  1. I can only go by the reporting, but I consider Julia Davis to be a generally reliable source on matters Ukraine/Russia. Google AI says that those facts have not been confirmed. However, the universally accepted fact that Trump is easy to manipulate (either by flattering, or by telling him that others are saying unflattering things), is a pretty well known thing.
  2. And yet you say nothing about someone owning two $5 half gallons of milk in the refrigerator… this is how a nation ends.
  3. As a cancer survivor, I read this and feel very conflicted. On one hand, fuck cancer. On the other hand, to quote a masturbating comic with a funny bit about peanut allergies, “…..maybe, just maybe…”
  4. Whomever convinced the Ukrainian delegation that they needed to collect all of the most offensive quotes from Russia state media about Trump -,and then give that to Trump when Zelenskyy visited Washington- that is playing beyond 5D chess.
  5. Cletus - “Muh IRA bought ‘em at $85. Man, imma be as rich as Trump…”
  6. Oh. Ignore the...Pulsating….shower massage 💆
  7. Fake news. I see two 4s, libster…
  8. https://www.farmforum.net/story/news/columnists/2025/08/12/farm-and-food-file-tea-leaves-are-for-tea-hard-data-is-for-hard-choices/85625826007/ FWIW, this farm forum dude is not sunshine pumping the Trump administration tariff policies.
  9. You’re going to need a bigger pork butt…
  10. Hijacking the moose thread…
  11. It’s a shame you don’t have any wild pigs up there. A little pork in the sausage makes that lean deer/elk/moose sausage ‘mo bettuh. Maybe add some beaver?
  12. I assume that a chest freezer where you are is just a hole dug into the Permafrost with a tight bear-proof lid on top?
  13. Do tell… j/k. cult gonna cult
  14. Hence the “Whoops”. But to the point here, the default was because units four and five would never be built - and the billions of dollars spent on projects that would never deliver a dollar in income led to the default (when the contracting utilities were legally released from having to back WPPSS bond holders losses due to that decision). I was just saying that people with a ton of disposable income during periods of high interest are in the catbird’s seat, as they can buy things on the cheap and hold out until times get better, and they can also benefit from purchasing high-yield investment vehicles (from entities not named WPPSS anyway) at the height of inflation. tl;tr The rich get richer
  15. The good news is we’ll be able to jump in and scoop shares at $2 pretty soon. To. The. Moon!
  16. Or they could move to a farmer friendly country like Russia. You could become one of their “serfs” - which I think in Russian history means “Land Baron”.
  17. We only need one if it’s good at hitting a moving armored train.
  18. Somewhere you have to factor in the fact that during those 40 years builders started building McMansions instead of two and three bedroom houses - because no one would buy them. Everyone can afford the houses that I grew up in, but who the hell wants to live in a house with two or three bedrooms and one or two baths? I totally get the tiny house trend. And happiness is being able to meet your needs and still do fun things after your nut is paid for - and not go deeply into debt. Not needing a fortune in income just to meet your basic food and shelter needs (because of self-inflicted over-purchasing) is far from impossible if you set your goals more realistically. It is interesting that the older I get - having things that used to be seen as extravagant are now deemed to be necessities.
  19. When I was working for a Washington Superior Court in the early 80s, an attorney buddy of mine bought his first house at a little over 15% mortgage interest. The Washington Public Power Supply (WPPS, often referred to as “Whoops”), a local utility, was issuing bonds at 20%. I guess if you have a paid-off home and paid off car (even if modest ) and not a lot of debt, you will be part of America’s widening financial disparity future. As inflation raises real estate prices, you eventually might be able to sell your home at the top of the bubble and sit on the beach actually earning something near 20%. Sort of an ex-pat’s dream scenario. I have an old WIN (Whip Inflation Now) button somewhere from those times. The funny thing about history is that it keeps doing the same shit - and we act surprised every time it happens again.
  20. Once Trump finds out how much the world is clowning him for being Putin’s pussy (if he can find that information from people keeping it from him that is), he just might put sanctions on Russia. Not because he gives a shit about Ukraine, but because he looks weak compared to Putin and people are laughing at him. As good citizens, we should try to cover the Interwebs with memes and GIFs making him look like Putin’s bitch. To support Ukraine.
  21. You “happily” voted for him three times, including the first time when the government had to bail out farmers after he fucked everything up… just like he fucked it up again when you voted for him the third time. It angers you that the Libs think they are so much smarter than you, and look down on you as stupid because you are from a rural area. Honey, it ain’t the rural, it’s the stupidity…
  22. Maybe he picked the snake up to look at his anal plates?
