  1. How else do you suggest they make money? Do you work for free?
  2. Committed without visiting. Was an EE, but hit the wall early and never really regained his footing. Suffered a significant knee injury during an in-season practice. Good kid, but he would have had a hard time playing here even if he did everything right and didn't get injured.
  3. Too early to make a blanket statement like that, Colton Vasek is also doing well to make his way back. Injuries don't help, but guys who aren't on top of their shit from the jump are generally gonna get recruited over. Sink or swim.
  4. Content is king. If anything, they need to put more out there. The way they package it could be better, but they are doing a great job so far, and their viewership is steadily growing as a result. Whenever I watch, it feels like a good vibe and I'm sure they'll continue to build while maintaining that.
  5. Having Ron Holland and AJ Johnson back out at the late made things really tough for this year's team.
  6. Big time get. Proven scorer with size and a secondary ball handler who can help get looks for Kent to finish at the rim
  7. With as long as he's been doing it, Bobby's disposition in dealing with the online community is admirable to say the least.
  8. Either you lose them because they haven’t shown enough yet, or you lose them because they’ve shown too much and you can’t keep them all happy with pt/nil. We’ll be a net winner in the natural inflow/outflow of roster motion.
  9. Darius Terrell ( D.T.) is a former UT WR malcontent, but he's from Desoto and current on staff at Waxahachie IIRC. It isn't out of the question for him to have info on Bear Alexander. He may be full of shit though.
  10. He's trolling or just stupid. That poster stans for whatever player has a hispanic background/name.
  11. In the spirit of pedantry, Blue only tweeted he would be entering the portal. He never officially did.
  12. His posting history says you should know better than to expect better from him.
  13. I imagine Peyton Kirkland is heading home to continue recovering and to have a chance at future PT. He has next to no path to the field here. I like Niblett, but it makes sense for him to leave. Red, same as Niblett. Like him a lot though Tapp and Swanson wouldn't shock me too much Juan Davis makes sense, but who knows if he wants to go before he graduates Sydir Mitchell hurts, but only based on what we think he could be. Austin Jordan S'maje Burrell if he wants playing time sooner rather than later. Another big time LB class this cycle could also have the writing on the wall.
  14. Baxter is going to be much improved next year. I also expect Blue to take a huge jump because he is talented, but he also has a massive carrot going into this year and has been going about his business as such. Both guys will be needed heavily this year. If the OL can run block more consistently this year, both guys and maybe a third will eat.
  15. What do you think the chances are that we have Moore for 2 years?
  16. Nothing wrong with being at a bar at his age. Likely hanging out watching an NFL playoff game. The fact that he got hit at all, much less sucker punched, and his entire crew did nothing about it is the biggest issue here. Crazy times we live in.
  17. MB did just sign a contract, but it was one to become the head football coach for a private high school in Austin.
  18. How in the world does a high D1 athlete with short arms only put up 8 reps of 225 lb at his size? The vertical and broad jump are also underwhelming. He's losing some money today.
  19. The sad reality is, these kinds of boards of communities need all of those types of people to feel relatively welcome for them to grow. The more these guys are called out for their mindless and possibly harmful posts, the less engaged they'll be and the less inviting the community will be for new others to potentially join. There's value in the Latiolais style of posting if there is a way to keep it from masking the more interesting shit.
  20. The numbers in that article are suspect. Also, it says Bama had a 45.2% hit rate, but the number is 10/42, which is actually 23.8% If you look at some of the numbers for other schools, it uses the same (5-star first rounders/5 star recruits) and has more accurate numbers listed. Shit, even Florida and Clemson have higher numbers there.
  21. This is suspect, how did they define the hit rate? Bama has had a lot of guys not pan out, but they bring in so many decently vetted 5 stars that they hit on enough to look good.
  22. If you were to list all of the guys involved in those videos OTF would probably have 4 or 5 of the top 7. Bobby has by far the most connections in the industry and at Texas, Gerry has the most connections as far as the HS landscape. CJ isn't a finished product, but the effort is apparent. I enjoy most of their content I get a chance to listen to. IT is full of undeserved egos. I've never been able to stomach much of anything OB or Chip Brown/Taylor Gaspar put out.
  23. FIFY He's well above average since he's been starting for most of his career. He also has nearly 40k passing yards and a 2.7:1.1 career TD to INT ratio. He's also above average amongst starting NFL QBs. He also isn't getting that kind of money to be a starting NFL QB on a team entering his age 36 season if he isn't above average. He is and who is and people who matter clearly value his previous and potential contributions to a team as a starter. He's not a super bowl caliber QB on his own, but he would be an upgrade over most starting QBs in the league. Shit, Baker just got $100M to give you an idea of the market
  24. He's up there with WIlliams for sure and he's a tier or two higher than everyone else at the position for us this year.
