  1. I have to disagree. He was not good in this game. But, the solution was not to take him off the field. The solution would have been to change the gameplan. Let Bijan and Roschon take the burden from him. But, pulling him would have been a bad decision. He NEEDED this roadgame experience. The score didn't get out of hand. Texas didn't trail in the second half until late in the 4th quarter. Continuing to draw up big plays instead of trying intermediate throws or giving the run game a change to set up some play action is absolutely what lost you this game.
  2. Last week when Texas needed a big offensive response, they turned to Bijan and Roschon to drive the length of the field. This week, for whatever reason, Sark absolutely refused to go back to that package. I don't know why. We had three straight three and outs where we went run-pass-pass. Sark never gave the run game a chance to rebound from a short gain. As soon as Bijan ran for less than 5 yards, he immediately abandoned it and dialed up something deep. What's more frustrating is that Sark and Ewers both had an extreme aversion to any kind of short to mid passing game. It was just constantly deep ball, deep ball, deep ball. When they finally tried throwing something short, the receivers and the backs were able to make moves out in space and pick up key yards. But they only drew up a handful of those types of plays, and just kept trying to hit on the long ball. Absolutely no adjustments were made. It's insane.
  3. Second half carries: Keilan Robinson - 1 Roschon Johnson - 0 Second half rush yards: Kelian Robinson - (-1) Roschon Johnson - 0
  4. That is a school tradition. They do it after every home game. This has been happening for years.
  5. Good morning. Stay hydrated. Beat the cyclones. I love you all.

Actually I take that back. They've done the "Retro Benny" uniform before and it was a lot better in the past.

Oregon State going with a throwback sailor helmet this weekend. The helmet is a 10/10. The photoshoot with the players untucked jerseys and long undershirt is... not as great lol.

It's very hard to find any good pictures of the field because no one did any promotion for it apparently, but the field design for the BYU vs. Notre Dame game this weekend was gorgeous! It's a shame there aren't many decent pictures floating around because the endzones and centerfield logo were terrific.

New Oklahoma Alternates this weekend. They are called the Prentice Gautt "Unity" uniforms which pay homage to the first Black scholarship athlete at Oklahoma.
  10. I for one can't believe the guy who compared the recruiting process to getting married is bad at managing young 20 year olds.
  11. That song the Aggie band plays on kickoffs might be worse than Boomer Sooner.
  12. Future OU offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien
  13. Haynes King has some of the most unattractive throwing mechanics I've ever seen. woof.
  14. Tech has run 6 plays for -1 yards with a punt and an interception since this tweet.
  15. I think the main difference between this year and last year can be summed up with this one statistic: In 2021 Texas had four scoring drives in the first half. They were drives of 1, 2, 3, and 6 plays. Texas' first scoring drive in 2022 was 12 plays. Last year, Texas was able to take advantage of a few OU mistakes to jump out to a lead. This year, Texas is just the better team. They are doing anything and everything they want on offense without having to be cute.
  16. I feel the same. In '21 it felt like we just caught OU off guard. This year it feels like we're just imposing our will on them.
  17. I can't believe OU found a worse play caller than Tim Beck. This is amazing.
  18. Ewers is ez mode wow.
  19. OU looks defeated.
  20. YES! A REVIEW! I LOVE REVIEWS! GAME WAS GETTING TOO EXCITING!
  21. Gabriel officially out.
  22. I thought they were fantastic tonight. They had some help from a couple of timely drops, but WVU couldn't do anything in the first half. It wasn't until the D went changed its scheme up to take away big plays that WVU started getting some success with the dink and dunk playbook.

I've only seen a handful of broadcasts on the SEC Network, but what little I have seen has been pretty underwhelming. Camera work hasn't been great, the graphics packages have been off. Not a particularly great look.
