  1. I just didn't give the possibility any thought at the time, because you know, I post on the surl and therefore I'm an asshole. Or is the other way around? Kind of a chicken or the egg thing. Nah. You weren't.
  2. Shugart drafted by the Red Sox. I see Kurt is as accurate as ever.
  3. Meh. He's not going to second guess aggy unless someone else offers him $75 million guaranteed, which nobody will.
  4. Between this and all the surly posters expressing their hatred for Will, I did not realize the can of worms I was opening.
  5. You need to go have a campfire with @Napoleon and @The Earl of Texas and sing kumbaya. I don't get all the animosity, at least for non-Chip/Ketch types. Will's a good dude and he and TFB provide by far the best content of the sites. Who cares if he had a sock? At the end of the day, it provided some good laughs for us and there was no harm done.
  6. Any thoughts on if they go? Seems like Kingham will based on what @torre pointed out, but I'm hopeful Shugart would return. Seems like he has a good amount of space left on his development curve and could really benefit from a solid senior season, granted he loses all money leverage if he returns.
  7. Idk how baseball coaches can deal with recruiting. If you have a great early eval on a guy, he might blow up, get drafted and now you have a hole in your class. It seems like it would be really difficult to identify talent that is good but not too good and manage numbers on top of that when you have signees who may or may not go pro and you have current players that are question marks too. Gotta be difficult to manage the roster year in and year out. I guess a more robust JUCO market than other sports helps, but still.
  8. Lulz. I'm not trying to murder the guy. I like Baizer. I just found the $9.95er thread and got a good laugh so I thought I'd share.
  9. This was a good attempt at covering your tracks, but that's not all the good stuff from your fake account. It appears you went on an editing spree last night, mainly in the thread you started with your sock (and commented on as yourself) asking us about the $9.95ers and which ones you should follow. lulz. Overall, though, good job. In today's day and age, I expected to see you bashing Super K and Andrew or making pervy comments about Jennifer Lawrence's leaked photos. You asked to know all the times they fucked up (even though you edited this out last night. lulz) and then responded to you own question with your real account: I'll just leave this here And in there you did also call EJ a douche. (Also edited out but Katfid had quoted you so it's still in there. lulz) And you got defensive about someone criticizing the $9.95ers and threw Kurt Bohls under the bus (not that I blame you cuz that guy sucks): Well then should I follow Kurt Bohls and the AAS for updates? I'd rather not. You also threw some shade at Hamm in this thread but you edited it before I could pull it so it's a watered down version. Personally, I think you should've left this one unedited.
  10. Grad transferring from Stanford to LSU. That dude's gonna feel like he went back to middle school classes.
  11. I'm talking about their recruiting, not the on field product. Their 2018 class was bad and 2019 is off to a better start, but I think they'll fall off from where they're at now. Coach O is not organized in his recruiting approach and our staff, especially Drayton, should be able to run circles around him. My point is with Coach O at the helm, LSU isn't the same competition in recruiting that it used to be, and we should absolutely be able to win out regardless of how many RBs they take.
  12. At this point, I don’t care who LSU has at RB. We should be able to out-recruit them. They’re a fucking train wreck right now.
  13. You could just tell us where your seats are and how much you want for them.
  14. His hudl is really freaking good. Excellent mobility and a really good arm. He has a really high ceiling.
  15. I’ve got a glass of Weller 12 ready to go.
  16. Dude. We were talking about win totals next year, as in project what kind of team we would have. Saying "there don't appear" was a projection, not a guaranteed statement of fact like you keep acting. My approach wasn't irrational. What is irrational is Camel saying my projection is wrong when no games have been played. How are you not seeing this? Anyways, this has gotten beyond ridiculous, so I'm gonna step out.
  17. I realize you and Derka have a thing and I guess I've gotten interjected into this because I agree with Derka for the most part on next season. Idk who you're quoting there but teh words I used that Camel quoted were, "There do not appear to be any instant impact guys, so the rank of the recruiting class has very little to do with how the team will perform next year (although I like the class long-term with 4 guys who will likely see their junior year)." That's nothing like what you're quoting above. Also, that was in response to Camel comparing our recruiting class to some of the top ones in the nation in terms of how it would affect next year's team. My point was that our class was not comparable to a class like KU's in terms of impact next year. You've been drastically misstating and mischaracterizing this whole time. You're clearly trying to pick a fight today, starting with your post about how Banks and Hepa aren't comparable when Derka (nor anyone else) said they were. Again, this is a drastic mischaracterization. Camel is trying to act like Hepa's already had an instant impact. That can't be known til next year. It's not a position change, it's a response to Camel's idiocy.
  18. Lulz. Idk why you constantly feel compelled to take up Camel's side while simultaneously misrepresenting peoples' positions, but no one has "ranted" about it. Yeah, I expect him to have that type of role. That's not what I meant when I said "instant impact," but it's a vague term and I don't really give a shit. Us only having 7 non-freshmen next year pretty much dictate that at least one freshman will play those kinds of minutes.
  19. Good stuff. Thanks for the share. I really don't care if I end up being wrong on that point. I post enough on here that I'll definitely have opinions that turn out wrong. We need some more wing/forward types and if Hepa can come in and be a big time contributor, that'll be great. It's good to hear he's talking and dialed in on defense as that will probably be his limiting factor in playing time/impact his freshman year. Lulz. Let's slow down a bit, bud. Saying there do not appear to be any instant impact guys is not talking shit about a recruiting class. We were talking about UT's season next year and how much the recruiting class would change the trajectory. "Instant impact" is obviously a vague term, my point was we didn't have any 5 start type guys who would significantly change our win total for next year coming in, like Bamba/Allen, or even Jones. I'm still not convinced Hepa will have that type of impact, but it's certainly sounding more likely now than when he committed, which is awesome.
  20. That's fine. That has nothing to do with point Camel was trying to make or Derka's response to that point. I hope Hepa proves me wrong. If any of the freshmen do, it'll probably be him. Definitely sounds like he's developing at a really good rate. What scouting reports have you seen on him?
  21. No. There's a rule that you can be compensated in one sport and still be an amateur in another. And yes, i know, it makes no sense, but NCAA gonna NCAA.
