  1. I have no idea why investors see Tesla as being 10 times as valuable as Ford. Is that Tesla's fault? As far as your question, Ford has been in business for 121 years, has sold more than 400 million vehicles, and they're still making "bush league" mistakes. It would appear that it's hard to make cars.
  2. We literally ddon't kknow if we ddo or nnot.
  3. I'm no defender of Elon or Tesla, though I was impressed with a Tesla Model S that I drove, but recalls are part-and-parcel of operating a car company these days. My Altima has had several. Ford just recalled 450,000+ Broncos because they might lose drive power while driving, increasing the chances of an accident. So I guess I don't understand the fixation that some have with regards to Tesla having recalls. https://www.foxbusiness.com/fox-news-auto/ford-recalls-450000-vehicles-due-loss-drive-power
  4. I wish I had read this advice earlier.
  5. Maybe he was juking while running the 200m, which would explain why his time wasn't that great.
  6. If that's correct, it means Williams didn't contact Sark to let Sark know he was portaling. That's probably all we need to know.
  7. I avoid all of this drama by writing glorious posts that are so filled with logic, passion, and goodwill toward my fellow man as to be unassailable.
  8. I thought @blacklab was talking about Vince Valdez.
  9. That's my take, too. Either that or a guy from Troy got a good look at the talent at an SEC school and said "you know, I think I don't belong here."
  10. Deon is a jerk to his players. Hangs them out to dry publicly. He won't last long.
  11. Um ... Not sure if this is sarcasm, but that is not Jimi Hendrix.
  12. Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt, 1978.
  13. They have? Because I have a nephew who's a 5'8, 155 .lb RB in Castroville who is an overlooked gem. His nickname is "White Turpentine" and I just need an address to send some film to.
  14. He scored 35 and 26 against A&M in the Hogs two victories this year.
  15. A Lithuanian broke the world record in the discus. Not surprisingly, because of the suckage, he set it in Oklahoma. The old record had stood since 1986. https://www.reuters.com/sports/athletics/lithuanian-alekna-shatters-mens-discus-world-record-2024-04-14/?taid=661c67086c80e60001a46bf9
  16. Add some Ray Price while you're at it.
  17. He's apparently an exceptional discus thrower.
  18. Just judging from his Jr. season highlights, he appears to have more potential than any TE recruit we've had in a long time, even Sanders. He looks to be on a different level.
  19. At my high school, there were a couple who were banging students.
  20. The scenario: you're heading out on a road trip for vacation. It doesn't matter where you're headed, but someplace in nature, where you'll be out in the sun. Maybe the coast, maybe Big Bend. You just iced down two cases of microbrew in the cooler in back. It's 5:45 a.m. but you don't care one whit about the neighbors and their so-called "sleep." You're faced with the first important decision of the trip, one that will everything else that happens and, in fact, the entire overall vibe of the journey: what song do you play first? There are worthy contenders: But none of them beats this chestnut:
  21. From Forbes. Is this bad? This sounds bad. "Beat the coming sellers to the exit. This stock remains significantly overpriced, with a book value (price/net worth) under $2, a price to sales ratio of over 25x, a large negative profit margin, and a negative price/earnings ratio. All the new shares will make the negative fundamental picture even worse." https://www.forbes.com/sites/johntobey/2024/04/12/sell-trump-media-stock-djt-nowan-implosion-is-coming/?sh=3b6e512c19ef
  22. Ella Purnell is a very attractive young lady.
