  1. You're allowed to stop the other team on 4th down????
  2. If you only run one play out of the Ro Cat, then it gets really easy to defend. I think they've run that play four times for four total yards.
  3. What is McGuire arguing? Did he think it was illegal to punt?
  4. 200 passing yards for Card in the first half is a very pleasant surprise.
  5. We gotta run some different plays out of the wild cat.
  6. Looks like Sark found the running plays.
  7. Bijan only has 2 carries btw. Very cool gameplan.
  8. It’s Aslan. The lion from Narnia.
  9. Because the last three trips to Lubbock have been: 1. A last second INT to avoid overtime. 2. A last minute touchdown after blowing a 17 point lead. 3. A 15 point comeback in the final 3ish minutes to force overtime that included an onside kick and a two point conversion. Texas has not comfortably beaten Tech in Lubbock since 2014, and that win was largely because Mahomes was knocked out early in the game. None of the other trips to Lubbock since 2008 have been victories of more than 10 points.
  10. Highlights of this article include a typo in the opening paragraph and a cover image that is cropped hilariously poorly.
  11. And the year before that, and the year before that, and the year before that
  12. It might be hard to believe, but you're overselling the Murray State Offense. In yards per game they rank 116 out of 123 FCS teams. When compared against FBS Competition they would rank 131 out of 132. The only Division 1 teams who have produced fewer yards per game than Murray State are: Wagner, Colgate, Bucknell, Indiana State, Norfolk State, Wofford, Lafayette and... The Iowa Hawkeyes. lol
  13. I have several friends who went to OU, and if their feelings about Bedlam are share amongst the general OU fan base, then few tears will be shed about this going away. OU/OSU is almost on the same level of Texas/Texas Tech. OSU treats it as their super bowl, OU treats it as any other game that they'd prefer to win.
  14. It doesn't matter what route he took to get to there. You can drive other places after you've reached your destination.
  15. This is extreme speculation, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was visiting his family since he just had a son. He's originally from Tyler which is right next to Van Zandt county.
  16. There's a part of me that wants to believe that the Texas D will not face a more seasoned and experienced receiving corps than UTSA all season. To put that claim into perspective, UTSA's leading receiver Zakhari Franklin has more career receiving yards (2518) than all Texas Tech WRs combined (2296). In fact, UTSA's top 2 receivers (Franklin and Cephus) have more career receiving yards together (4335) than the entire Texas Tech roster combined (3255). The Texas secondary did not play great, particularly in the first half. But part of that has to do with the fact that they went up against an extremely seasoned group of pass catchers.
  17. And under Strong... we might lose 38-7 lol.
  18. UTSA recovered an onside kick, ran a trick play for a touchdown to go up 17-7 and then got outscored 34-3. That's improvement from last season. Hook 'em.
