  1. That was Bill Clinton's theme song -
  2. Well the ski patrol said they had never seen or heard of anyone doing the headbutt so I am marking it down as freak accident
  3. I learned the hard way to never use the straps on poles. Kinda like you - pitched forward and pole is locked upright. Head butted it and had to get stitches on forehead. Without straps I would have had to walk over and pick up the pole
  4. MOPARs are out of sight (and reach). Especially with big engines. Rusted hulks with Hemi going north of 20K is common. Kinda surprised the Cuda with Hemi was under 100K until I read it agian and noticed it was a roadrunner and not Cuda.
  5. Not going back to search but has anyone answered the quesiton on blanket pardons? Can you say everyone in the capitol is free or does it have to be by name and crime?
  6. Yeah - thought it was Markie Post. We need a scorecard here.
  7. I have only read that they were missing in one office. If it was deliberate I would think thye would have removed them in a lot of offices
  8. Still don't understand why they don't make 2 distinct nozzles. I know they make one smaller but that only protects one side. Make the diesel nozzzle square and eliminate this issue
  9. Might not want to call her "old" either
  10. You do not want to get kicked out of there. Not the nicest neighborhood
  11. Thought for a second the Carcano ad was the same Oswald used but different Carcano.
  12. Crap - can't edit for too long. Wouldn't save Sent it to a very good shop in Michigan since I didn;t have time to do it Engine was toast - those push rods are even rusted Pretty much everything replaced and painted Underside gets painted - frame was "crusty" but OK. original wood floorboards Front suspension Rear was very crusty New tank and cleaning and paint Talking with them about the paint job. I will do the interior myself. The paint job currently on it was done by my Dad in 1980 in our garage. Probably cost 500 bucks or so counting a huge compressor. Today's paint job are a lot more.
  13. Some updated pictures on my 1962 MGA It's been in family since 1980 but not driven since 2000. Go it from my twin brothers estate. Looks OK but pretty much a mess after sitting
  14. And I'm with a lot of you on the bus to Satan for laughing.
  15. Absolutely looks like the Surly Pro Am. Especially with all the speed those guys showed.
  16. I definitely remember a bomb going off while growing up
  17. I would never trust an on line scuba course. Kinda like learning to ride a bike from a book. You have to get in the water.
  18. Alex City was easy compared to Goodwater and a few others. On the plus side you could drive thru The Narrows
  19. Yes he can.. That's essentially what Ford did for Nixon
  20. I may b wrong on this since it has been a few years but I think a lot of them are at Deer Valley. Which is still my favorite ski destination but it is high end.
  21. I am officially mad now. Went thru the entire house and no fins to be found. No clue what happened to them a couple years ago when I moved. Did find a pair of US Divers Graphite Comp Pro that I forgot I had but I am frustrated that I can't find Dad's old Scubapro Jet fins. Those things are timeless - 50 years later they stll sell the identical model.
  22. As I mentioned I started in 70's and the requirements were a lot different. I learned from some ex navy divers who taught the course and they added a free ascent from 50-60 feet as part of open water. You also had to pass a blackout test in the pool where you has a blacked out mask and the instructors did things like turn off your air, flood your mask etc to see if you would panic. I looked back at my old textbook once and you had tests on partial prssures and had to know how the different regulators worked by drawing diagrams of the stages. No idea if they were just adding things but it did help you to not panic if things went south
  23. That show introduced a lot of people to scuba. It also had some interesting gear. At times he was diving with triples and only a web strap to hold them on his back. Had to be uncomftorable
  24. My vintage Scubapro Jet Fins and US Diver Rocket fins seem to still be in a box somehwhere after moving back here in 2017. Which is odd becuase they were hanging in closet next to BC and wet suit bth of which are in a closet now. Gonna be pissed if I lost those moving. Jet Fins were my dads and had tons of dives with astronauts in them
  25. Closer view My high school regulator with the optional pressure gauge and J valve Dove with this knife for years
