  1. If Ukrainian drones dropped bottles of vodka laced with fentanyl near Russian troop lines, would that be a war crime - or just a bunch of fun to watch?
  2. Yeah . When they say looking at the historic timeline that we are getting ready to experience an event, they were talking about 15 to 20% chance over the next 50 years during maybe a 500 year cycle or more. When it doesn’t happen within 20 years that does not mean they were ‘wrong’ about the ready to pop volcanoes or earthquakes, or that the warnings were false. It only means that Batchelor interpreted their statement as a promise the event was gonna happen right away. Which is entirely on Batchelor - and was never a position set forth by the scientists.
  3. Jesus. It’s like dousing people with gasoline is now a bad thing.
  4. The Yellowstone Caldera laughs at this cute little natural disaster.
  5. I admit it sucks that you have three pre-teen girls trying to raise themselves with a drunken alcoholic idiot mom in a country where they don’t speak the language - and no one gives a shit if they die in the gutter after being raped by every Ivan in Adidas sweatpants in the neighborhood. I’m sure the kids at school are treating them well - considering they are Americans - and the news says Trump is shitting all over Putin on the reg. As much as I give no shits whatsoever about the dad dying, I still feel terrible every time I think about those girls - and wish there’s some way Trump could insist they be returned. Leave the mom.
  6. Yeah, and they demand you wear a seatbelt. And if you’re wearing one and drive into the water-filled ditch you’ll drown because you can’t get out in time.
  7. I’m sorry to hear that. Maybe consider putting the system on trial?
  8. The fact that it would be very unwise doesn’t seem to be a predictor of whether it will be done or not.
  9. Other than the Nork borscht protein created every day. And it’s not “cannibalism” unless you’re eating someone from Moscow. New Putin law should’ve told you.
  10. I’m not saying that ”drown” in a post is like a bat signal for Nicole to show up, but…
  11. I wish I could help. I did fall asleep during a CT in the 1990s. My sinus surgeon said it was the best image he had ever seen due to the limited movement during the scan. I’m not sure if there is a limited image with a standup MRI, but it seems if you are paying for it then your physician should let you pick the MRI you want as long as it’s within your coverage and will do the job, diagnostically. Your doctor of course, wants to have you use the MRI that’s financially associated with his or her institution, but that doesn’t mean it’s the only choice available. I imagine it would be on you to look up which imaging services are covered by your insurance, and have your physician order it be done at the place of your choice. But keep in mind the purpose of an MRI is to give your physician the best idea of what is going on. When MDA was still looking for metastasized cancer in me, my physician specifically asked that I be scanned with the brand new Siemens MRI, which he said gave a better image then the slightly older MRIs that was the backbone of scanning at MDA. In my case, the scan was to find small cancers that chemo hadn’t killed, and so I had no problem with a longer wait until that particular machine was available. That is my long-winded way of saying that you need to pick the MRI alternative that gives you the best image. Period. So gummy up if you have to.
  12. Which obviously means that everyone will disregard the next tsunami warning…..and will drown.

Not sure. I think we’re a basketball school now. j/k. I think he will miss significant time, we lose six games, and Billy is fired. if Lagway won’t be playing next year (for whatever reason) there will be a race to the transfer portal by the wide receivers who were attracted to Lagway….as opposed to our offensive scheme… such as it is.
  14. Apparently, everyone in this world has a soulmate if they can only find them
  15. I doubt that the drought stops at the Russian/Ukraine border, so that sounds like bad news for the good guys as well
  16. We should just let the grass grow in any place named Iowa, Kansas, or a Dakota after the next pandemic in no vaccination/rural /healthcare land- and let the buffalo herds come back. Of course, we won’t have a working electric grid to allow us to freeze the thousand pounds of meat - but we can smoke it using the wooden furniture of abandoned family farms.
  17. https://www.politico.eu/article/winners-losers-eu-von-der-leyen-us-donald-trump-trade-deal-tariffs/ Not sure how paywall-y this is. I think politico only requires you to provide a valid email to continue reading their stuff. It is a very good comprehensive article that goes into detail on the various trade sectors/components coming into play. It underscores that Trump‘s roostering around about a completed deal is typically false bullshit, with many details to be determined, and goals set that are impossible to meet. Add that there are numerous details still to be figured out regarding all of the new exceptions to the 15% tariff. If the goal was to supply certainty and allow people to get the supply chains back up and operating, that fails. Like a dog. Someone needs to tell me how going from a 1.5% tariff on EU goods generally - to a 15% across-the-board tariffs (with a whole bunch of carve outs and still to be figured outs) will not involve at least some measure of inflation due to the increased cost of EU goods subject to the 15% tariff. Europe ain’t gonna eat that. Someone is also going to have to explain why everybody around the globe rightfully hating on the United States for spring, that’s Trump‘s whim, tariffs B.S. is not going to result in at least some European businesses deciding to purchase goods and services from anyone but the USA if they can get away with it. The EU can establish a tariff rate, but the EU can’t force it’s private businesses to want to buy from America. It’s like Trump saying “tariffs for you, but not for me” is going to make them rush lovingly into our arms and try to increase imports from the US. Mind bottling.
  18. And it's hard to say how much my WBC changes And it's not hard to doubt I’ve strength enough to rub one out Oh, I'm just burning doin' the neutropenic dance
  19. I think I see a pattern…
  20. But the United States is finally respected again.
