  1. So you mention AD's inflated college height of 6'4, then exaggerate it, only to take Jackson's college height of 6'1 and severely diminish it. You're better than that man. At best, there's a 2.5 inch difference there. Not the 7 inch one you fabricated to make your point.
  2. That matchup is 6'2 (AD) vs 6'1 Elijah Jackson
  3. Who is the 6'5 receiver?
  4. It was a joke post to dismiss that draft ranking system. Both Nelson and Arnold suck despite their lofty recruiting rankings.
  5. Connor Williams was a solid player for us as soon as he hit campus as a fall enrollee. He was a 3 star. Sam Cosmi, 3 star. Hayden Conner was a 5 star at one point in his recruitment, finished a 3 star, and he’s a 3+ year starter for us. Tyler Johnson, borderline 5 star Bryce Foster, Patrick Hudson, Kam Dewberry, Savion Byrd, etc. Recruiting services are all over the place when it comes to OL. As long as the eval is solid, and they’re hitting on their guys, I’m not worried about the rankings.
  6. I think after this year, Jaydon Blue won’t impact Sark’s decision making as far as securing a stronger running game.
  7. You referring to the Baylor kid?
  8. Have Ffrench ask Jaden Rashada about UFs ability to make good on big NIL promises.
  9. Mbatchou is a very raw prospect, but his physical traits are exceptional. He basically needs to learn the position in its entirety, but physically he’s not too far off.
  10. @Codaxx Not that it matters, but I found the quote and I had it backwards.
  11. Not gonna derail the thread, but Sark actually said exactly what I did at one point when comparing Tua and Mac. Quinn doesn’t seem to have the same level of mastery in this offense as those guys though
  12. Tua is actually the elite play action passer and Mac was the RPO assassin under Sark. Quinn was supposed to be elite at the RPOs, but he’s mostly just very good at them. When those are taken away from him, his effectiveness isn’t nearly as high. I believe Arch will be good at both, but he’ll likely be an elite play action guy.
  13. Safety vs corner. He wanted Texas, but believed he’d have a better chance to stick at corner at LSU. He’s not a 5 star CB prospect, he’s really good though
  14. Honestly, he can look good with Sark’s script then completely fall apart once the defense adjusts
  15. You didn't need to qualify that with college athletes. Especially now that NIL is compensating some of these guys, like Johntay, very well for their efforts.
  16. He probably has some mental block that keeps him from performing during actual games because I’m sure he hits those during practice. He is physically capable of making every throw. Not sure where the disconnect is for him. Frustrating to watch
  17. It’s possible to discuss a player without being hyperbolic. But Surly gonna Surly. Quinn can make every throw, he might not always see it, but he can definitely make them all. The only real complaint is his inability to save a play post snap when the defense or poor execution ruin it. He’s also not fun to watch and Arch is, and I suspect that’s where some of the complaints stem from too.
  18. He actually juked someone pretty good against Florida on a scramble that set up the 4 and 1 conversion near the beginning of the game
  19. Yea people don’t realize how much harder it becomes to throw without a threatening running game. If you give up 2 yards on first down to a run while only having 5-6 in the box, you consider that a win against our offense. Get us to third down and roll the dice or wait for the team to shoot itself in the foot.
  20. Arkansas was running a poor man’s version of the 3 high looks we were getting in the big 12 and got tfls with 5 in the box at times. Quinn missed some throws yesterday, but that was the bigger issue overall. If we had a more athletic QB, there would have been more opportunities to create once the pocket broke down
  21. No we won't. We won't play them at home until next year.
  22. Quinn was coming into a team that was 5-7, started Casey Thompson and Hudson Card the year before, and only had Hudson Card and Maalik Murphy to compete with. He was also a highly touted transfer ($$$) who was brought in to be the savior at the position. Hudson Card wasn't gonna start over him unless he was significantly better. Arch has the luxury of having Quinn, and even Maalik in front of him last year. Time to learn, mature, and refine before needing to do it full time.
  23. This is a Chris Leak/Tim Tebow situation. Arch probably isn't ready to be the full time starter, but it's too bad we can't get him more involved in the games somehow.
  24. and half of those were against ranked teams. Two of them against teams ranked in the top 10.
  25. Just win baby. It was ugly, but Quinn stepped up before things got way out of hand. For the love of God, find some fucking consistency Quinn.
