  1. Because we're gonna try to upgrade his position. If he isn't guaranteed to start, then he likely wants to go somewhere where he's more likely to do so.
  2. It's all relative. Are they good o-linemen? No. Are they better than the matadors we had at LG for the first half of the year? Without question. They gave us time to survive this season and get it fixed without our season completely bottoming out.
  3. Best 2nd half we've played all season. Not sure it's even close.
  4. Let that be the end of Baxter on normal runs. Let him catch passes and pass block. Lean on Wisner though please. 12 more minutes.
  5. Lean on the run game Sark. It'll open up everything else if they have to shoot their linebackers to stop it.
  6. Tackling is also a huge issue. We look slower than them on both sides of the ball. Lack of speed/athleticism leads to more missed tackles
  7. The issue is A&M is playing tight coverage and playing the shallow routes when they are in zone. On top of that, they are getting pressure with 4. Horrible combo. You can't run a pass first offense under those conditions. We can't really run block these guys either. This is similar to what happened to KC against Philly in the SB last year.
  8. OL needs to play a whole lot better if we wanna have a chance in the 2nd half.
  9. SEC protects the higher ranked team more often than not. Gotta adjust
  10. Not all top rated guys are created equal either, so it becomes really important to determine how quickly these skill players can contribute once they get to campus.
  11. For those who are capable, try to take advantage of the 20% cash back from PayPal pay later. Many retailers use it, including eBay.
  12. When I care to game, I do it in 4k just fine
  13. Cheap guys who hit are much better than expensive guys who sit on the bench. Nahlin pretty much let the cat out of the bag when he talked about Scherer already being committed.
  14. Look at the hudl of his OL if you want to see more than home run carries. He’s a physical runner, and he has the frame to carry more weight without losing his speed. Not much wiggle, but he is a good kid who bleeds burnt orange so he’ll be good for the locker room too. I could see a Roschon Johnson type career for him.
  15. He gone. Blessing in disguise since he was an undersized project all the way.
  16. Pony Express redux in Austin. We already had Eric Dickerson committed, now we just got Craig James. We have a very thin room though, needed this guy with Rickey Stewart and Jerrick Gibson bailing, and Baxter losing all of his God given athleticism and burst from injuries. If Wisner goes pro, we basically only have Simon and Clark. We need these two guys and then a proven guy in the portal. Gotta have a credible running attack next year. Getting Walker was likely low cost, and he's got the right mindset to come in and make the most of his opportunities.
  17. Whether we win or lose, it’s gonna be ugly. I expect a Mississippi state style game
  18. What a cesspool. Sark clearly allows for audibles to be made in his offense by the QB. Does no one remember the Arizona St. season saving TD pass last year? Now back to your regularly scheduled rumor mongering.
  19. There’s no value in moving Sark now unless you have a better option lined up to replace him In today’s day and age, you lose the locker room, and you can replace the majority of the players over one or two offseasons.
  20. Apparently other teams hate us for being a college football darling despite not deserving it. The money helps fuel it too
  21. Mosley is definitely the best receiver on the team, but he’s probably the third highest paid one at best.
  22. Branch and Concepcion were both desired. Branch was pursued but passed on, Singleton was pursued but he chose elsewhere, we got Mosley who is pretty good. The poor evaluations and subsequently poor valuations in the WR room in particular have been the most disappointing aspect of this year’s team. Fuck potential unless it comes with a heavy discount for all that risk.
  23. They were motivated for Ohio State and OU. They looked motivated against Vandy too, but obviously lost their edge as the game progressed. It’s clearly a coaching leadership issue, but the team leadership is ineffective as well.
  24. Even if you have nothing to play for, you should still be working on things that will be beneficial for the future. You can't just be who you want/need to be some of the time if you ever wanna be that person consistently. These guys need to learn how to play fast and free with discipline. Not just go out there and try to wing it.
  25. Rebuilds are easy if you hire the right coach. Look at Indiana. NIL/rev share and the transfer portal are huge in mitigating roster risk.
