  1. I'll allow it. But also fuck you.
  2. Auburn Bama at #1 is certainly a choice, as is the egg bowl above Texas OU.
  3. On one hand, I hate seeing blowu up big, on the other hand I love reminding this shit conference who they are and will forever be.
  4. When A&M really really wants something, they mortgage everything to make it happen. It is almost admirable in a credit wrecking kind of way. For instance, I have it on good authority that they offered Urban Meyer cement pond-front property with a walkout balcony overlooking the mosquito grounds. When they went after DeBoer, They offered to let him stay in his bed if Reveille jumped in it. When they offered Ryan Day, they got a waiver from Bryan ISD to allow him within 500 feet of an elementary school. These guys are playing for keeps.
  5. You can say this all you want because you dont have every AD and conference official shit talking your school ad nauseum and every coach trying to make their career by beating you. You will never know how different that world is, and it is particularly annoying from a bunch of schools who would be in the G5 without you. So get fucked and enjoy espn plus.
  6. Don't care about the "love" part, but the real world is coming when you guys do your next tv contract. You got the deal you did because ESPN wanted Texas and OU out and paid a premium for it. When you have to negotiate based on your own merits, something tells me Yormark is not going to be looked upon as the genius you make him out to be.
  7. I love Wingo, but how he can be rated above Colin Simmons is something only a recruiting analyst could fuck up.
  8. Just signed an extension this season through 2030. Pretty small buyout though - $6 million
  9. Is this you @Sbbruin? Also, did you keep the guacamole bowl? https://ktla.com/news/local-news/taco-bell-holiday-party-involved-open-sex-vomit-in-the-guac-bowl-lawsuit/ A former Los Angeles area Taco Bell employee is suing the company and a franchise owner after she claims a Christmas party at the fast-food restaurant descended into a drunken mess that included open sex. Alana Bechiom filed her lawsuit last week in Los Angeles Superior Court. In the suit, she alleges that her supervisor invited her to the Dec. 18, 2022, party at the San Pedro Taco Bell at which she worked. She was encouraged to bring food for a potluck-style buffet, and her contribution was a bowl of guacamole. Once she arrived, Bechiom “discovered that [her supervisor] covered the windows of the restaurant with wrapping paper” and “also covered the cameras for the lobby in the inside of the restaurant,” according to the complaint, the NY Post reports. She claims her supervisor provided alcohol to staffers, several of whom were “overserved. Around midnight, after Bechiom had stepped outside for a short time, she walked back into the restaurant and saw a co-worker “having sex with his wife in front of everyone at the party,” she alleges. The co-worker’s wife, Bechiom claims, was also kissing her female manager and another female co-worker at the same time. “Shocked, disgusted and outraged,” Bechiom alleges that she first ran out of the restaurant but then went back inside to retrieve her guacamole bowl – only to find that her manager and the other co-worker involved in the sexual encounter were vomiting. One threw up in the trash while the other vomited in her guacamole bowl, according to the complaint. Bechiom says she reported the incident to Taco Bell human resources and Alvarado Restaurant Group, the Colorado-based franchisee. The manager and other co-workers involved in the sexual encounter were fired, her complaint states.
  10. Some remaining P5 coaches with bigger names and some potential availability: Dabo, Jake Dickert, Jeff Brohm, Lance Leipold, Mike Gundy, Sonny Dykes, Gus Malzahn, PJ Fleck, James Franklin. More than half of those are ridiculous. Jeff Brohm would be an interesting hire, as would Liepold, Dickert, and Gundy. I still think it's Elko.
  11. He is going to get a redshirt year most likely, so he will be three years out from his injury by the time he has opportunity to compete for playing time. I am not too worried about his athleticism.
  12. So many Texas references, followed by non denials. The rest of the show is coulda woulda shoulda.
  13. Are they still actually blaming that on us? Wasn't that proven by even Liucci to be some racist aggy asshat in Houston?
  14. I will believe it when I see it. Their BMAs are always seeing ghosts when it comes to Texas.
  15. I thought this game was particularly lame after Tech rolled out their Texas flag helmets for a game against the state university. It had the same feel as A&M calling themselves the Texas Aggies on all of their uniforms.
  16. I have heard PK say before that his defensive philosophy is predicated around points scored. He says that if he can keep opponents to 21 points or less, then the defense has played winning football. Only two times this season has Texas given up more than 26 points. With Sark averaging 30 on offense, even against the best 3-3-5 teams and schemes in the country, that equates to a lot of wins. It can be maddening at times, but it is also somehow effective.
  17. Not really, he took one trip that he didn't tell the staff about. According to Gerry he has been above board ever since. Florida desperately wants him so they are going to keep trying until signing day. I think their defensive class starting to fall apart really helps us down the stretch, particularly after the Mack flip and potential flip of Filsame.
