  1. Oh sure, like he went to Harvard.
  2. Shit i fucked up that bit but it still worked
  3. One does simply beat out Bailey Zappe in the depth chart
  4. Blackhawk Down is about as good as it gets
  5. Meal Team 6
  6. Just plug Ruffalo and Pelphrey in the next True Detective as a palate cleaner from whatever that was last TD season.
  7. Kid, it aint that kind of movie.
  8. The best bad solution is to put the best 5 run blockers. This offense is dead in the water from the getgo without a run game. Then you need playcalls that give them angles and has some variety and threat. Pass protection that can hold up in passing downs simply doesnt exist on this squad. And Arch cant make reads to take advantage even if they do. False blitz packages are killing him.
  9. The show has had the same format for 51 years. Opening monologue, mix of live and recorded sketches, weekend update, 2 musical numbers. It’s not exactly cutting edge. And to go viral, most of the time they rely on narrating the punchlines to make sure everyone gets it or nonsense humor. There’s nothing to miss. Given the combo of NBC suits, old man Lorne, and a massive cast and writers, it’s a dysfunctional mash of old corporate interests and neophyte actors struggling with creativity. Long story short, it’s not you, it’s the children who are wrong.
  10. Cant say I like that my horse coming in last. Not caring for all the storylines. Doesnt seem tight except to throw out red herrings and contrive drama. Like someone said - it’s trying too hard. With that said, all the performances are great. The action is basically to set up dramatic exchanges, not unlike when Shakespeare pits two adversaries on the battlefield so they can have some banter before getting it on.
  11. Dude, wtf are you talking about? I remember Rashad Salam getting over 300 yards against us. I remember Manny Diaz fire drill defenses. Remember the BYU games? This weekend’s abomination is not in the Top 100 worst run d performances, as bad as it was.
  12. Strongly disagree. Partly because it worked and also I never watched Community much, so I was unfamiliar with him at that time. Every scene he was in worked well, from drinking his piss by mistake, to patronizing his boss, to not recognizing the head of NASA. It’s a blockbuster movie that’s also highly regarded by critics and rewatchable.
  13. Chalk something up to the “Good” category. I didn’t think about the refs much. I have no recollection of what any of them look like or the sound of their voice.
  14. If you mean Grasso, dude has a raging case of Catholic guilt and good guy. It’s unlikely hes the mole. There’s little reason for his scenes with Liz except to show it’s not them. It’s either Clinton or McGinty. We don’t know shit about them.
  15. Nicole has left her baby behind on blue bayou. Shes left Town Lake and now stalking poor souls on Buffalo Bayou. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/houston-texas/joy-sewing/article/bayou-deaths-whitmire-answers-needed-21069881.php?fbclid=IwdGRleANM-KpleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHtPMB3Z4V_7ilIPCGS6CYmg7QnsaGOsCaF8S3Ds5bk15-4NLB6tcMjpJCEI3_aem_zOh0Dg1GWgt03sAbDggTQg
  16. Kids in my neighborhood in North Austin have 1 mile to the elementary school, 6 miles to the nearest high school, and 8 miles to the nearest middle school.
  17. Probably book nerd shit: House elves (like Dobby) have to slave away to make them food and clean up after the wizards. In the book, Hermoine makes a stand for elf rights.
  18. If he were younger, sure. This is a dude pushing 30. He’s gonna go thru the motions and then chicken out at the last minute. Who’s he trying to impress? The whole scene’s purpose was to provide clues on who is and who is not the mole. Why would the viewer care about Grasso’s sexuality?
  19. She’s a rare teenage detransitioner. She said, on her inability to properly schedule events, that “this is where free speech dies.” On this point we can agree. Having the AG threaten a private university and their ability to regulate their meeting space is a potential violation of free speech. It’s like I’m taking crazy pills over here.
