relationship with a married father in the first place, or for however long she participated before she wanted out, but I can almost guarantee it was Moore who initiated.
  4. I would rather have Juluke. You get continued strong ties in Florida and Georgia, plus an outside shot at Jaden Baugh.
  5. Ah yes, the fabled national championship of the B12. That one has a special section on the wall.
  6. He has the tools no doubt, but he absolutely hit a ceiling early in the season and really stopped getting better. On the flip side, Arch improved throughout the season.
  7. I was going to say, Mack leaving doesn't make sense. He would play a lot next year unless he just gets passed over.
  8. Imagine how bad this is when Ohio State is somehow shocked at the lack of moral compass.
  9. Michigan should throw 20 million at Ryan Day just to fuck with tOSU.
  10. Who knew that Moore was talking about the postgame when he would say "we are going to jam it down their throats" in his pressers.
  11. Man, I would take a few of their interior OL including Lee.
  12. Wouldn't surprise me to see him go in the 3rd or 4th.
  13. It is a natural progression. This was unthinkable up until the time when these athletic departments are all suddenly on the hook to start paying players while operating at a deficit or break even. Why do you think Private Equity has suddenly and stupidly become an option? The CFP and major bowls represent one of the few options for additional revenue to the schools that haven't been tapped. In the arms race, it will cost more and more money to maintain top rosters and make it into that field. It is only a matter of time before tOSU, Bama, Georgia, Oregon, Texas, etc start looking around and wondering why they have to split their playoff and bowl money with Mississippi State, Purdue, and Rutgers. I was a year ahead of saying that playoff expansion was going to ultimately kill conference title games. I expect conference culling will be the next step, especially if networks start to get behind the idea of any type of a super league. The P12 blew apart because TV networks did not believe that schools like Washington State, Oregon State, and Cal deserved premium revenue to air their games just because they were in conference. They weren't wrong. In the next round of TV negotiations, they will be looking to drive down revenue outlays to conferences due to the money they are spending on the playoffs. That will put pressure on the pot of money going to each school, and in the absence of growth, there will be cuts to keep the top teams whole. But you go ahead and bet on status quo. It worked out great for George Kliavkoff.
  14. With the expanded scholarship limits going into effect, the SEC is going to be on a huge buying spree. This is going to be an expensive portal cycle and class. We will have around 30-40 spots to fill when all is said and done.
  15. All hell is going to break loose when these conferences look at their bloated membership and start cutting the bottom feeders to maximize profits.
  16. Problem is, they are almost certain to go B1G if they do move to a conference. That would likely trigger another realignment war.
