Burnt Ends

  1. Sanders does some good things, but he isn't good enough to act the way he did in college. That's a big reason why he fell to where he did in the draft. He's also careless with the ball, that shit will lose you games. That ball he threw to Jeudy was also not great, but he gave his guy a chance to make a play and he didn't. That being said, I enjoy watching him but I would hate it if he was on a team I cared about.
  2. That’s one I had circled. I think he’d kill it here in this offense.
  3. Pricier upfront, but it’s significantly better if you have the screen to take advantage of it. More games than you could ever have time to play as well. It isn’t uncommon for games to be made available for free or at steep discounts on epic, steam, etc. Stronger PCs are also great for entertainment and productivity.
  4. That irony is way too rich. Kirk gets killed, people make posts mocking it, “how dare you?!” Whack job online groups actively harass/doxx people for commenting on it on social media. This has led to people losing their jobs/careers over it. Reiner gets killed, POTUS makes a post mocking it and stands on it publicly. No consequences.
  5. @immamacFuck off with that condescending shit. It’s a discussion board and I know plenty enough on the matter. I build/mod computers as a hobby and I’m not over here trying to fake big dick anything. You always whine about a lack of activity on the board and yet you respond this way when you could have used way you know to inform/stoke greater discussion.
  6. You’re referring to HMB, right? Far more valuable for manufacturers to make that instead of consumer memory. Crucial just exited the consumer memory space I think the thought is that demand will shift to ddr6 and the old ddr5 modules will drop in price. Ddr4 can be still be had at reasonable prices for example
  7. Hopefully you guys stocked up on ddr5 ram, could be pretty rough until next gen drops
  8. You mean the schemed open RPO slant he ran for a TD? Is that a play DMo uniquely does well? His greatest value to the team is as a perimeter blocker. A better WR coach should be able to get guys blocking better.
  9. After the first few games, most fans will know the names of the standout players. It’s not much different from being able to follow who’s on what team in the NFL outside of the QB
  10. Lefau being gone makes it more appealing for higher end portal options at LB to come here as well. I liked the guy, but if we’re looking to maximize the roster, this move makes sense.
  11. His ability to drop into coverage on HS tape didn’t really manifest here. Solid against the run when he knew which hole to hit. Didn’t get off blocks the best though. Good guy, wish he would have stayed to set the floor, but as was mentioned, he can be replaced.
  12. We've seen Flood have effective OLs here and at Alabama. He hasn't been elite at it here, but if you replace him, you damn well better have a compatible upgrade available. He's been coaching OL play for Sark offenses for a long time, let's see what changes are made now that there is an obvious and public issue.
  13. Pretty sure Hardy to Mizzou was done before he even entered the portal. Also would have been a tough sell both ways considering the state of our room at that time.
  14. You're right, hyperbole is fun though. I remember how he handled that shot he took from Hill and he does much of his work in the middle of the field, IIRC.
  15. I'm sure Scudero has at least double the targets as Williams though. Dude would get murdered in the SEC
  16. Pretty sure Hardy was done before he even entered, but we were semi set with our backfield already. 6 backs to start the season. Went after Bailey, Hunter, and Thieneman
  17. He’s referring to how poor the o-line when he got here in 2021
  18. I agree with this. But I also believe being able to develop your guys along with the baseline recruiting edge provided by NIL the at Texas is more valuable than just being a rainmaker as was the thought in the pre-NIL recruiting landscape. It’s a spectrum, but the development side is something that Choice provided that really stood out to me.
  19. Relationships sure, but NIL is the recruiter these days. Give me someone who gets the most out of their backs.
  20. Barnes is gonna be a senior next year.
  21. Unless he took a big step up this year, Barnes is not good
  22. Along those lines, I thought it was interesting how emphatic Sark was in the Arkansas postgame about Anthony Hill playing against A&M. Then as the week progressed, it was clear that Hill wasn’t gonna play. Finally in his draft declaration post, Hill made no mention of Sark at all.
  23. That was always the issue with getting people the prize before actually having to do the work. It sounded like they were actively working against that risk, but maybe they fell in love with competing for recruiting rankings instead of hard filtering for mentality. Even the high dollar guys Oregon signs sit out longer than they likely need to, but it doesn’t hurt them since they only play a handful of teams who can punish them for it. That’s the next step in the culture/brotherhood we have to build. Getting them to prioritize playing for the standard/team over personal goals.
  24. He’s a solid 5-11 guy, but he’s pretty thin. Think Johntay Cook build. Saw/played pickup ball with D’Eriq King recently, and HE is small small. Built like a running back though, had success until he didn’t as a player but now doing well as the QB coach at SMU. He’s no smaller than Bryce Young, so if he’s as good as people say, it won’t matter too much.
  25. They also have Austin Mack who DeBoer chose over Julian Sayin.
