  1. We gave up 37 points against a very good offense. In the 3rd quarter our offense ran 5 plays on 2 drives, including a fumble. We also fumbled in the 4th quarter and failed to convert in the red zone to win the game. Im not sure how long youve been watching football, but thats not even close to the Top 50 worst defensive efforts in the last 30 years. Dont make me have to look back at box scores. Post Jonathan Brooks injury, its been frustrating to watch this offense. But this defense always gave us a chance and when they werent exceptional it was a surprise. All that said, PK’s secondary coaches have been below average. He had nothing to do with the first bunch, and maybe he vouched for Akina. I dunno
  2. Akina was a problem. Hiring secondary coaches before PK was a problem. Retaining Flood and Banks would be a mistake. We’re a penal colony in those areas even when we were good. The recruiting and development on the oline has been tragic. “Everyone” was clamoring for Sark to spend more time in game management and CEOing all aspects of the program, including defense. Not more time on offense. The “focus less time of defense” was a talking point in a presser to not provide full insights about the decision. We are left to speculate why we fired the best coach on the staff.
  3. Yes, it was a big surprise that the D sucked vs florida. Just like running the ball successfully in the 3rd quarter of the OU game and against atm was a huge surprise.
  4. Maybe Sark should ask the UTEP coach
  5. Well yeah he needs good secondary coaches. It’s why it was bad that he inherited secondary coaches before he got here. And, im assuming Akina was a last minute comfort hire, possibly foisted upon him. I dont like the disrespect or optics of firing PK, who saved our asses time and again during the Sark era. If Banks and Flood are retained in their present positions, then to me thats a bad sign because those motherfuckers are average at best and liabilities at worst.
  6. 3rd and PK? Nah. Sark is Mr 3 and Out. PK’s defenses got beat when his defenses wore down from being under pressure so much when they had to save our ass. We usually did a good job of containing scrambling QBs and obliterated Mateer and Reed. Better than most Ds. The misalignment of the backend is obviously related to Akina, who was a really bad hire, in addition to the two other secondary coaches. Why 3? because reasons. PK was the best coach on the team and we fired his ass. Hope he heads back to the west coast. Dont want him beating the shit out of Sarks frontrunner offense.
  7. We just fired the best coach on the team. With that said, Muschamp is a fire breather who can better complement Sarks reserved tendencies. And I love me some Coach Blood. The days or so between Greg Davis being fired and Muschamp being hired away were some of the best of my life. I dont know what to feel.
  8. Gonna need to dam off whatever graveyard his bones will infest in order to keep all the piss from overflowing.
  9. Holy shit the comments. If even 1 in 4 are real life humans, we are fucked
  10. IT has exhausted material to say the least. We’re nearly 10 years in Stranger Things and little kids getting Freddy Kreugered is not as interesting. HBO should just spin off with Dick Holloran in London or wherever he said he was going, get a new showrunner and see what happens. Dude was pretty good. Production value was top notch.
  11. Early Margot Robbie
  12. She strenuously objects
  13. Saw a minute. Looked like postmodern Gallagher
